Cozy Sand Rd. Apartment next to Tioga State Forest Close to Grand Canyon of Pa

Sand Road Apartment is on a dirt road that passes thru Tioga State Forest. This is a wild area of Pennsylvania. The apartment is constructed and on the second floor of a garage seperat from the owners residence. A carpeted stairway leads to the kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom (shower) . Couples or singles are welcomed at the Sand Road apartment. A nice location to begin many activities from. Hike the trails across the road. Consult the Tioga State Forest map or a local trail guidebook and you will find a variety of beautiful hikes. Head down the mountain to the Rails To Trails bike trail for some flat bicycle riding thru some of the nicest scenery anywhere including The Grand Canyon Of Pennsylvania. Pine Creek nearby offers good trout fishing in the spring or canoeing, kayaking or white water rafting with the outfitters. Lakes nearby offer good fishing in all seasons. You will not be far from the town of Wellsboro. Whether its dining , entertainment (surprisingly good at The Deane Center ), shopping or just sitting on the town green, you balance your stay with a little getting back to civilization. You also have the option of easy highway access (roughly an hour north ) to tour Corning, Watkins Glenn, or the wine country around the Finger Lakes. Golf courses are reasonably close. Also it is worthy to note a number of annual activities held. The "Green Monster" running race passes thru the forest across the road from here in addition to mountain bike races. Driving thru the forest, you may see a variety of wildlife including deer, turkey, bears, coyote (mostly you just hear them at night) bobcats (maybe a fleeting glimpse) and grouse, chipmunks etc. The apartment sets on the second floor of a garage separate from the owners residence. There is a deck to relax on and a fire pit. If you have come on a motorcycle you are welcome to park in the shed over nite. Again , note the apartment is on the second floor. A carpeted stairway leads to the kitchen, living room, bedroom,, bathroom (shower), and laundry room (washer,dryer, and slop sink ).
