Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed during our stay and even more. My family enjoyed the firepit during the evening and firewood was even provided. Ron was very quick to respond to all emails.and provided great directions to the cabin. We will definitely book the cabin for all our future visits to the area. Thank you Ron for being a great host.
We loved how close the house was to Sam A Baker State Park. We had a lot of fun swimming all day and coming back to the house for roasting hot dogs and making sâmores. Very comfortable and clean place.
We really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is amazing to be able to enjoy all Sam A Baker State Park has to offer yet still have your privacy for a fire in the evening.
Cabin was clean, well stocked, and had everything needed for our stay. Location is great, right next to the state park, but secluded and private enough that you won't be bothered by anyone else. Communication with the host was perfect. Would definitely recommend this cabin if you're visiting the area. We'll be back for sure.
This was a great getaway. Everything was in good clean condition. No problems. The location was perfect. All who stayed loved it and want to come back. Thanks for everything.
This cabin is absolutely Perfect. It is actually Better than the photos. It was a perfect private quiet spot with every thing you need. Easy check in/out process, Ron was a great host & very responsive and spot on with his directions. Donât follow your GPS, follow Ronâs directions. We would absolutely come back.
We had a wonderful visit. The cabin had more than enough room for our family and was well stocked with all that we needed to make our trip enjoyable. The host was prompt with communication and made the entire process easy.
This cabin is in a great location, right next to the park and walking distance to a fantastic swimming spot in Big Creek. The fire ring and firewood was great for s'mores and we enjoyed having access to a grill and laundry! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes and all rooms were clean and well organized.
Excellent stay, highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay near floating rivers and state parks!
This was the perfect place for our family to stay during our weekend trip. Ron was a great host providing clear instructions from checkin through checkout. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.
This is a nice property the cabin was clean you had all the necessities you need there it was quiet & peaceful. The host Ron was so easy to talk to.I differently recommend this property
This property is located in a beautiful location, close to river access. The house inside was wonderful & super clean, we were all impressed with it, the property is very private so you donât have to worry about other people. I Highly recommend this for your next stay!
My reason for being in the area was to hike. The location was central to the trails I wished to visit. The older home has been updated inside to afford all the comforts of home. The appliances were essentially new. Those of us that slept on the queen beds both commented after one night ...better than what we were sleeping on at home.VERY nice! The bathroom was most adequate...lots of good towels and plenty of hot water! The amenities were as advertised and most sufficient for our stay. The owner may want to consider an upgrade to the furniture for lounging in the future....some what spartan seating if you chose to be inside for some reason. .That suggestion aside, our family lacked nothing during our stay. This property is adjacent to Sam A Baker State Park. You could not ask for a better location. The pictures of the surrounding area may not do it justice, If you are considering staying in a cabin or the lodge in the park.....do yourself a favor and look here first. The setting is serene tranquil and just lovely .Thanks for sharing Ron!
Cute cabin right outside Sam A Baker State Park. We had family staying in their RVs and tents in the park. We donât camp so booked this cabin. It was perfect for our stay. Just a few minutes drive from the campground. The cabin was clean and spacious and appeared to be recently renovated. It was fun browsing the decor with all the antiques. The cabin had everything we needed. The grounds were a pleasant surprise with the antique steam engine and buildings. And the cows. So fun looking for them each day. One morning they were right outside our bedroom window! The host was quick to respond to our questions before we left and provided any needed info since there is very limited phone service once you get there. The only recommendation would be to maybe have a paved walkway from parking to door but definitely not a deal breaker. We would definitely stay hear again when in the area.
We celebrated my daughterâs 21st birthday here! We did a float trip at Sam A Baker Park.
This property is beautiful! Very clean & accommodating. The host texted detailed instructions before arrival which was very helpful! We enjoyed watching the cows & relaxing by the fire pit at night.
Itâs literally just a few minutes from Sam A Baker Park. We will definitely be back!
The cabin was very roomy and nicely stocked with everything we needed. Host was at his residence a couple days during our stay and was very nice and helpful. If you need a cabin near Sam Baker, this is a great choice.
Property was super clean and spacious. We were able to blow up a full size air mattress and still had plenty of room. We appreciated the tips on directions and Cell service from the owner.
Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children cabin is located right at northern entrance to Sam baker and just short distance from big creek, great location for anyone wanting to make use of the park
We rented this cabin for our adult children and their spouses while we stayed in our RV at Sam A. Baker state park. It was so clean! Tons of room, and sits on quiet, beautiful property. Five minutes from the park. Just perfect!
We enjoyed our stay at Spring creek cabin, We had everything that we would need. Also a huge plus, itâs right down the road from big creek, which we really liked. It was peaceful and quaint, we will definitely have to come back soon.
This place was a perfect location for a weekend getaway with a friend. We spent our days in the park hiking and kayaking, and our evenings we had quiet dinners and enjoyed the firepit. Ron answered my questions prior to arrival and left us a trail map so we could plan our hikes.
This cabin was perfect! We were looking for a place to do some nighttime sky photography. It's in a very dark area, so the skies were perfect. The cabin is comfortable and well stocked - it's out of the way, very peaceful and secluded on a peaceful property with nearby cows, a cute little bridge over a stream, a barn and steam engine. There is a firepit for sitting outside at night and enjoying a cozy fire. The owners communicated very well and everything was provided that we needed. Sam A Baker park is practically right next door and there is a lot to do there. Piedmont is just south about 20 minutes where you can get anything you might need and Clearwater Lake is just the other side of Piedmont. If you're looking for a great little place to relax, book this one. You won't be disappointed.
We went because it was my GFs birthday and wanted a relaxing Get A Way that wasn't too far from home. It literally borders Sam A. Baker State Park. So close, that I passed the driveway because I saw equestrian trails on one side of the road and didn't think we had left the park yet. We would have had plenty of room in the cabin for another couple in the other bedroom, and some kids on the living room futon. It had everything we needed and we cooked most of our meals in the nice fully furnished kitchen. Sat around the camp fire one night, and cooked ribeyes on the gas grill the next. We also spent a day hiking a small portion of the trails at the state park. It is a guest house on the owners part time property and farm. They happened to be on the property at times, but left us completely alone to enjoy our stay. Except if I ran them down for a question. We had the quiet and seclusion away from the state park campers and traffic, and the security and comfort of being at this private property.
