Mid-Century Modern Desert Oasis at SANDPIPER

Experience mid-century at it’s finest! A desert modern home designed by prominent architect William Krisel. Our two bedroom, two bath condo has several vintage features, including exposed concrete block walls, high tongue and groove ceilings throughout, with beautiful clerestory windows in the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. The kitchen was elegantly remodeled in 2018 while still keeping the aesthetic of this 1960’s home. The guest bathroom boasts it’s original cast iron bathtub, keeping your bath water warm extra long. The master bedroom is open and airy with access to a private back patio. Enjoy views from the kitchen and front patio of the sparkling swimming pool, green belt, and the gorgeous mountain backdrop, making this your own private oasis!
Our unit is located within steps (across the street) from luxury shopping and dining at The Gardens on El Paseo Drive. Enjoy sophisticated restaurants like Eddie V’s, Kitchen 86, and Mastro’s. Stroll through the shops of Escada, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., and many more! Within a short driving distance, you can enjoy multiple golf courses, shopping malls, museums, casinos, and hiking trails.
Our condo is equipped with high-speed WiFi internet, Roku TV, and air conditioning/heating. All linens are provided, including pool towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools you will need to truly make this condo your “home away from home”!

Great place to stay

The owner was great to deal with, and the place itself is first rate. Some new furniture on the deck makes it the place to go to relax, do some reading, and get some sun. The landscaping with the pool in the background makes the view outstanding. Really enjoyed staying here.

Our Oasis

Comfortable, well-equipped property in great location for a relaxed stay with easy access to shops, galleries and many dining options. We love the Mid-Century Mod architecture and design with views of the beautifully landscaped garden/pool and mountains. This VRBO and its very responsive hosts made our stay most enjoyable. Hope to return again.

Highly Recommend

Courtney's place at Sandpiper is super comfortable. It's easy walking distance to the restaurants and shops on El Paseo. The patio overlooks the lovely gardens and heated swimming pool. The condo was clean, had comfortable beds, and updated kitchen with everything needed.

We had a wonderful time at Courteney’s condo. It is very clean, close to all shopping, very comfortable beds and all the amenities that you would need. Courteney is the best! She answers questions quickly and is such a pleasure to work with. This place is truly a gem.

Home away from hone

We had the best time at Courteney’s condo that we didn’t want to leave. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities that you would need. We loved the retro look and we felt right at home. The beds were so comfortable. Courteney was a very gracious host and questions were answered promptly. We can’t wait to return.

Had a wonderful stay and Courteney was a fantastic host. The place has everything you need and is furnished very nicely. The property opens up to a great outdoor area leading to the pool which was always quiet and a pleasure to use. Great place, great host!

Great location.

This property is located centrally in the desert and at the end of El Paseo. We were able to walk to the restaurants which was great. The property is clean, well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Right beside the pool which was a bonus. Sandpiper is a very quiet, relaxing property. We will definitely stay here again.

Sandpiper is terrific

This sandpiper unit has the greatest kitchen! Huge window looking at the pool and beautiful flowers. The deck gets the morning sun, great place to enjoy your morning coffee. All around fabulous.

Wonderful Stay in Palm Desert

My wife and I had a wonderful 1 month stay at Courteney's in Palm Desert! The condo itself is perfect - very clean, modern, comfortable, and well appointed. The Sandpiper community itself is lovely, filled with charming architecture, beautiful landscaping, communal fruit trees, and a pristine pool right off the deck from the condo. We also loved the backdrop of the mountains, which pictures don't do justice. Courteney was an extremely responsive and courteous host, graciously accommodating a couple requests we had during our stay. We look forward to returning some day. Would highly recommend staying here!
