The place in Bandera was very nice . Although small, it was just right for me. I was out more than in, so all I needed was a clean place, AIR CONDITIONING and shower and TV. The cottage satisfied those, and I will definitely book again when I come back on my next trip there. I heartily recommend this to any single traveler, or couples on a budget, as there is a grocery store right across the street from it.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, but we do want to clarify a few points for future guests. Our advertised check-in time is after 3:00 PM. You arrived at approximately 11:00 AM and, although the cabin was not yet cleaned and ready, we made arrangements to have it cleaned and prepared for you as quickly as possible so we could accommodate an early arrival. The property has a brand-new HVAC system, and we personally check the air conditioning before every guest arrives. On the day of your arrival, the thermostat was set to 70° in preparation for your stay. When I arrived after you were locked out, you also confirmed that the temperature inside was comfortable. When you accidentally locked yourselves out, I immediately left San Antonio and returned to Bandera in less than an hour to assist you. I also helped with the lockbox, which had already been used to retrieve the key upon arrival. We take cleanliness and guest service very seriously and work hard to provide exactly what is represented in our listing. This property is a rustic Texas cowboy cabin—not a brand-new hotel—and the photos and description are provided so guests know what to expect before booking. We understand that every guest has different expectations, and while we’re disappointed that the property wasn’t the right fit for you, we appreciate the opportunity to clarify these details for future guests.

Natalie was awesome! Rented as a starting point for a hill country motorcycle ride. Check in was super simple, very clear instructions. House was clean, had plenty of amenities, very quiet neighborhood, zero issues. Plenty of parking for the bike. Walked to the restaurants, super close by. Really appreciated the little things…old school ice trays in the freezer for filling up water bottles for the hot ride! The hot tub was super clean and was great for sore muscles. You can even wash and dry your clothes. Nothing negative about this experience…will rent again!

I surprised my husband for his 60th Birthday! We loved staying here and it was so close to town! Everything was clean and comfortable! Woke up at 12:00 on Saturday night looked out and two deers were in the yard! Just amazing time

Cowboy Comfortable & Convenient

The Cowboy Corner is a clean, cozy, and comfortable stay. It had everything I needed and was close enough to Main Street to walk to some great eats and watering holes. Natalie was super nice and checked in on me every day. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute place -- small but comfortable

We just needed a place to stay while we took a few days off to explore Bandera and the Hill Country. It's cozy and basic, but it was just enough for what we needed. Bed was comfortable. Loved the biker barn, wish we had been on a bike! Natalie was very helpful and responsive.

Adequate

Small room with toilet next to kitchen sink. Clean with old building scent. Wall ac works good, but fan runs continuously. I would stay here again with lowest price in town, but definitely be prepared for out of the ordinary bathroom and ac.

It is a cute little cabin, well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. It’s quiet there, surprisingly so, and is walking distance from the center of town. What I didn’t like was the floor in the place. It’s like trying to get your sea legs, it is so out of level. A pool is in the ad, but no pool, and the biker barn is really a junk barn, can’t get in it due to boxes of old ac’s.
