With a king bedroom, and 3 double twin bedrooms, the 'Alaska' Cabin at the Alaskan Sunset Cabins is perfect for a large or multi-family extended stay in the Kenai. Our private, quiet property is on the Kasilof coast is centrally located on the Kenai - we are 1 hour from Homer, 2 hours from Seward, and 3 hours from Anchorage. Situated between the Kasilof and Kenai Rivers, this area provides for excellent fishing. This cabin sits on the bluff facing the Cook Inlet and Alaska Range to the west, with a deck porch and massive windows that allow for perfect views of the sunset.

The cabin is in a quiet rural community on Kalifornsky Beach Road. The most noise you will hear is the soft crashing of waves on the beach at high tide, or the occasional sound of a bald eagle stopping by on the bluff.

Nice stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Kalifornsky. Nice open area overlooking Cook’s inlet and the beach in walking distance. Plenty of room for our family of 7. Randy and Juanita were diligent in all our needs. Thanks for a wonderful trip. Mike and Teresa

Due to the remote area of this property. Although it is not VRBO policy you need to allow visitors to contact the owner by cellphone prior to checking in.

Great Birthday Gift

This trip was for husband and friends. They had a great time and caught lots of fish. The fish processing room was a bonus. Looking forward to a return visit.

Excellent Group vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the large house. There was plenty of room and accomodations for three couples. Randy and Juanita were always available and very attentive. The view of the mountains across Cook Inlet was spectacular. All of our group look forward to another stay at the Sunset Cabins.
