Club Cottage 825 (2BR/2BA; 1K, 1D; Sleeps 4) is a cozy duplex nestled amongst the beautiful live oaks and palmettos that Edisto is so famous for. This is the perfect spot for couples or a small family looking for a peaceful getaway. While the second floor is locked off from guest use, the roomy single story floor-plan with comfortable bed arrangements allows for guests of all ages to spread out, but still gather to enjoy a movie or your favorite TV show in the evening. The combination kitchen/dining/living area will have your group sharing laughter throughout your vacation. Enjoy your favorite book or an afternoon cocktail by the large picture windows off of the main living area will give you a front-row seat to abundant wildlife like herons, egrets, deer, and more. Internet access and cable TV will keep you entertained if a brief afternoon shower interrupts your sunny day on the beach. For larger families/groups this duplex is just next to Club Cottage 824 (also managed by Carolina One Edisto) where you can share a ground level patio area, which is perfect for evening cookouts. Rest and relaxation awaits!

Edisto Fall Trip

Great location. Just the right size for us. The only down side I noticed was the carpet was stained pretty bad from previous guests.

Beautiful property, although I was disappointed that there wasn’t a deck in the back just windows that couldn’t be opened. And the the part with the picnic table is kind of down under the house by the cars which isn’t a place I’d want to hang out. Also, although it was very clean, and I didn’t smell mold when I was there, when I came home all my clothes smelled of mold. It has happened before at some beach houses, but not all. I also put away the artificial perfume air fresheners, which were giving me a headache. Maybe they need a real air filter system and also I’ve heard that beeswax candles can actually help with mold in the air, not a complete solution but better than nothing and certainly better than something artificial. I know everything at Edisto is expensive but 1500 for four nights does seem a little excessive.

The large picture windows in the main living area are designed to frame the gorgeous wildlife views that make this setting so special, and the ground level patio area is noted as the primary outdoor gathering space - perfect for evening cookouts. We always encourage guests to review the full property description before booking so expectations are well aligned with what the home offers. On the air fresheners, we appreciate the feedback and will share your preference with the homeowners who likely enjoy them. We understand scent sensitivities vary and will take note for future stays. As for the clothing odor, coastal humidity can be a factor in some beach homes, and we do take any moisture or air quality concerns seriously. We have no indication of a mold issue at this property, but we will continue to monitor it closely. Regarding pricing, rates on Edisto Beach during peak summer weeks reflect the demand for a truly unique and unspoiled coastal destination, and we work hard to ensure every property delivers value for the experience. Dump in the woods

First very hard to find at night no lighting , second apartment was filthy carpet had stain all though the house ceiling was peeling dust and dirt on shelves and baseboard no clean supplies do u get the picture !

Richard, We are disappointed to hear that your stay was anything short of enjoyable. The Club Cottage Villas are set within a resort around the Golf Course on the island so there is an abundance of oak trees, Palmetto trees, and other indigenous vegitation. The homeowners have plans to replace the carpet and update some other areas of the condo prior to the coming rental season. Very comfortable for two couples to hang out and relax

We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing we found was that in the ad it advertised 2 queen beds but in the description, it said 1 king and one double. I didn't notice that it was in the written description and not the diagram and we brought down queen bed linens which fit neither bed. We had a great time!
