LAKE COTTAGE on deep water w/ MILLION $$ views! Newly Renovated HGTV style decor

Welcome to Sweetwater Cottage! This adorable 2200 sq ft lake front cottage has all the charm and comforts for a relaxing and memorable getaway. This home has just undergone renovations and updates including new bathrooms, furnishings and decor. We have three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Pontoon boat is NOT included. You may rent your own boat or jet ski from the local Nottely marina.

Bedroom 1: king bed, dresser, two closets, sliding doors to porch with lake view. Master bathroom with new shower and single sink vanity
Bedroom 2: Queen bed, dresser, one walk in closet, sliding glass door to porch
Bedroom 3 terrace Level: bunk beds full over queen, full bathroom and sliding glass doors to outside firepit and lake views.

Main floor has gas fireplace, sliding doors to porch with lake views, sectional sofa and TV wall mounted.

Dining room has table with seating for 6

kitchen: full kitchen stocked with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, oven and coffee pot. Pantry has full pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensiles, blender, sandwich press, wine glasses and bar ware.

Terrace level: washer and dryer, family room with TV, board games. fireplace, sliding doors to outside firepit. Access to garage with fridge and water accessories (paddle board, floats, life vests and chairs)

The lake view from this property is amazing. It felt like being on a lake in Italy. View looks as pictured. Very much enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive.

The cottage interior is comfortable and well stocked.We agree with other recent reviews that the propertywas below the standards we've come to expect from. VRBO. We swept alot of cobwebs from ceilings and walls of back porch and washed the porch floor before using. the space. We would give higher marks because offabulous view, but one can see the property is lacking maintenance from the broken front screen door to theaging washer. A few upgrades like replacing the dirtyporch cushions would go along way to offer your guestsa more pleasing experience.

We loved this lake cottage. The view from the porch was amazing. So relaxing to have coffee in the morning and wine at night! It is a great house for anyone who has teens and the host is super responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Good Trip!

We had a great time here, and really enjoyed the lake and the view. We also enjoyed the paddle boards, and the plenty of board games they had. A previous review had stated something about the overall cleanliness of the place, and I was concerned. Unfortunately I would have to agree with that review, as the cleanliness of the place was subpar in my opinion. The communication with the host was great, and overall was a good trip!

Wedding Week in the mountains

The property itself was a great setup for a fun and relaxing week, with plenty of amenities to keep everyone entertained. However, I was disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the home—it didn’t meet the standards I would expect from a rental of this type. Additionally, I left several articles of clothing in a drawer, including a few pairs of pants and a jacket. I notified the property manager the following day as soon as I realized, but was told they could not be found. Given how clearly the items were left behind, it was frustrating and disheartening to receive no resolution. This experience, unfortunately, put a damper on an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Lake Life!

Our family of 5 (with 2 teenagers) had a great time over Easter Weekend. It was lovely waking up to lake views every morning, hanging out at the dock during the day, and sitting around the fire pit at night. Great setting. Great location. Great views. Great house!

Fantastic

I chose the property for its proximity to Atlanta. Just needed a getaway and wasn't expecting much. Laura's home was phenomenal. It was immaculate, the kitchen made me want to cook a Sunday dinner. It has all the best cookware. The bathrooms have all been renovated and there's a game for everyone in the group. The outside just gets better. The firepit was great and the dock was even better. It was equipped with kayaks, stand up boards and a jet ski dock. We can't wait to return.

Wonderful Lake House

Was excited to spend a long weekend with family at the lake and this home did not disappoint!!! It was exactly how it was described! Beautiful home with breathtaking views of the lake on all levels. Easy instructions for checking in and out. The home was equipped with everything you could possibly need to feel right at home. Definitely will be making a reservation again at this lake house. You will not be disappointed!!

Very comfortable, more than satisfactory for our short term needs. Ample drawer and closet space. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Blairsville visiting family. Property owner, Laura, was wonderful to work with.

Peaceful and quiet

We enjoyed our stay at the lake house. We have 3 active boys and the paddle boards and kayaks kept them entertained most of the time. The house is located close to stores and restaurants. We saw lots of deer in a neighborhood close to the house. The house is clean and has a well stocked kitchen. The host is quick to reply and answered all questions promptly. I highly recommend!

Wonderful Family Getaway!

Beautiful and comfortable home inside and out! Our host provided so many nice touches to welcome all of us, dogs included! We enjoyed the beautiful view, kayaks, porch swing, outdoor games, fire pit, and comfortable outdoor seating. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking all sorts of meals. Appreciated the little labels everywhere so we didn’t have to hunt for things or figure out light switches! Bedrooms were comfortable, extra blankets were great. Bathrooms had everything needed, including robes! So much thought went into making this home a relaxing place for all of us to enjoy!

This property was well appointed, clean and comfortable in every way! Laura is the best host too....we got terribly lost (gps sent us to some not so nice cabins) and Laura calmed me down and talked us through directions until we arrived. We had a wonderful stay and already talking about booking again!

Lovely home and view

We enjoyed this property fully. Beautiful home, great location and view. The water was a little low, but that is just due to time of year. Home was very clean and well stocked! Quick response from property manager when I had a question. Will definitely stay here again!

Grandkids spring break

Visiting from Florida...our grandkids wanted to go to Blairsville oer their spring break. They all had a great time! Sweetwater Cottage offers all you need! Loved there was all kinds of cooking appliances/bake dishes/grill/air fryer ect!

Lakeside Paradise

Absolutely gorgeous property and a beautiful community. It was just my husband and I with our pup but there was plenty of room for families or other couples to stay. We had so much fun paddle boarding on the lake and lounging on the huge raft. Tons of water toys and the house had anything you could need. We had morning coffee on the porch and wine by the fire pit at night. Perfect getaway!!

Absolutely Incredible

Our family just returned from an absolutely amazing week at the lake. This house is everything the listing says it is, and more! The house is well appointed, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and the view is unmatched. Laura is incredibly responsive and wonderful to work with. We can't wait to come back next year!
