Welcome to Lazy Bear Lakehouse! This is the perfect gathering place for family and friends to play, relax, and enjoy time together with a gorgeous view of the lake.

This gated-community home with 5,000 square feet, 7 bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms (that sleeps 38!) offers modern amenities and plenty of creature comforts. Enjoy playing pool, foosball, air hockey or watching a movie on one of 5 flat screen TVs. Enjoy breathtaking views from your own private Bullfrog hot tub on the back patio. The property also sits just across the street from the Reserve clubhouse, offering two heated swimming pools, water slide, hot tub, basketball court, tennis court, pickleball court, and playground. The outdoor pools are open seasonally from Memorial Day to early October. Being a short walking distance to the clubhouse amenities is a game changer in the Reserve!

Start the day watching the sunrise over the lake right from the master bedroom or deck. For all-season outdoor play, enjoy The Reserve’s 1800-foot private beach, miles of ATV and snowmobile trails accessible right from the property, or skiing at nearby Beaver Mountain. Come home to unwind and watch the turquoise water while sharing a meal or playing a game at our large dining table. This is a great house for large gatherings. The 2 very large rooms filled with numerous bunk beds were a big hit with my grandkids.Location is ideal, beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. The clubhouse with two pools and a hot tub was fun. The private beach was great, but crowded. We had a few minor issues that Heidi quickly resolved. We hope to stay at this great place again.

Check-in was seamless and stress-free, which got our trip off to a great start. The kitchen was excellent—well-stocked, clean, and perfect for preparing meals during our stay. We also had no issues with the Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay connected when needed.We loved the clubhouse, especially the two pools that our grandchildren absolutely enjoyed. The private beach was nearby and easy to access, adding to the convenience and relaxation of our stay.Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable experience. Highly recommend!

slopping front stairs

Everything was wonderful. The best in our history of rental property stays. However, there is a falling hazard in the design of the front steps. Especially for seniors. The east end of the bottom step falls away/slants down. Gives your brain the sensation of falling since it is not like the others. The rise of the step is fine but the step is not fully perpendicular to the riser. The step slopes away. Please fix this before someone falls because of uneven steps.

Awesome family trip

This house was so fun! We love staying in The Reserve. The teenagers and kids stayed busy playing pool, ping pong, air hockey, and hot tubbing. It was nice to have entertainment at the house! The Reserve private beach was under water, but we still had fun at the north beach. We would stay here again!

Love this place!

Such a great cabin to gather at! It is set up so well and always very well taken care of. Lots of space and well thought out beds and bedrooms. Lots of fun things like a hot tub and air hockey and plenty of space to just hang out all day. Great owners and communication. We had a blast. Thank You! :)

Great Family Reunion

This place was perfect for our family reunion. All together we ended up with 35 at the property, 14 adults and 21 children. We were all accommodated. The property was great! Even had plenty of silverware, plates, pots, pans, etc. to cook meals and serve all of us. The kids loved the pools and there was room on the lawn for games, etc. The view was breathtaking. There was plenty of room for parking including 5 motorcycles, 8 cars and a boat. A really great place.

We loved it. The only drawback was with a house that sleeps 38, I would have thought it would have 2 ovens so you could cook enough food for the 38 people. It was quite frustrating to just have one small stove with the oven that burned the bottom of things we cooked. Very slow to feed that many people.

Bear Lake Stay

Communication with the owner was pretty good. Pictures of the house were very deceiving. The cleaning fee was not cheap, and it was sickening when we showed up and the house smelled awful. As we started putting our thing away the dishes were dirty, old old old food left every where, thing small things that matter were really gross, the bbq was out of propane. Just for how much it cost it should have been perfect.

Great Place to Stay for Family with Kids

We had a great time with family at this beautiful, comfy and clean house. There was plenty of room for the whole group of 23 of us. The billiard, ping-pong table, foosball table and private hot tub kept us all entertained and off the screens. We enjoyed snowboarding and skiing at Beaver Mountain which was only 30 minutes away. The owner was friendly, helpful and quickly replied when we had questions. The directions for check in and check out were clear and easy to follow. Definitely recommend this place!!

We fell in love with Bear Lake because of its beautiful turquoise waters, amazing outdoor adventures, and the quaint small-town vibe. At this property, we found an incredible view of the lake, the ability to gather up to 38 friends and family in a comfortable place, and a five-minute walk to the lodge's heated pools, hot tubs and sport courts. Pickleball in particular is a new family favorite. The cabin itself offers endless entertainment options with 5 flat screen TVs, pool table, foosball, ping pong, and air hockey. Outside, we love playing by the lake, in the lake, or on the lake. The spring and fall allow us to enjoy more of the beautiful outdoor terrain here with great hiking, biking, and motor-sport options. Winter promises great adventure with skiing, sledding, and snowmobiling. All in all, we found this cabin to be the perfect home base for all-season family adventure.

In our humble opinion, this property offers the very best of Bear Lake, with quick drives to the beaches, marina, ski resort, golf course, and restaurants, while also having immediate access to hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails right from the front door. The heated swimming pools and sports courts (all just a five-minute walk) have amazing views of the lake and the lodge is a classy gathering place for any retreat. All around, this property is a perfect place to gather, rest, and play with family and friends.
