Beautiful Boutique New Orleans Loft Apartment, historically renovated in the heart of the Central Business District. This spacious downtown loft features 200 year old exposed brick, original hardwood ceilings & a historical cast iron rope elevator wheel. Come live easy on Magazine Street just one block from the world famous Canal Street & French Quarter Landmarks nearby are the Convention Center, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street, Harrahs Casino. Come check us out we would love to have you!

We get our towels from a linen company. Sometimes the towels might have blotches (i.e., bleach stains, burn marks, or tears). Our housekeeping does their best to ensure there are no hairs in the towels, but if one is found, it's likely from our housekeeping staff. We strive for this to never happen. If you're not satisfied with the linens, please let us know and we’ll gladly swap them out for you. Please make sure to book for the correct number of guests, as linens are prepared accordingly.

When we entered the building, smelled a strong odor that resembled cat urine. Once we entered the apartment, continued to smell the same odor. The apartment itself was awesome...very unique and clean...and great location! Initially had apartment booked for three nights, however, after first night, was unable to tolerate the smell. I had trouble breathing and started having asthma-like symptoms. Odor did not bother my daughter, however, like it bothered me. I do have a history of allergy issues. We left apartment after first night, as I just couldn't tolerate it any longer. Ended up staying at Best Western just down the street and had no trouble whatsoever. VRBO contacted property owner four times, however, they refused to give me a refund. Luckily, VRBO did end up giving me a refund on their end. If you have ANY trouble with allergies or asthma, I would not book this property. I have read that black mold has an odor resembling cat urine. I, however, cannot confirm that building/apartment have black mold, obviously. Property is very old and I did notice black residue all over skylight (should have taken photo).

Unique, clean, comfortable and a great location!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the French Quarter, tons of great restaurants nearby, and the WWII Museum was close too. The space itself was a unique, lofted-style VRBO with tons of old wood charm that gave it a cozy, historic vibe. The host was incredibly responsive and super helpful throughout our stay, which made everything easy and stress-free. Great spot for exploring New Orleans.

Penthouse

Great location. We were able to walk everywhere. The penthouse was beautiful however, I requested an air mattress to be set up and was told the "team" would do that, but it was still in the box when we got to the room. My friend ended up sleeping on the couch the whole weekend. Also, there were old shampoo bottles still in the shower. Other than that, we loved it. Only one bathroom but we never ran out of hot water. Great spot for a girls weekend. I woupd stay at this spot again.

Our stay here was exceptionally memorable

Unfortunately, it is for all the wrong reasons. Check-in instructions were clear and simple, but the "parking on site" was misleading and we ended up paying for parking a block away. On arrival, we noticed a strong odor that worsened on our floor. The laundry room down the hall reeked of urine which worked its way into the apartment. Although the apartment was beautiful, it was overshadowed by a dirty couch, stained lampshades, dirty coffee mugs in the cabinet, and the overwhelming smell of urine. We bought air fresheners, but they only masked the smell. Someone finally cleaned the laundry room on day three, but the smell lingered. The thermostat was locked and hanging off the wall. The troubleshooting instructions were unclear, but we managed to unlock it ourselves. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. Trying to watch TV was frustrating as it disconnected frequently. The beds were overly firm, with one sagging in the middle. Sleeping was terribly uncomfortable. While the host was responsive, they didn’t address the odor or follow up on the escalation they mentioned after we brought up the urine smell twice. On the bright side, the bathroom was clean (the only part of the apartment that DID NOT smell like urine), and the location was fantastic. Most of our activities were conveniently within walking distance. Despite the beautiful design and responsive host, persistent issues left us disappointed. We wish the experience had been different, but ultimately it was 2/5 stars for us.

In NOLA with all the Swifties!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this unit from Saturday 10/26/24 thru Wednesday 10/30/24. We had tickets to the Sunday night Taylor Swift concert. We couldn’t have been happier staying here. Perfectly located and walking distance to the French Quarter and The Superdome. Great communication throughout our stay and the unit was very clean and had all the amenities that were advertised. We are already taking about coming back and staying here again! Thanks for hosting us during one of our best vacations!
