Our three generation family vacation was enjoyed by all. Kayaks, games, swimming, sitting on the beach reading or just enjoying the view, there was something for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and the play room was great for the children.The sunsets were spectacular!

This property was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our extended family of 13. The view when we first walked through the door was just breathtaking and set the tone for an amazing week. We loved the large kitchen that allowed us to all cook together, the kids enjoyed the lillypad and all learned to kayak. We all agreed this was one of the best family vacations yet and this house and the beauty of northern Michigan now holds a special place in our hearts.

We loved this house! It met all of our needs with all of our families coming together to stay for the week. The house had EVERYTHING you could possibly need! The kitchen was well stocked, the outdoor items were a plus, the hot tub was a hit and being just steps away from the beach was awesome! We took day trips to Mackinac Island, Petosky, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs. We found many good restaurants, breweries and shops in all the towns! Thank you Jill for opening up your beautiful home for others to enjoy! I would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Great place on the big lake!

This was our 6th year at this property and we have never been disappointed. Our family is large with a wide range of ages. The house is beautiful, wonderfully equipped and of course the lake is just a few steps away. We never have to leave the property. Everything we need is there. Our hosts are most accommodating and responsive. Many forever memories have been made here.

A relaxing vacation

My second stay here with my family (10 total) and it is by my far may favorite place to stay. Everything about the house is great; location, fully equipped kitchen for meals with a big group, plenty of comfortable room for everyone to have their own space, available toys for all ages, everything you need for a beach day and pretty much everything you need for a great vacation week. House is clean, well maintained and relaxing. Communication with the owner is easy with fast responses. I booked another week next summer before I left.

Family Togetherness

Our family has rented a lake house a week during the summer for the past 14 years - my purpose was to get us all under the same roof, living in comfort, for more than a week-end. We come from Michigan, North Dakota, California, and Arkansas (added more recently) so we do not get together without making plans ahead of time! We have stayed in 4 big houses on Lake Michigan and 1 on Lake Charlevoix. All were good experiences; this was our 5th stay at this house and we felt like we were really at home,! Enough bedrooms and bathrooms, a kitchen with everything we needed, Lake Michigan and the surf so close, the deck, games, lake toys, Petoskey and Harbor Springs shopping, a day trip to Mackinaw Island - it all worked well for us - memories galore.

Beautiful Home near Harbor Springs

Jill’s home was the perfect spot for our large family with lots of kids. Plenty of space and property was in very good condition. It is right on the lake with access to kayaks to take on the water. The home is a short drive to some great restaraunts (Pond Hill Farm, Legs Inn) and not too far from Harbor Springs. I would highly recommend this place.

Good Hart

Our stay at Good Hart was fantastic. We had 3 generations and the accommodations were perfect. There were plenty of toys for all ages and we were able to enjoy our time together as well as exploring the area during the week. The kitchen was very well stocked and we enjoyed our meals together around the large dining table. Definitely a five star rating!

Family vacation

Beautiful, very clean, home that had spacious bedrooms/bathrooms for our family of 17. The view of Lake Michigan was stunning! Access to the beach was wonderful. We enjoyed using the kayaks and other beach toys and basically had the beach to ourselves. It was an easy day trip to Mackinac Island from this location. Our family would definitely come back to enjoy this home and area again. Thank you!

Family Vacation

This property was absolutely perfect, and the views/sunsets were simply breathtaking! Most importantly, the house was spotless! We spent a large amount of time on the beach with our 6 adult children. There was plenty of sand to easily play games on the beach. There were also loads of beautiful rocks along the shore, if you are a rock hound. We found some beauties! We saw only a handful of people at the beach, over the entire week. It truly felt like we were the only ones there! Thank you for making this special vacation extra perfect! I highly recommend this beautiful vacation home!

Wonderful week

We had an absolutely wonderful week. We expected a great place from the listing and pictures
..and our expectations were met and much more.3 generations Plenty of private space yet great gathering spaces—perfect layout for a big family. The paddle board, kayaks, hot tub and tons of games and puzzles were used and appreciated.the host was easily accessible for questions. . Extras in the kitchen and baths just felt so welcoming. Magical week in Good Hart

Our far-flung family loved our week at this beautiful property, enjoying sunset dinners, walking the beach and playing in the water. We found a well stocked kitchen with every gadget you can imagine and cupboards stocked with spices and cooking oils. The living space and bedrooms were comfortable and fresh. There’s a lovely stone stairway with lighting down to the beach for evening stargazing and plenty of beach chairs and water toys. Truly a magical spot and the host was very responsive to all our questions.

Amazing home!

This lake is really great!

The house is on a beautiful stretch of beach with gorgeous views from the bedrooms as well as from the deck. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The screened in porch was a great spot for morning coffee. The area is beautiful and close to some wonderful spots to explore. The house has been well cared for and is well stocked with everything you need to get started. We all look to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. The games and toys are in good condition and there are plenty of them to keep the whole family busy and happy. We especially enjoyed the lawn games, the lily pad and the kayaks. We enjoyed having the toy room for the kids as well as the spin bike and weights for the adults. The hot tub was enjoyed every day as well as the fire pit and grill. The owner was always available to answer questions. The owner’s manual was incredibly helpful and answered most of our questions. This was our favorite vacation rental home by far and it was so much fun exploring a new area. An added bonus was escaping the Georgia heat.

This is a fabulous home, beautiful beach and well stocked for cooking. Beautiful views. Plenty of toys for kids both inside and outside for play. Close enough to town, golf courses and hiking trails.

Great Place for a Large group or family

This was our 4th year at this property and we have already reserved a week in 2024. The property is very well maintained and well equipped. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, flatware and appliances. Kayaks and yard games are available. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. This property suits us perfectly.

A Great Week

12 of our family gathered for a near-perfect weather week on Lake Michigan! We came from Michigan, California, North Dakota, and Arkansas . . . This was our 3rd time in this house and we found it every bit as good as in the past! The house is comfortable - the kitchen is well designed for several cooks, and pans and utensils are stored in an organized manner as to be easily found. And close enough to the living room area to feel a part of the activity happening there. There were games and puzzles available - and we enjoyed them. We have never felt the need to use the Carriage House room, but would have if 2 or 3 more of our family had joined us. The younger generations enjoyed the water front - the oldest were content to sit on the deck and found it to be a relaxing and beautiful sight. It was a great week.

Our family has been vacationing in the Harbor Springs area for over 20 years and we finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase our long awaited vacation home. We love it here and wanted to share the experience with others. Hiking, biking, sailing, swimming, gaming, skiing, sledding, dining and socializing are a plenty here. Come enjoy our little slice of heaven in heavenly Good Hart. While the property is quite luxurious, it also allows to be used and enjoyed to it's fullest for the young and old.
