'Ft. Walton / Okaloosa Island a récemment été choisie comme la plage n ° 1 en Amérique par les lecteurs de USA Today et sélectionnée pour la 6e année consécutive comme la meilleure plage du sud et la meilleure destination familiale par les lecteurs de Southern Living.

Notre plan unique d'une chambre avec des lits superposés dans le hall peut accueillir confortablement de quatre à six personnes. Cette unité non-fumeurs dans le complexe de condominiums Gulf Dunes est décorée avec goût. Il est situé au deuxiÚme étage (en fait le 3Úme niveau du complexe) et dispose d'un sol en carreaux de céramique, d'un lit king-size dans le maßtre, de lits superposés intégrés et d'un canapé-lit queen. Magnifique vue dégagée sur l'océan depuis notre balcon. Nous avons un lecteur DVD et un accÚs Internet haut débit. Une laveuse et une sécheuse sont également dans l'unité.

L'intĂ©rieur de notre condo a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment repeint. De plus, de nouveaux comptoirs et armoires viennent d'ĂȘtre installĂ©s.

Les équipements spéciaux de la propriété comprennent: 426 pieds de paradis sur le front du golfe, un aménagement paysager tropical luxuriant, un accÚs privé aux dunes avec douche, deux piscines chauffées en saison sur le golfe et des courts de tennis. Le service de plage est également inclus avec chaque location entre le 1er mars et le 31 octobre (2 chaises et 1 parasol).

L'ßle d'Okaloosa est idéalement située à deux miles de Fort Walton, à six miles de Destin et à un mile du nouveau Convention Center.

One of my favorite places to be!

My fiancé and I stayed here for a week. We had everything we needed plus some! Our condo was clean, had a beautiful view of the ocean and also I loved the full wall mirror in the living room. We had a blast and can't wait to come back! We will stay here every time!

Enjoyed our stay.

The condo was a cozy one bedroom condo with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Nice furniture and a nice view from the balcony. Would recommend to anyone looking for a bargain on the beach. I also used the grilling area two nights we were there and it was nice. Make sure you check out AJ's and Stewby's just down the street while you're in town.

Beautiful Condo

Absolutely loved our stay. Perfect location and can't get a better view. We had a couple days of rain but spent time on the balcony and didn't feel like we were missing out. Highly recommend.

Amazing!!

The room was perfect for our stay and had amazing views. Our family loved being just a short walk to the beach and getting to enjoy the outdoor pool. Our room came with complimentary chairs and umbrella for the beach which was great and made for less things that we had to carry. Location was close to everything. We will definitely be back.

Pleasant stay

This was the perfect little condo. The king sized bed in the master was so comfortable. I loved the Jack and Jill bathrooms so that we had 2 toilets when things got tough with 5 of us. The view was spectacular. The only thing I wish the complex had was a bigger pool, but that is no fault of the owner/condo itself. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely view of the ocean. The bed was very comfortable. Handy to have the washer and dryer. Baseboards, top of chair rail black dirt, and between floors and baseboard. The floors had sandy residue when we got there. Under shelf in bathroom very dirty. Spent a lot of time cleaning.

Great Experience!

Room was nice and clean. The only con I would say is the bed was very firm and hurt my back. Could upgrade the TV to a larger one. Both were very small. Everything else was great!

Great location

This property has a great location and is located perfectly. Within the condo unit itself, there were some concerns (ceiling water damage that appears to have been there for a while, broken drawers, not enough silverware, 3 clothing handers in the closet, overall the unit felt dark - needs additional lighting throughout. Ceiling dusk and what could have been mold or mildew.). I would stay at this property again, just not this specific unit.

Great vacation stay, as usual!

This is our second vacation staying in unit 206 at Gulf Dunes. We enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the area, and feel so comfortable in the condo. Everything is provided for our stay - all kitchen items, bath/laundry, anything we needed was there. The unit was perfectly clean upon arrival. We feel at home when we stay. I do want to commend the people at the other end of the "help line"; I had attempted to change the door code to a more personal one (with instructions clearly written on how to do this being provided), got it all messed up. Made a phone call to the number provided in our welcome packet, and she was able to immediately reset the code. We highly recommend this unit, and we will certainly return for a third stay.

Great experience

Sunset Resort is an excellent way to rent a beachfront condo. I got to talk to actual people during the booking process, and I had to revise my stay more than once and they were nothing but gracious and helpful. They don't nickel and dime you with any fees and you will save money renting through sunset resorts rather than one of the short term rental apps

Perfect Beach Spot for Kids

This was our first time going to the beach with our 2.5 year old adventurous son! The condo’s bunk beds in the hallway were perfect for storing luggage (top bunk) and for our little one to easily find us in the night as it’s located directly next to the bedroom. Having a kitchen, washer & dryer, and a place to go recoup after long beach days was essential for our toddler and us! The room came with chairs via beach service; those boys worked hard the entire 7 days we were there. The pool was the perfect reprieve from the beach. The location on the water had beautiful clear tides and was close to many great restaurants in walking distance whether it be from the beach or the road. Honestly if you are a a family of 3-4 this condo could feel full quickly, especially with kiddos leaving things about, but the pullout couch and balcony offered more comfortable attributes to the condo. The room is located in front of the elevator - which we were not bothered by. I would definitely consider staying again next time around!

Almost Excellent

The location of the property can't be beat—Gulf beachfront with the view of that dreamy emerald blue water. However, there were multiple times that cigarette smoke wafted onto my balcony as I was trying to enjoy the view. There is a no smoking policy but evidently some guests staying at the property feel this rule doesn't apply to them. Also, there is a shuttered window in the bedroom that still allows light in at night and I couldn't find a way to shut out that light to get a good nights sleep. Loved the water hoses on the beach walkway to rinse off the sand and also the umbrella and beach chairs were promptly set up each morning. Staff was very courteous and other guests I encountered were friendly.

This unit is perfect for two people! My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much. The view is great, we watched dolphins playing each morning. We were there the second week of January, hardly any people, very peaceful.

2nd visit in this unit - great views!!!

This was our 2nd time in this unit, but 5th time at Gulf Dunes. Stay was comfortable like usual, however this visit was a little worse for wear when one bathroom's 4-bulb vanity light only had 1 working bulb and the over-the-toilet shelf in the other restroom was leaning like the Tower of Piza. The carpet in the bedroom was heavily stained since last visit (2019). I think it'd be a good time to do upgrades. I love the new building exterior color scheme (grey with blue/white/tan accents). This unit is directly in front of the elevators which makes going in/out with bags very easy. In this visit, out of all visits, we were lucky to see from the balcony and be in the ocean with dolphins and dozens of sting rays. My mother and her partner go to the fishing pier that's a few buildings down and spend 2-3 days catching enough fish to fill the freezer! Once they caught tuna, but usually its spanish mackerel. We will continue to return to Gulf Dunes when vacationing in the Florida panhandle.

Great View and with beach chairs included!

This is a great unit! We always love having a good view of the ocean! This unit comes with 2 beach chairs and umbrella at certain times of the year which is an added bonus. This is the 3rd year that we have stayed in this unit and it has always been nice and clean. We are both OCD so that is very important to us. It also has 2 bathrooms which is good for us as we go out a lot a night and both need room to get ready. I highly recommend this unit!!
