5 Star Modern New Construction Bayfront Home With Private Dock and Pool

Island Dreamz Bay House is a piece of paradise on the Vaca Cut waterway in Marathon. Gorgeous and brand new 5 bedroom, designer decorated, 4 bath single-family home with 36 ft. of assigned dockage with whips for extra security and protection. Private pool can be heated upon request for additional fee. Stunning sunset views with open balconies to capture the breezes await you for evening cocktails. Four bedrooms, 3 baths are located on the second level. The expansive master suite has a king bed and an on-suite luxurious bath with bay views. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have a queen-size bed, and the 4th room has a bunk bed with a trundle underneath to sleep 3 children. The junior master suite is located on the main level which has a king-size bed and on-suite bath. There are flat-screen TV's in each bedroom. The living room TV has cable and all bedroom Tv's are hooked up for Netflix, Hulu, etc.. High-speed wireless internet, fish cleaning tables, and gas grills are included. There is a maximum of 12 guests including all children that are permitted by the City of Marathon.
Brand new construction in 2020 and designer furnished with everything you will need for your vacation. Large open concept living area, quartz countertops, waterfall island with seating. Dry bar entertainment area.

Great place!

We loved our stay. The house was perfect for our family vacation. We enjoyed the pool and watching the boat traffic. We spent a lot of time on the porch checking out the boats. Randy and Lauri were quick to handle any issues and give helpful recommendations for activities and restaurants. Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful Home

This home was so nice! Lots of little extras provided by the owners. Coffee, creamer, pool towels, bug spray. Love the double washer and dryer upstairs near the bedrooms. Owner answered every question promptly. Pier was perfect for 30 ft boat. Would definitely book again.

Wonderful stay!

This home is beautiful! Situated directly on Vaca Cut with beautiful views. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed. The home is very spacious with a large great room area perfect for gathering. The outdoor area with pool are also a great gathering space. Pool was warm and we swam day and night. Lauri was lovely host and very responsive to all my questions. I would recommend this house to any group of adults or a large family. With the 2 king suites it’s perfect for multiple families as well. It’s close to so many activities, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Soft Furnishings and location

The property was bright and new looking, however all cushions on furniture inside and out were stained and either need to be vigorously cleaned or replaced. If you are looking to stay in a quiet location location in Marathon this is not the Vacation rental for you, as the home is located extremely close to the Vaca Cut Bridge and US1. The photographs omitted these views. However we did enjoy our stay.

Hi Fran. Thank you for your review. We appreciate you letting us know about some recent stains on the furniture. We had all of the cushions steam cleaned after your departure as we take the aesthetics of our home very seriously. We also value the quiet and solitude in our home having impact glass doors and windows which block out any outside sound. We also enjoy being near the center of the property and not next to the bridge. All of the houses there have views of the bridge and we are so fortunate to have access to both the bay and ocean right behind our home. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. We have a 2 1/2 year history of 5 Star Reviews because all of our guests rave about our home, the view and their experience. Once a guest stays with us, they book in advance for the following year.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view!

I loved having a bedroom on the main floor for us (the grandparents) and a bathroom beside this room and also shared with family. The kitchen and living room area was large and lovely. The upstairs bedrooms (2 masters with ensuite) and the hall bathroom to share with 2 other bedrooms. Pool was a good size and enjoyed by all. The cabana was a big hit. Watching from the main balcony the tides moving back a forth from the Gulf and the Ocean was mesmerizing. Saw a bald eagle, frigates, storks, and other birds. This was the best vacation with our kids and grandkids. Cooked our fresh catch of mahi-mahi and tuna on the grill. Seeing the sights each days. It couldn’t get any better!! The owners are so nice. They made sure we had everything we needed!! It was a lovely vacation.

Island Dreamz Bay House

This is a great house with an excellent location on Vaca Cut. The house is modern, well-equipped, and has very nice amenities like a heated pool, boat dock, dual full-sized washers and dryers, and nice TV's in virtually every room. Being Thanksgiving week, we did a lot of cooking, and kitchen amenities and equipment were excellent. Communications with the Host were top-notch as well.

Great large house

The house was a great fit for what we needed to accommodate our large group (8 adults and 2 kids). Home owner was quick to respond to questions and items needed. It was great place to just relax by the pool.

Perfect for a family

The property was clean, well appointed and convenient. The house was pleasantly quiet and perfect for a family vacation. The property owner was quick to respond and friendly. If you plan to cook, there’s not a ton of equipment, but certainly enough to improvise. Internet was very slow, but functional. I would definitely consider renting this house again in the future.

The big plus with this is it is extremely obvious that the owner cares and really wants to provide an enjoyable stay. Most of the layout can be found in the listing so I won’t cover that. Everything was very clean and in good repair. The location is perfect and well stocked with supplies overall.

Great space for family gathering

Clean, great location and nice open living/dining/ and kitchen space for family gathering. Great outdoor space. Beautiful decor. Couple of issues; not meant to criticize but to give folks the heads up. The internet did not work right. They did have a repair person come out but he was only able to do a work around. It was a definitely an issue with the equipment in the house as we could connect to the rental Nextdoor’s WI-FI and everything worked. Hopefully everything is working now as it did effect a few of us working remotely. Plan to buy toilet paper, paper towels, etc. the allocation was not nearly enough for eight people. Past properties we have stayed in had basic spices, cooking oils, etc. I believe due to COVID nothing is left at the house. Our family likes to cook. If you plan to cook, plan to buy everything but salt and pepper. The code on the gate did not work. For our daily walks we had to have a car pull-up to the gate to open it for us to walk out. It was fixed later in the week. Also small supply of bath and kitchen towels. One washcloth for my spouse and Me to share. This is a new rental in the height of a pandemic so I think the rental will only get better. Yes, I would recommend this property.

Hi Kay, Thank you for the five-star review. The Xfinity went down at the whole complex before you arrived. While some houses were able to be reset by a signal, ours did need a technician to manually enter the code. We were luckily able to have a technician arrive quickly so that you could have working internet. We have guests there now and everything is working perfectly as it normally does. As I mentioned and we post, we provide a starter set of everything for your arrival. Frequently for a week-long stay and a large number of guests, a visit to replenish such items as toilet paper and paper towels is needed. We stay at many vacation rentals ourselves and we always plan to replenish the supplies. I am not sure what the current situation of spices is. Whatever guests leave is there for the next guest to use unless it has all been used. The pedestrian gate did break while you were there but management had it serviced and working the following day. We always provide enough linens and towels for the number of guests that are there. We have also purchased and sent down 12 new sets of towels and 12 pillowcases as extras. We appreciate your review and we are always striving to make our guests as comfortable as possible!

Perfect family vacation

Great overall experience. Rented a boat for the week and vaca cut is a very easy access point for both ocean and bay sides. Freezer very helpful for boat to store extra ice and bait. Kids said best vacation ever, some adults were concerned about the bold iguanas on property. They wanted to hang pool side with us! Very nice house and it fit our family of 12 comfortably.

Family get-a-way

My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary with our kids and grandkids (age 11 mos - 8 yrs) in this amazing house in Marathon! Plenty of room to spread out, great views of the water, and close location to restaurants and excursions. Owners were very easy to work with. My grandsons wanted to know when we’re coming back!

Lovely home

It was a lovely home and the owners were very helpful. The private pool was a big plus. The beds were comfy with nice sheets which is a huge plus.
