THE SPACE
Everyone seems to gather in the kitchen, as it is large and spacious with all the kitchen essentials you need for dining in. The master bedroom is on the main level and offers an en suite combination tub/shower and a walk in closet.
Upstairs layout has 3 bedrooms, including:
* To the left, 2 twin beds
* bedroom 3 has a queen bed
* bedroom 4 also has a queen bed

Gas grill and charcoal grill available for your use.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

The property was clean and the location was fantastic. It worked really well for our family. We were able to walk to the village and pier a couple times a day. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking items. The only weird thing was the stairs - they could be a challenge if you needed to go up and down in the night.

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The weather wasn’t great so it was nice just being able to walk anywhere we needed to go! This was just a quick getaway to relax over the long weekend and the house was just perfect for our family!

Another wonderful stay

We love having the space for our whole family (3 generations) to spread out and relax. Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, kitchen table for games, full kitchen, easy access to restaurants and the beach....all great reasons to come back. We can't wait for our next family getaway. Thanks!!

We'll definitely be back!

Our annual family vacation (3 generations) typically includes a stop on St. Simon's Island. We always stay in a house on the island, but this year wanted one closer to the pier (easier walking access for the grandparents). This house was perfect. Location, amenities, and house itself were exactly what we needed. The ONLY thing I would make other renters aware of is the fact only one bedroom is on the ground floor, and the stairs are a bit steep to get upstairs or anyone staying on that floor. The office was quick to respond to any questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time and will definitely be back! Thanks so much!!

Cozy beach getaway

I stayed here for a family trip with my mom, siblings and their spouses. The location is great, the accommodations are as pictured, and the house is fully stocked with essentials. All you need to bring is yourselves, and groceries if you plan to do any cooking. As mentioned in other reviews, the stairs are steep and a bit tricky at the top. So if you have people with mobility issues in your group, be aware that there is only one bedroom on the ground floor. Also know that the three upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom, and two of the bedrooms share a walk through closet. It was workable for my family but others may have different preferences about that. Overall, it was very comfortable and we had a lovely time.

Family Wedding

Property location is perfect for walking to the village area. Very convenient. Beaches are nice, but disappear with water by noon, which was a real disappointment. House was nice, but needs some tlc. I've stayed at many vrbo rentals and this one was not the best as far as cleanliness. Walls and doors are dirty. Needs updating in areas, Filters are caked with dust and dirt. I contacted the manager of property and he was willing to change filters, but he wanted me to tell him size of filters. I didn't have time in the busy weekend to pull down filters to see or measure the area. I would rather his reply be, we will have them changed today, thank you for letting us know. Stairs are tricky as the are designed differently at top of landing and steep. Overall stay was ok for the short time my family stayed there for the wedding. Location is fabulous.
