Enjoy this beautifully updated ground floor 1 bedroom 1 bath King bed in master, bunks and comfortable memoryfoam queen pullout! Waters Edge condo complex is situated on the snow-white sands of Okaloosa Island. The emerald green waters are a feast for the eyes and the wide open beach is a beautiful expanse for exploring or relaxing to the sound of the surf.
PLEASE NOTE - This unit does not offer a water view as it is on the ground floor; however, it is only steps to the pool and beach entrance!

Great location — the beaches here are wonderful. Nice pool area. Appreciated having a W/D to keep up with laundry. Comfy bed and nice shower. There were only two of us, but bunks looked fun for little ones. Excellent communication with our hosts. I would stay here again if the opportunity arises.

This is a great little condo. It was clean, nicely decorated and was well equipped for what I needed for a monthlong stay. The only negative was that it didn’t have a view of the beach. However, with that being said, it had a patio that was pretty private with a grassy area for sunbathing. The very short walk to the pool was nice and the trash shoot is close too. The pool was great with bathrooms on both ends. Chair service on the beach started March 1st and was included with the condo which was a really nice benefit. The owner was always available for questions. It’s a great place to stay!

Repeat visitors. Lovely condo. Beautifully decorated and immaculate. Fully stocked with everything you could need. Quiet atmosphere, on the end of the building. Owners respond immediately. I am giving 3 overall stars because both visits we had issues with the door locks. We were locked out both visits, even though there were new locks on the 2nd visit. If my phone had been inside the condo, we would have had no way to even contact owners about getting back in. I feel like it might be related to spotty wifi.

For that reason, we intentionally provide two secure access options for every guest: a smart lock with a personalized code and a physical backup key stored in a lockbox. Both access codes are sent to guests prior to arrival so they are available from the start of the stay. The physical key is provided as a safety backup in the rare event a smart lock cannot be used, such as connectivity or device-related issues. While needing to use the backup key can be inconvenient, it ensures guests are never without a way to enter the condo. We appreciate this feedback as it helps us continue to improve communication and guest confidence. We remain committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and worry-free stay for all future guests and are always just a message or call away if assistance is needed. We understand your thoughts on the pool. While one of the two beachside pools is heated during the cooler months, it’s typically maintained around 78°, which is standard for beachfront properties. During the winter on Okaloosa Island, when air temperatures are often in the 50s and 60s and there’s frequently a breeze off the ocean, that 78° water can feel less warm than some guests expect. Many people associate a “heated” pool with hot tub levels—usually around 100°—so there can be a noticeable difference, especially with an outdoor, oceanfront pool where cooler air and wind contribute to heat loss. A hot tub would certainly be a nice addition during the winter months! We’re so glad you still had a wonderful stay overall and were able to relax and enjoy your time at the beach. Kitchen fully equipped. Host let us know we could reach out about checking in early and that was huge! They were responsive and very friendly. Parking was easy and so close to where we stayed! No direct views- but so close to walk and get to the beach that we didn’t mind one bit! Using the chair/umbrella service was super easy and convenient to help us not have to carry so much! Great place and we’d definitely stay again!

Condo was everything we could have hoped for. Beautifully decorated, clean, fully stocked, convenient and safe location, very reasonably priced and convenient parking. As stated there isn't a direct beach view, but its just a matter of steps to the heated pool or beach. The included beach chair service is the cherry on top. Owners immediately responded to messages.

We had an amazing holiday weekend! The unit was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The setup was perfect for our family with the bunk beds and the sofa bed. The unit was equipped with everything we heeded and was furnished very nicely. Our little boy really enjoyed playing with some of the cars and trucks in the toy basket! The pools were huge and so nice! Easy walk to the beach and pool area. We will definitely book here again in the future!

Will never be back

Roaches every where, including the room. Little rolly bugs literally cover the floor even after sweeping to the point of we would only wear shoes around , never go bare foot. NASTY! We kept our bags up on shelves for the fear of roaches getting in them. Our porch had broken tile that kept coming off. We frequent Destin and always go to one place , that place was unfortunately booked for this year so we had to go elsewhere is only reason we ended up here and we will never return.

The unit was exactly as described. There is nothing better than a ground floor unit with littles. Tucked around the side with a grassy path was perfect for all of our stuff and toys. We loved sitting out on our patio and letting the kids play. Parking was perfect. Our car was literally 15 steps from the front door. The room had everything we needed and communication with the host was 100/10. Only regret is not booking a longer stay.

Paradise on the beach

Goal was to soak up as much beach as possible and was a success. The umbrella and chair service was great. Be prepared for traffic congestion going anywhere. It will delay you if not prepared for it.

Our family has loved vacationing on the Island over the years and with family members living on the island we decided to take the plunge and buy a place of our own so we could spend more time there together.

Welcome to the Emerald Coast on Okaloosa Island just 6 miles from Destin!

Waters Edge boasts one of the largest pools on the island! Heated year round, and right on the beach. Recently added to beach access point #4 which is located just to the right of our building is a marine reef 150 yards of the beach, great for snorkeling or scuba!
