We enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning to watch the sunrise. The property and resort were clean, towels were constantly stocked for the pool and lazy river. The area has so much to offer - always something to do! The host was easy to reach and helpful whenever we needed anything.

Truly beachfront!

We had a great stay at the Blue Crab. Nice, clean condo. We enjoyed using the beautiful kitchen and sitting on the balcony. Loved the lazy river and being right on the beach, too!

Overall nice place, great location with great amenities. Only downfall is that you can hear people above you, we had very loud people above us making noise into the early morning hours.

Relaxing beach vacation

We had a very fun vacation. Took our grandson to the ocean for the first time. Had a blast. The condo was awesome looks just like the picture. Jonathon the host was awesome answered all my questions in a timely manner. Will definitely stay here again.

Blue Crab Fun

This great 3 bedroom offers accessibility to beach and all of the activities nearby. Condo is clean and communication with owner was great. Building has the outdoor and indoor pool, steps from the beach!

Family vacation

Condo was nice but didn’t realize much of the property is a hotel with nightly rooms. Being on the 18th floor made the elevator stop often making coming and going a pain. Kids enjoyed the pool and lazy river, beach was pretty. Location was undesirable without restaurants in walking distance, a rental car is a must.

Hi Shannon! Again, thank you for allowing us to be your hosts for your family vacation and for also taking the time to review our condo. Just to clarify, our condo is in the Paradise resort that is considered a "condotel'...condos with hotel type amenities. These are very common in the Myrtle Beach area. Most units are owned privately and rented on a weekly basis this time of year. There are some that are owned by the resort, that are rented nightly during the off-season, but not during the peak vacation season. I am so sorry that you found the trip up to the 18th floor a pain. We always felt that the extra minutes spent on the elevator is DEFINITELY worth the view from the condo's balcony. It feels like you are floating on the clouds above the ocean. Not to mention, that you don't hear any noise from the pool area, all you hear is the sound of the ocean. Almost all of the feedback we have received from guests state how much they love it! I'm also sorry that you felt the location was undesirable. We love that the condo is located in the South part of Myrtle Beach. A very quick Uber ride or car ride away from all the "action" and many restaurants but far enough away for it to be nice and quiet. Regardless of it not being a perfect fit for your family, we truly hope you enjoyed your stay and were able to make a ton of wonderful family memories. Best regards, Elyse and Andrew

Girl's Trip

We had a girls trip and had an awesome time. The rental was roomy and comfortable. It had all the necessary essentials. Comfortable beds with plenty of linens, working televisions in every room, more than enough towels and washcloths for everyone, an a kitchen full of everything needed. The host was gracious and readily available on the phone to answer aby questions . Time maybe for some livingroom furniture replacements, but overall this was a nice little getaway for my group of 8 ladies. Will gladly do it again.

Condo:Great! Resort: not so much

The view from the 18th floor was incredible, the condo was nice and clean when we arrived. My only complaint about the condo was the washing machine had mold in it and the towels that were hung in the bathrooms smelled terrible of must and had to be rewashed before we could use them. Even after re-washing them, they still did not smell great. There were also not enough towels/wash cloths for all of us, so we had to wash multiple times a day. As far as the resort goes, the elevator rides to and from the 18th floor were miserable, especially when trying to load and unload the cars. During check in and check out times, it was next to impossible to find an elevator that had room for you to get on. Not to mention, the employees of the resort used the same elevators as we did and they were often using an entire elevator to transport towels, luggage racks, etc. up and down. I realize they need to use an elevator, but perhaps they should have a designated elevator that is only for employees. The parking garage is very tight, and very difficult to maneuver in anything larger than a small car. We often parked across the street at the overflow parking lot, which was much more convenient. The pools were decent but seemed like there was always one shut down which made the others very crowded. The restaurant at the resort is extremely expensive for a breakfast meal and the food was not good. The vending machines were broken, the ice machines were always out of ice.

My family and I stayed at The Blue Crab in Myrtle Beach for a week and had a great vacation overall, but there were definitely some pros and cons.The positives were the friendly and welcoming staff, the beautiful beach view, and the convenient location that made it easy to get to restaurants and attractions. We also enjoyed having the tiki bar on-site, the new refrigerator in the condo, and the easy parking.Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the condo was disappointing. There was dust on the ceiling fans, the shower didn’t drain properly, the floors were dirty, the washer was rusty, and we even found a live cockroach on the couch. The condo also didn’t match the photos online—the furniture was older and stained, and there were food crumbs left in the kitchen drawers.Despite these issues, we still had a fun and memorable week with our family. The host of the property was very responsive and addressed my concerns in a timely manner. With some improvements to cleanliness and updating the condo to better match the listing photos, this could be a great place to stay.

Amazing stay!

We checked in 3 days after Hurricane Ian hit Myrtle Beach. We were assured that everything was fine and since we were going to be arriving very late this was important. The manager checked in Saturday evening when we hadn’t arrived yet to make sure everything was ok. We told him we would be checking in around 1am and he asked us to let him know in the morning that we had arrived and everything was ok with the unit. We got there and it was so late and our 6 year old wasn’t sure about staying in the room by himself….the baby monitor made this easy for him. When we got up we were so impressed with the unit. The rooms were perfect and each had a touch that made it extra….from the drying rack, to the outdoor equipment, the extremely well stocked kitchen, extra hooks in the bathrooms, fun games and comfortable furniture. Everything was needed. The resort was great and the pools were clean and warm. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Myrtle Beach!

Blue Crab Delight

We stay at Paradise Resort every year and the previous place we would stay at sold their rental property so we had to find a new rental for this year. Boy! Did we hit the jackpot! The place is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Just like the photos! We had one slight issue with the air conditioning and the owners had someone out there that afternoon and it was fixed! Owners very engaged and quick responses. So happy we found this place for our annual MB vacation/daughter’s dance competition.

Family fun!

The condo was beautifully decorated. The balcony was fabulous. It was big enough for the 10 of us to sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze! Would definitely go back. Great restaurants a short drive or Uber away. The beach was clean and you could walk for miles! Had fun watching the dolphins with our binoculars! Elyse was great at responding to my messages and was very nice and responded quickly to my questions.
