The host was great with communication, letting me know how to check in and get settled in. The room was as described and was exactly what I needed. There were a few small issues that arose and the host said he would fix them at a later date. Would totally stay here again.

Perfect Location

The property was clean and as described. We enjoyed our stay. The location was in a quiet neighborhood and near a lot of the places we wanted to explore. Matt was communicative and I appreciated him wanting to ensure we had a great stay!

Weekend Stay

Perfect for what we needed for a short stay. We didn’t plan to use the pool so can’t comment on it. There is a pod type coffee maker so bring pods. Really good location and very quiet.

Nice neighborhood. Close to restaurants/conference/highways. Mini-fridge was great to have. Microwave would be a nice addition. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but great option to have!

Great location

My wife and I live in Ventura California, but my family is in Scottsdale and I have great friends in Surprise. This location is perfect. The room was comfortable and clean. Could use a coffee maker and towels hooks for the shower. I highly recommend.

It was simple and sweet

The VRBO house is a small simple studio connected to the house. The home owners where super nice and just open for any kind of help needed. The swimming pool was nice. The bathroom was nice. The bed was super comfy and the pillows also. The bedding was super soft. Loved it. I'd stay here again no problem.

I left a note for the owner with a few suggestions. Just little things like letting guests know about the heating system. Larger coffee cups for the Keurig, when the pods arrive. And a light outside of the door so guests can see to put the key in the door.

Sweet little place

We arrived late, was easy to find and check in. Comfortable bed, hot shower, very clean place. Pool area was nice to do some computer work, smell the orange trees blossoms and listen to the birds... Owners were very accommodating and responsive to our needs. Location was perfect for us to visit places of our trip goals. All the shopping and food, such a breakfast and take outs just around the corner. Airport 15-20 min away. Fine dining places 25 min drive. Definitely, we'll stay again.

Nice but no pool

While the casita itself had the basics we needed for our stay - comfortable bed, fridge, great location, we were very disappointed that the pool was not available as advertised. It was one of the reasons we chose this spot over others, and the weather was hot while we were there. I'd recommend communicating with the owner about what is actually available during your stay.

Not what we expected

The toilet was backed up and overflowed on our arrival. Owner informed us that a Plumber was coming and we stayed awake until 11:00 pm, but the plumber did not show up. The plumber came in the afternoon of the 2nd day. The casita smelled like sewer for several days. We offered to go to a hotel but it was late and we thought the plumber was coming. We felt the owner should not have charged us for the first day. The shower is tiny and there is very low water pressure so it was difficult to rinse the soap off our body. No microwave. No hair dryer. The bedspread was dirty. The pool was unusable because it was so dirty. There are almost no utensils to eat with. The coffee maker did not warm up the coffee. The location is good and the neighborhood was quiet.
