Cozy get away

This was a perfect get away for the weekend. The house was extremely inviting. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed spending time on the screened in porch. The kitchen had everything that we needed also. Debbi was great to work with and very reachable. We would definitely stay here again.

NEVER AGAIN

From the time we enter the code in to enter the home was a disaster house was freezing furniture was dusty and filthy definitely could use an update back patio door would not lock properly family photos and other items scattered about the house as if that is there a daily living home and we’re just away for the weekend at the end of our trip I received a $700 claim on my card for damages of a clogged downstairs bathroom that was never used during our stay because it was clogged but property owner just so happen to have Drano in her car she stated also the damages included cuts on their dining room table that she could not show proof of after stating her family were at the home but unable to take photos Never again will I book this property if you want to stay in someone’s personal home and deal with family photos hovering over you in your sleep LOL or lack of space for your personal items because there’s no room for your belongings as well as the family who lives there then this is definitely the place for you

Not as Expected

We booked for our long weekend getaway. After booking, I got message from host that there is no AC and there is couple of fans. We thought we will be fine without AC. When we reached there, there were no lights. Host was responsive and guided us about the main switches. I am so sorry to say that house was not clean. There were dust on sofa and dead roaches in living room area. Front deck and backyard sitting area is full of dust n even though you cannot stand over there. It’s totally different from what is shown in the picture. Host told us to send cleaning lady over there but we refused as we don’t feel comfortable. When booking, we really thought we enjoy our tea while sitting outside. I am very disappointed from this. Upstairs bedroom bed is slightly broken n it makes sound. There are no even essential things in the bathroom either.

I’m sorry you were not happy. You booked last minute and 2 days after Ida. I was not able to get someone to look at the porch’s, and clean them up. Because of Ida the house lost power and I walked you though turning the circuit breaker on. I do not leave essential in the bathroom due to covid. This house has never had roaches but it is in the woods and bugs are around. I have an exterminator that comes every month. Cleaning lady was there just before Ida.

Great vacation retreat

This place was just what we needed for a fun, relaxing getaway. The extra large deck and the screened in porch were highlights. The community is really nice and we enjoyed swimming in the pools.

House was very quiet and rustic, exactly what I was looking for! Swimming, boating, lakes, parks, sports fields, and playgrounds in the development. Host was very easy to get a hold of and responsive.

Great płace, highly recommended!

I stayed at this place over Memorial Day weekend and I am very satisfied. The house is cozy but it has everything a family or group needs -three bedrooms upstairs including a master bedroom with it’s own balcony, another bedroom with a king bed downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped, the dining/living area is also with a good size and it offers lots of game. The owner responds to messages promptly. Not a fancy place but it offers a lot for the price! I highly recommend it, I would definitely go back!

July 2021

I was in town for my son's wedding this past weekend, the house we originally booked sold two weeks ago and we had to find a new place quickly. We booked this house as it suited our needs but found afterward that the house did not have AC. We thought we would be ok with the fans that are provided however the temperatures went into the 90's and it was very warm in the house. I contacted Debbie after the first night and explained to her that we would not be able to stay for the rest of the booked time. She was ABSOLUTELY fantastic and understanding of our predicament. She allowed us to cancel the booking and offered a refund for the unused days of our stay!! I can't thank her enough for being so gracious. I would definitely recommend her house in the Fall and Winter!!!

Cozy Rental

The rental was cozy and had a homey feeling to it. It had most of the things we needed for our stay. For future renters, I would advise to pack sheets, blankets and towels. I don’t believe it mentions that on the listing. I only knew about it prior to my booking because someone else mentioned it in their review. Overall it was a good relaxing stay.

Cozy mountain retreat

Perfect place for our small group of friends over New Year’s Eve weekend. There’s a fireplace, large dining table and lots of board games. Very close to Delaware water gap for hiking and skiing places. Debbie is very responsive.

Pretty good.

The property itself was fine. The jacuzzi spit our dirt and sand, and one of the beds was broken, but luckily we didn’t need it. Otherwise, the place was well stocked, cute, and comfy. The major downfall was that the owner didn’t communicate that this was a gated community with a gatehouse to get in. Our gps took us to a gate that we couldn’t get through and the main gate had 8-10 cars in line every single time we tried to enter. We ended up in the car waiting at the gate for about 30 mins, sometimes longer, each time we wanted to get back to the house.

Cozy with a wonderful fireplace

Nice space shared with a couple friends. Our favorite part was spending time in front of the fireplace, so lovely! Just a note, there were no sheets or towels due to covid (it wasn’t in the listing). So make sure to bring you’re own. Other than that, a great stay!

Poconos getaway

Home is located in a gated community located in the woods outside of Stroudsburg. The house is relatively new and handled our family for a long weekend. Located within minutes of the Delaware water gap recreation area.

Nice escape

Great relaxing location close to hiking trails. Allowed us to disconnect from the world for a bit! Enjoyed the back deck and being in the woods.
