Pristine and sparkling clean, light & bright, and airy. Very relaxing and very private property.
Fully furnished, including Fiber Optics internet WIFI with speed of one GBPM, DirecTV, and air-conditioning, in addition to the efficient Evaporative-Water-Master-Cooler and ceiling fans. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of privacy for sharing your stay with friends and family--since Master suite is on one side of the house and the other bedrooms are on the other side of living quarters. Large pond and running streams in the backyard.

Fast Charger, 240 Volts, 50 AMP, for Electric Vehicles.

Note-1: Absolutely no pets and no smoking inside the house. No exceptions and strictly enforced. I have severe medical allergies to pets. Service animals MUST be declared prior to reservation/booking.

Nice spacious bungalow

We loved staying in this spacious clean bungalow. Everything you need is provided and it's in a peaceful area near to all Bishop has to offer. A great place to stay for hiking the surrounding area.

Love this house!

Our second time staying here and this is still the best house we've ever rented. Super organized, very homey, very responsive host, lots of space inside and outside and very convenient location for our needs. I hope to stay here again in the future!

Great house, comfortable beds

We had a wonderful time for our two-night weekend stay. The beds were comfortable and the house was spacious The kitchen was just about the most well-stocked kitchen I've ever had in a rental. The kids love the backyard, and we all loved watching the ducks visit the pond in the backyard.David was a very responsive host, and between him and the book in the house, I had all the information I needed for my stay.

Clean, cool and well provisioned. Our stay in Bishop was everything we hoped for and more. The home was spacious, clean, and had every tool the home cook would need. The swamp cooler with interior fans kept the house cool and comfortable while outside was a blazing 97 degrees. A bonus was the backyard and pond that was home to two families of ducks and a multitude of dragon flies that kept us entertained.

Great base camp for Bishop

A nice, relaxing spot near all the beauty that Bishop and the Sierra have to offer. Love the size of the backyard with the pond and the weeping willow. Always made for a chill morning coffee. Lots of space, well maintained and the owner was extremely attentive. We’d do it all over again!

Wonderful place!

We have stayed at many different long stay places over the years and this has been by far the best! At all the other places we've had to buy many things to make the place work, but this house had everything - very well stocked kitchen, several sets of linens, all the drawers were labeled making everything easy to find, plenty of closet space, and much more. It also has a really nice backyard and is on a nice quiet street. Excellent communication with the host as well. 5 stars all around!

Nice home

Clean home in quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen for cooking. Great backyard with pond, stream and ducks. Didn’t get to enjoy the swing much do to cold and wet weather. Great area to go for a run or walk, close to everything without being in downtown area. David was a great host, gave me a call so I could get in a few hours earlier. No problems throughout stay.

Nice House

Nice house, nice host. Oven doesnt work, and there is a tiny toaster oven but it doesnt fit anything like a fish for example. House heats slowly. Wifi is inconsistent with only 3 people. Having more than 4 guests incurs a hidden $25 fee per guest per night, even though the listing says up to 6 guests. I suggest the host to add this fee to the description for transparency. Overall good stay though.

Perfect place!

I have only good things to say -- the house is perfect for an extended stay. Very quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. Host was helpful and made everything easy.

Bought this house as a weekend-home-getaway from Southern California and its close proximity (41 miles) to Mammoth ski area. Winter times, we enjoy Snow-shoeing and Alpine skiing from Cardinal Village/Aspendale to the North Lake. We enjoy hiking and fishing throughout the year in the area. Among our local favorite hikes are:
Lake Sabrina to the Blue Lake;
North Lake to Paiute Pass;
Valley of Little Lakes (Rock Creek, north of Bishop on Highway 395);
Big Pine Creek hike towards Palisade Glacier.
