Blessed Christmas vacation in Smokey Mountain Charm cabin

Great Smokie Mountains Christmas vacation in a charming cabin that was great for our family. We loved it's separate space in up and down stairs for privacy.

The cabin was musty and could definitely use a good overall refresh/update and good “spring cleaning”. Everything was very dusty and cobwebs. Not sure when it was last rented. The advertised pictures online showed a very uncluttered tidy neat cabin and this one was very “over” decorated with accents and artificial flowers in every possible spot.

The Cabin

The cabin was nice, however when we first walked in it smelled like someone had just fried onions. The refrigerator smelled and we bought baking soda to try to get the smell out and never did. The dryer did not work, but I called and someone came and fixed that. I think whoever cleaned it prior to our arrival just did what was only necessary and nothing more.

The porches need to be cleaned of cob webs. Rat Poop on bottom porch. Needs dusting inside. Freezer is probably going on. Water continually leaking in fridge. Air vents need cleaned and change filters. Bed in basement , sheets won’t stay on with that mattress protector. We enjoyed our family trip.

Everything needed for a relaxing retreat.

Pool table, stocked kitchen, comfortable clean beds, lovely gas fireplace, location just off the beaten path. My family of 5 teenagers to adults had a great stay. Parking was u shaped on flat terrain but tight for a large SUV.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. Close to Pigeon Forge.

Booking was super easy. Pics made it look like it was somewhat secluded but it is in a neighborhood of close cabins next door, behind and across. Very quiet neighborhood though. Cabin was clean, spacious for 4 of us and lots of things to do on our down time. Would definitely recommend and rent again.

Cabin was very cute and in a good area close to the action but far enough away to feel woodsy. Hot tub was nice! Easy drive to get to the location.

Nice cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay and thought everything was cute and done nicely. Only a few problems we would like to mention. My 5-foot wife could not get into the bed as it was too high up and she needed some steps to help her. The management brought out a hot tub steps and they worked out fine. The second issue was that the lighting was not bright enough in the kitchen and livingroom. It felt really dim in those areas. Lastly, the shower could have used some safety grap bars in it also.
