COZY Bellaport Cottage at White Lake/ Pet Friendly: Quick walk to the Lake

A very cozy 4 bedroom 2 bath 1800 sq. ft. Lake House at White Lake in Elizabethtown, NC. The house sits feet from the lake and the community dock. The rental includes an enclosed front porch/mud room with wrap around windows and has 2 separate living units and 3 flatscreen TV's with Cable/Internet. There is a pool table and a screened in porch. Beautiful knotty pine walls and ceilings. Private street with a private community dock. The end of the dock faces west to capture breathtaking sunsets.

We provide 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We have 2 Queen beds and 2 Full Beds. Our first living room has a large couch and 2 oversized leather chairs for seating . We provide a large 65 inch ROKU Smart Flatscreen TV on the wall above a cozy faux fireplace . Towards the back of our home we have a large gameroom with a pool table, extra living room and electric fireplace that acts as a TV Stand for our Flatscreen ROKU Smart TV. We have a patio for grilling and a large screened in back porch where we provide great seating and a propane fireplace.

Fantastic time with family, very clean, stayed nice and cool inside, nice beds to sleep in, short distance, great and friendly neighbors, we all enjoyed the pool table and games. The Host were very nice and made sure our time there was good.

Peaceful

We loved it. It had more room than we thought and we loved that it was fully stocked so we could cook and not have to get everything. Perfect neighborhood and very peaceful. We loved the pier and how close it was. All of us wanted to stay longer. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us to make our vacation special. We also loved the neighbors cat. He was so loving.

Short get away

Cozy cottage, plenty of space for 3 adults and 2 teens. There were 2 tv's. Teens were able to watch tv at one end of cottage and adults at the other. The pier was a short walk and no beach area. Neighbor across the street was very friendly and offered to help with anything we needed and even offered to share his floats and beverages. My mom is 80 years old and we were told we could drive our car to the pier for her. Overall, we had a great time! Nice and relaxing. Weather was great!

Wasn't safe for Black guests

Within 5 minutes of beginning to fish on the pier, a woman approached my son (who is Black) and said, "Excuse me, you don't belong here!" He told her his mom had rented the cabin for a few days. The woman then asked if he had a fishing license (he did), and re-stated that "you don't belong here". He left in frustration and with a fear of her calling the police. She "guarded" the pier watched him until he went into the cabin, which made him even more fearful that she might send someone to harass him, his 6 year old daughter, his sister and me, his 70 year old mother. We left less than 3 hours from the time we arrived.

Amazing Time

The property owner communicated throughout the entire process. The property was clean, included extras, and felt so homely. We enjoyed the back porch, cooking on the propane grill, the pool table and the space. The hot water heater was superb for 4 adults and 2 teenage boys. The neighbors were friendly and kind to us while we were there and even included us on the pier in their activities. We would love to stay over and and over at this property! The owners and the property exceeded all of our expectations.
