4 bedroom 2 full bathroom oceanside beach house located on one of the best neighborhoods in the island.
2 minute walk to a private and secluded beach access.
Shopping Center is 1/2 mile away with a Food Lion and various shops and restaurants.
10-minute drive to the bars, restaurants, and fishing charters of downtown Morehead City and 15-minute drive to historic downtown Beaufort.

Beds: 2 King, 1 queen, 1 full, 1 twin (trundle bed)

Parking: Driveway/carport, room for 4+ vehicles

Amenities: Beach chairs, beach towels, cooler and beach cart included
Each floor has a 65" Smart TV & high-speed Wi-Fi throughout

Full kitchen with oven/stove, microwave, coffee maker, & toaster oven. 2 large outdoor decks with tables, chairs, and a gas grill.

The house is a 2 minute walk to the beach. There is no public parking nearby, so no crowds or fighting for a spot in the sand. Half a mile from Food Lion for easy grocery runs, and 10 minutes will get you to downtown Morehead City for amazing seafood, fishing charters, island tours, and night life.

Rare find at the beach

This place has all the comforts of a beach house in a convenient size and location that was perfect for our small family. We loved the easy, private beach access as well as the local restaurants. Highly recommended!

Home away from home!

We loved our stay here! The hosts were really friendly and made sure we felt welcomed! The beach is a two minute walk and they provided a lot of stuff like beach chairs, towels, etc! We traveled with our three year old and my mother in law and we had the BEST time! Our daughter loved Lusty (dog) we 100/10 recommend! đŸ–ïžâ€ïž

Great getaway!

This was a very relaxing place to vacation at. The rooms were cozy and clean, atmosphere was very relaxing, and owner was very friendly and helpful. Dog downstairs was very chill and friendly. Highly recommend this for a getaway!

Homeaway - a lovely beach house at Atlantic Beach

Homeaway is a lovely beach house at Atlantic Beach. It is not oceanfront but a close walk to the beach. We arrived the beach house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with food. We liked the open floor plan and the two decks. Homeaway is close to a strip mall with restaurants and a food lion. It is a short drive to Fort Macon and Pine Knoll shores aquarium. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Homeaway at Atlantic Beach.

Wonderful Beach House

We had a great time at this house. Short walk to the very private beach. The house had everything that we needed and more. I've never stayed at a beach house that came so well stocked with the basics. Property Manager Vickey was great and responded to all my questions quickly. My group liked this house and wants to go back.

Perfect for a quiet getaway

This was the perfect place for our beach getaway. Very clean and only a short walk to the beach! The kitchen had everything we needed (fully stocked coffee area was a plus!) and the kids loved using the waffle maker every morning. The private beach was very nice and not crowded at all. And having all the beach gear readily available for us was also one of the best amenities. Ben, the owner was very responsive and the dog is very friendly.

A good place to stay


The private neighborhood beach is probably the best thing about this house. It was so quiet. We had nobody within a hundred yards of us on the beach. The apartment is large and well stocked for a few days at the beach they have the right appliances and the coffee bar/snacks were a great touch. Not oceanfront but the deck is a great place to start your day or wind down at the end of the day. Ben and Megi were very responsive and on top of communicating with us. Really nice stay for a laid back couples trip. It’s also really convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Perfect place for a friends weekend!

Would love to stay here again with friends. May not have been quite as conducive with young children, especially with it being on the third level, but we found it perfect for a friends weekend. Very accommodating and great amenities. Great communication. Beds and furniture were clean and comfy. Beach chairs and carts were available, and they weren’t just old, cheap and rusted ones, they were nicer than mine! Greetings from the good doggo were an added bonus.

Charming family-friendly cottage

This place was perfect for my family to visit Atlantic Beach for a long weekend. The location is a short walk to the almost private beach and short drive to restaurants and Food Lion. The host provided all the essentials for our use (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, a coffee bar, linens, beach towels and a beach cart!!). The kitchenette was small but provided everything we needed to cook breakfast and lunch each day so we could splurge with dinners out. The basket of snacks was a really nice touch that my son and nephew loved! The beds and couch were really comfortable. One suggestion, add a mirror to each bedroom. With only one bathroom, it would be nice to have an additional mirror to help get ready while someone is in the bathroom. We look forward to returning and would rent this house again.

The Ocean Ridge neighborhood is absolutely the highest quality neighborhood in Atlantic Beach. Quiet and tucked away from crowds and public parking, but a 2 minute stroll to the beach and a 5 minute drive to grocery stores and restaurants.

Almost all our neighbors are full-time homeowners or use their property seasonally only, so the neighborhood has a quiet, residential feel that is perfect for a family or group of friends who are looking for a beach getaway while avoiding the crowds and noise that come with most beach rentals. The house is simple but beautifully decorated with plenty of outdoor space and comfy spots to relax after a long day at the beach.
