The Shore at Ocean Palms Retreat is a beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor apartment located mid-island with canal views and tranquil neighborhood. Two blocks to the beach mid-way between two beach access points.

Canal views from the windows and balconies. Manatee, dolphin, and palm trees galore from your kitchen, dining, living room and balcony of your unit. Fully equipped kitchens with a Keurig Coffee Machine, additional seating for guests, Dishwasher, Rain Shower heads and spa shower panels where equipped. Hotel style five star linens and towels complement our comfortable surrounds so you can unwind and relax in style.

High speed internet, WiFi, Alexa, streaming music and lookup features, 4k streaming smart TV, coded door locks and smart thermostat capabilities, Remote fan and light controls, Recessed lighting with dimmer controls add to the mood setting enjoyment of your stay.

Fort Myers, Bonita Springs and Naples are all modern cities with plenty of shopping, dining and sightseeing to experience. The South West International Airport in Fort Myers is close by for convenience as well.

Pet friendly restrictions and fees apply. Dogs are permitted up to 25 lbs and non-aggressive breeds only with pet fee paid in advance. Pets restricted to dogs only, no other pets allowed and penalties enforced. Excess cleaning charges may apply. Dogs must be leashed when outdoors, must be cleaned up after and can't be walked on anyone else's property.

Parking is limited to two vehicles per unit and only park in front of the building.

Great Location - Too Much Pet Hair

Great location! Minutes away from the beach, which is super convenient. Four stars because the living room furniture had so much pet hair all over it. I understand that it's a pet friendly unit, however, that doesn't mean it shouldn't get properly cleaned. I don't mind a few pet hairs on me, but this was a significant amount. I couldn't wear the same clothes on the sofa to bed because I didn't want pet hair all over the bed. But that didn't matter much because there was pet hair on the bed too. Not as bad as the sofas thankfully. But basically, the living room was barely used as a result. Annoying because we paid for the whole unit and couldn't use all of it. Sure, I could've let the property owners know about the issue and they could have tended to it, but I'm one of those people who don't want people coming into a space once my belongings are out. It should've been cleaned properly the first time so I don't have to bother with it. Otherwise, we didn't have any other issues with the place.

Great little bit of Heaven

The property was clean and conveniently located near the beach. When we encountered a minor issue with the washer, the property manager responded promptly and resolved it. I would definitely consider staying there again, and I might even think about booking a couple of months in January and February of 2026.

The shore @ Ocean palms

Overall the unit was clean with updated bathrooms and well supplied kitchen & appliances. We greatly appreciated the quiet area & other renters in the complex. The screened porch is great. Would definitely consider renting again next year. Just a couple comments: the well worn sofa sectional & pillows could use updating along with the panel curtains to better fit the living room window. The second bedroom closet needs a little help with the rusty metal bottom frame .

Bad weather

It was quite cold during my visit and the furnace did not worry. However, the property manager was responsive by providing a space heater. The water pressure in the master bedroom was low and the shower in the family bathroom had missing knob’s, making it difficult to change selections. However, that bathrooms water pressure was good.

A very nice location

This property is clean and is located very close to Fort Myers Beach in a quiet neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. The management responded to our questions, but there was no direct communication. We had to leave messages for someone to get in touch with us. There were a few issues that were resolved with the management.

Lanai overlooking the canal.

This place was very clean and perfect for a beach vacation for the four of us. Plenty of room, comfortable beds and a nice deck overlooking the canal. The area was peaceful, quiet and you could walk to the beach. We enjoyed it.

Review

Thankful for the accommodations but there were some things that need attention. The windows are all trailer windows, low quality. The curtains were not large enough to cover the windows. There were bugs. The drain cover in our shower was never screwed into place.

Nice for the money

We stayed here for a few days in July, and we were happy with it. it was really nice inside with a lot of updates. It's in Ft. Myers Beach and wasn't far from the actual beach. We would stay here again.

Hidden Gem

Just spent 6 nights at this hidden gem it’s an upper duplex with a lovely balcony with comfy out door seating .. Tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and equipped with everything you need for a home away from home. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Patsy Houston Texas

Wonderful Experience

My wife and stepdaughter enjoyed our week stay at this location mainly due to great accommodations as listed in profile and easy access to beach a short two blocks away. Have already recommended rental to other family and friends!!

Family vacation

This property fit our needs perfectly! It had everything you’ll need to visit the beach! It was comfortable for our family of 4! We only turned on the tv once but Netflix was there ready to use. Laundry facilities were available to use! We would definitely stay again!

Amazing Little Place

We had a great time. The kitchen was fully equiped to make dinners and breakfast. Short walk to the beach. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The walk to publix was a short walk. Tvs were easy to use. Definitely would stay again.

Very relaxing oasis by the beach

Easy to rent, check in, new and modern, with multiple places to hangout or take an easy walk to the beach. Was far away from the main shopping and restaurants which took some time and effort to reach those spots. The benefit was a very quiet vacation with not many people on the beach nor all the sounds from the jet skis, boats and bar music.

Be Prepared to be disappointed

Inaccurate accounting of amenities - bring you own beach chairs and umbrella. There is no Coastal Breeze "concierge service.." If you have issues you will need to resolve them yourself or live with it. It has two bathrooms, but no water pressure in master bedroom bathroom. So, only one workable shower. Overall property is worn and tired. Renter beware.
