Get away from city living and relax lakeside thanks to this 2-bed, 2-bath cabin, uniquely located inside secluded Caddo Bay area. Rent a boat from the marina and spend a day on the water visiting Sandy Beach and Hells Gate, hike nearby trails, or simply enjoy the breathtaking sunset on the porch. Private swim beach area including lounge chairs, kayak, and party pad. Set right on the lake, boasting you’re own private two slip boat dock great for securing the boat or night fishing under the light. The dock is deep and provides great fishing including striper, catfish, and bass. A 36" griddle and kamado style charcoal grill make smoking, grilling, or breakfast a breeze. The large yard is perfect for entertaining with plenty of space for for the kids to run around and play. Inside the State Park (One mile away) has a large boat ramp and any last min snacks, ice, or fuel. The cabin is Located just over 2 hours from Dallas and Fort Worth, this cozy vacation rental promises backyard barbecues and nightly s'mores around the fire pit, no matter where your days take you!

The lake property was absolutely amazing! We plan to return for sure. My only concern was the amount of time VRBO has held my deposit. I know the property manager didn’t turn in damages and meanwhile I’m paying interest on the credit card. I rented the place very early and now they still have not returned my deposit. But the property was amazing, I needed it!

Great secluded getaway

Overall the stay was great. I enjoyed the remoteness of the property. Dock and water access was great. Property could use a deep spring cleaning, but it was good enough. We had a great, quiet family weekend and would happily reserve this property again.

Perfect getaway

This was a perfect fishing spot. Right on the water with a boat dock and pier. Beds were very comfortable as well as the living room furniture. We will be coming back

Lake trip with one of the kids.

So me and 3/5 of the kiddos had an extended weekend trip utilizing this property. We all had an amazing time and had a blast catching fish in the provided dock and boat slip. Everything was as advertised. We did our best not to damage the pool table or the pool cues further. Was a pleasant surprise to find that by staying at this property you also get free access to the PK State Park. Also remember to bring plenty of groceries as you are on the more primitive side of the lake and round trip to town and back with store stops is a couple of hours.

Lake Hideaway

My family’s stay here during Thanksgiving was epic. The house was clean, kitchen is well stocked, which I loved, lots of extra room and beds, kids loved the night fishing and fire pit for smores! Absolutely the best

This is our 2nd time to stay here . We absolutely loved it again . It’s always clean and anything you need is there . Lots of beds as well . The owner is great and responses fast . We love the dock here . We bring our boat and we tie it up .its a big dock so there’s plenty of room for chairs and fishing . We caught so many fish and granddaughter had a blast catching perch . He has the nices ladder at the dock as well . We did bring clip in lights for the walk way just because I’m a scardy cat lol We highly recommend and can’t wait to book again .

Lake getaway

It's everything advertised and so much more. Quite lakefront property. Amazing dock boat launch just a few minutes down the road. Great fishig. We will definitely be back for many for many years to come for a family vacation. Could not have been any happier with our time spent here.

Family Trip Success

The location and outdoor setup was perfect for a family outing. The only negative was the front door which needs a lock replacement. It could use a deep cleaning, but beds and bathrooms were all clean, and we had a great time!

The property needs some updating ad there is no exhaust fan in the kitchen. I assume otgers have have left the door open to ventilate because there was a hugh fly issue when we arrived. We had one surprise in a small snake coming up the drain shower in the smaller bathroom.

PK mini vacation

The view and access to the lake was awesome! Perfect for our 2 older dogs to run and play. As far as the actual house we rented...not so hot. The bed spreads didn't smell clean, the sheets had dog hair and were dark blue, so you had no idea if they were 100% clean. The carpet had stains, you definitely didn't go barefoot. All the cabinets in the kitchen needed to be cleaned, the stove didn't work very good and there was all kinds of food in the cabinets...left from the previous renters? The pool sticks were awful and the foosball table looked like it hadn't been used or cleaned in years. Overall it looked as though people were living here and didn't bother cleaning everything out in order to rent the place out.

**Must Book** Lake Getaway

Spacious living area, large kitchen, comfortable beds and all this 100 ft from beautiful PKL. All in all this stay is a 10! The home is a little dated but clean for being a lake property. It says it sleeps 10 but you could double that number and still have room! The dock is a huge plus (with so many fish swimming around at night) and the WATER is the best lake water I’ve ever been in, besides Hells Gate. We stayed on a float right off the dock and had an absolute blast. Highly recommend this stay to anyone 😄

Enjoyable lake retreat

Our group of family elders loved the location on PK lake, and the clean, well-equipped home. A short, level walk to the water, it has magnificent views of open water and hills. Just bring a suitcase, fishing gear, some food, and you’re set. Our host, Rob, was very helpful and responsive to requests. An older, well-maintained lake house, has had a few updates. The boat dock with a defined fishing area and shaded patio were the favorite spots.

We really enjoyed our stay here . Lots and lots of beds . Very cold Ac , big kitchen and living room . They thought of everything you would need . Very quiet and peaceful. Bed was comfy as well . We have stayed at so many home on Pk and we will definitely stay here again . The dock is amazing . Plenty of room to fish and we brought our boat and tied it off in one of the 2 slips . We had so much fun fishing off that dock and caught alot of fish . Thanks for opening up your home to us . See you again soon

Father of two awesome crazy kiddos. My son can out fish me any day of the week and knows every insect species that walks PK. Been married to my supportive beautiful wife for eight years. She can back a boat trailer better than most. Our family is total lake rats and would live there full time if our jobs allowed. I grew up as a kid coming to PK and spent a lot of time exploring this beautiful lake. My family purchased this home in 1996 and we continue to better the place every year with updates.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The house is older but clean and cozy. The large lot let's you feel like you can breath without neighbors sitting on top of you. If the neighbors are home they are very kind people. The shore line is great for playing and for kids as it gradually drops off. The end of the dock is around 12-14' depending on what time of the year. I try to furnish the house as much as possible and make you feel like you're at home. There is tons of trees behind the house which makes for some great hiking. The state park also has some great hiking trails. The fishing off the boat dock is usually pretty great and the night light really brings them in. We have a second fridge in the garage for extra drinks or food. The WiFi is fast enough for Netflix and for Zoom meetings.

Caddo Bay is a pretty quite area. it does get windy in our area but waves from boat traffic is usually minimum. Which is great if you're trying to swim off the dock or secure your boat over night to the dock. There is a area to ski/wakeboard just right around the corner and you can usually find calm water there. Egg style grill and griddle make grilling, smoking, or cooking breakfast pretty enjoyable. There is very few steps and no stairs to get down to the water.
