Une véritable expérience de nature sauvage américaine avec une solitude totale. La cabane à Black River View se trouve sur 27 acres et offre la meilleure vue dans le sud-est du Missouri au cœur des monts Ozark. Surplombant la rivière Noire et sur le site du point culminant du Missouri, vous n'aurez aucun voisin avec un isolement total et calme, sauf pour entendre les rapides rapides ci-dessous. Récemment construite en 2016, cette cabine ultramoderne a tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour divertir votre famille et vos amis. Situé sur une falaise près de la forêt nationale de Mark Twain, il a accès à des milliers d'hectares de sentiers de randonnée, de chasse à cheval, de VTT, de 4 roues et de VTT, mais la principale attraction est la rivière. Une eau cristalline alimentée par des sources avec un fond rocheux que vous pouvez voir à 12 pieds au fond, la rivière Noire est une rivière douce qui fait du canoë, du kayak, des tubes et du paddle board une expérience agréable. Les attractions locales incluent les Ozark National Scenic Riverways, Johnson Shut Inns, Clearwater Lake, Elephant Rock State Park et Sam A. Parc d'État de Baker. À seulement deux heures et demie de St. Louis.

We loved the view from overlook cabin. Cabin was clean and cozy. Follow directions property manager sends you because gps will try to take you on a scavenger hunt but this was my fault. Accessing river a sxs or 4x4 definitely needed due to river being up. Very peaceful setting at river and cabin.

The Best Cabin!

Pictures on line do not do the cabin justice. It is way nicer in person. View to the river is incredible. We highly recommend renting. I know we will be back. Jeff is a great host who provides any and all information you request. Last minute perfect getaway for Thanksgiving!

Ozark Mt Getaway

We’ve stayed in this area and Current River before and if you want seclusion this is your spot. All the luxuries of home but in the middle of nowhere. Side by side or four wheeler is almost a requirement. Average truck would not make it all the way to the river. Great hosts and property manager. Cabin view is second to none.

New Definition of "Getting Away"

Lovely facility which my 7 year old niece described as being in the middle of nowhere. Was perfect for the six adults and three children who gathered there to see the total solar eclipse--which we did get to see. Situated so that we didn't see the on site owners or their guests. On arrival it was clear the place had not been vacuumed for a while (lots of dead lady bugs) and a couple other minor maintenance things, which I shared with the property manager. Fantastic setting, lovely place.

Amazing seclusion

Off the grid feel with all of the amenities of home! Really cool property, had fun shooting and hiking and teaching the grandparents how to "offroad" down to the river!!! Enjoyed by the entire family. Its about 50mins to Johnsons shut ins but still a very doable day hike trip. Would lovw to return!!

Secluded off road and river vacation

Had a great time at the cabin. This will be our 4th stay and we will definitely be back. AC and ice machine worked great. Rode ATV's all over, floated the beautiful Black River and enjoyed the view. Best rental property in southeast Missouri imo.

A great house for our family

Lovely Stay!

This was our family’s second time staying at the cabin. We love being able to enjoy the comfort and amenities of the cabin while being in such a remote location. I could sit on the porch and stare out at the view all day long. It’s a super special place!

Perfect cabin to unplug & recharge at.

It took us 3hrs to find our cabin. We expected the long travel from TX to Missouri but we didn't anticipate it taking us 3hrs to locate the cabin after arriving. My husband, son and I all reached out to Jeff, the property manager, for help with no response. Finally when he did answer he hung up on us with never reaching back out to us or answering our calls. We did finally find the cabin with the help of our son's navigation skills. Once arriving we are hit with another problem, no working air conditioner or ice machine... Luckily for us the owner, Tim, was there and worked his tail off to get it fixed. Our 1st night was pretty warm with only using fans, Tim supplied for us. We also had a bag of ice in the freezer since no ice machine. Tim was fantastic and we greatly appreciated the lengths he went to to make our stay enjoyable after learning all we had been through. The AC was back up and running at full capacity on Tuesday. With all this we still had an incredible time! Making memories with our grandson and enjoying family time. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return ourselves one day. THANK YOU, TIM! The Hale family.

Excellent cabin and view

The cabin is extremely nice well thought out and up to date. The view and river are perfect for enjoying summer days and cooling off. The Owners Tim and Deanna are very friendly and accommodating. We will be back soon.

Private ATV and River Getaway

Phenomenal view, great cabin and location

The view alone was worth the booking, we spent mornings with coffee and sunsets just watching clouds roll through the valley because it was beautiful. The cabin itself is very nicely appointed, the photos don't do it justice! Major plus that there's a dedicated icemaker. Access to the river does require a 4wd vehicle to make it easy and quick, at which point the cabin location is really excellent. Walking is possible but the steep grade makes it a chore if that's your only means to get to the river. Excellent instructions for the cabin, lists of things to do and communication from the owner.

Great Place with a Stunning View

We took a float trip to the Black River and stayed here for an extended weekend. It was perfect. The view was absolutely amazing. The pictures can't even do it justice. The cabin was clean, stocked, and well maintained. Even though we spent most of our time outdoors, it was a nice escape from the heat. The canopy and chairs provided were a nice touch. While the cabin is great, it's the location and atmosphere that set this place apart. The cabin is totally secluded with easy access to the river via hike, ATV, or truck (4WD is a must to get to the river). I hiked the trail up and down 3 times and, while it has some steep terrain, if you take your time it's not too bad. All in all, there is nothing I would change about the cabin. We've been taking a yearly float trip for the past 8 years, and this was far and away the best cabin experience. We were all hopeful to visit again.

This is our 3rd time renting this property for an outdoor adventure weekend. We floated the Black River and rode ATVs and UTVs all over the place. This place has so many options for a good time. I see they are building another cabin on the property which should be twice the fun. The pictures of this place never do it justice. We will be back again next year.
