The ease of arrival was wonderful. Everything was clean and organized in the rental. The access to the fishing pier was wonderful. Also, being able to walk to the beach was perfection. The rental had all the daily needs - coffee maker, linens, dish soap, and pots/pans. We were able to watch the sunrise on the porch. We will definitely be back!

Great location. Beautiful view off the back deck. Everything was functional, just needs to be updated. Perfect for our family. Kitchen was well stocked. We plan on returning.

My new favorite place

Any one of these cottages at Scallop Cove is the best place to stay on the cape, especially if you bring pets. You wake up to the amazing sunrise over the bay and the sun sets over the ocean across the street. There is private beach access with this accommodation. Having the store right there is super helpful as well. Cute little place with a great back yard. We will be back!!

Nice and clean, rental was easy. Quiet place with lots of birds and other wildlife including bald eagles. Nice access to the gulf just across the street. We hope to be back some day.

Great getaway in beautiful town

The home was perfect for myself, my husband, and two little boys. We had a great time watching the wildlife from the dock and back porch. The beach is a short walk from the cottage. My only suggestion was to update the pictures online as the home exceeded the expectation. Very clean, nicely updated, and comfortable. We are already planning our next stay!

Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay! The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals so after stopping at the Piggly Wiggly on the way in we didn’t leave the Cape until we checked out. Scallop Cove is literal steps away with a small selection of grocery items and even some beach gear so anything we decided we needed we just purchased there. We rented kayaks and bikes from San Flea rentals which we used almost daily. The sunrise from the back screened porch and deck was breathtakingly beautiful. And an easy walk across the street puts you on the beach. As for the home, it was just what we needed. A nice cozy place for the 2 of us. The outdoor shower was great for getting the sand off too! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Perfect for 2 humans and 2 dogs!

Super clean, super well equipped for cooking, beautiful view of the bay and very convenient to the beach. The convenience of the store nearby was wonderful! The only downside is that the bedroom with the single bed is very tight. I am not sure it would work for larger build people, just because it would be very hard to access the closet area and one side of the bed. And the shower is also a small corner shower. It worked well for us but is something to note. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable option that doesn’t involve sacrificing comfort and cleanliness! There is a great screened porch, and an open deck, as well as a nice yard to walk dogs. It’s also the BEST view of the sunrise and a quick walk to the beach to see the sunset!

Needs work

I’m not a reviewer but I needed to do this one. The location of this property is great. You can walk up to the bait shop or gas station to grab something. Now, the property needs a lot of work. When you first walk in it smelled like urine. The pots and pans were in terrible shape with burnt food on them and Teflon scratches. The bathroom has patched holes in the shower and soft spots in the floor. I can go on but you see the shape of the house. It has beautiful sunsets so it’s pretty upsetting. This is an investment home for him one of many. My opinion he needs to spend some money and it would be a great place to stay.

Location is fabulous. Weather was best ever. Our unit is very nice beds very comfortable. Fishing was excellent....caught a 27 inch red fish off the dock in back of property. Enjoyed our stay very much
