This property is a gem. The cabins are beautifully kept and provided the perfect setting for our trip. What really stood out, however, was the hospitality; our host, Dale, went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. My mother and I had a fantastic experience and appreciated all the thoughtful touches. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! I will most definitely be returning, bringing the hubby this time!

Host is very responsive and cooperative. A must stay property and the Place is lovely and so close to nature and has a lovely kitchen with all necessary utensils and lovely and cozy bedroom. We had a great time welcoming the new year and would definitely come back during summer.

Two of us traveled with our small dog. No issues with being pet friendly. We found the cabin exceptionally clean! There was, at times, a faint propane smell and we thought it might be leak with the gas grill which we did not use. The bedroom could use a bedside table for the bed side nearest the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and the refrigerator very clean. The steps leading down to the water were very steep….we would not suggest this is a good spot for small children unless they are well attended. The river was beautiful. People next to us were shooting a gun for several hours but other than that, the place was blissfully quiet and peaceful. It is a lovely setting. Bring bug juice for the mosquitos. Well worth the price.

We loved our stay! The hosts were so welcoming and hospitable. Our whole stay was serene, with views that filled your spirit with calm. Especially loved relaxing on the porch, while watching the gorgeous river scenery. The amenities were spot on. Especially appreciated the gas filled flat top griddle where we grilled most of our meals, from homemade sausage and eggs for breakfast, to our t-bone steaks dinner. A charcoal grill in also available. Loved our visit!

Great peaceful cabin in the woods by the river. The bedroom/bathroom is a little separate from the kitchen/bunk building- too bad for us it rained most of our stay so we didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoors & porch so much. Appreciated the comfortable king bed. Dirt road out to the cabin was muddy but quite driveable even with lots of rain.

Cozy little getaway

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was beautiful and very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. The Blackstone was perfect for our little dinners on the patio & the view was amazing. I wish the water would’ve been warm enough for us to get in with the dogs, but thankfully we were only 20 minutes from White Lake/Goldston Beach & we were able to go swimming and find some restaraunts. We will definitely be staying here again.

Anniversary getaway

The place was absolutely perfect and cute as pie!! We loved the two buildings and we had just about everything we needed to cook a delicious dinner!! Would highly recommend and will be visiting again!
