This cottage is cozy and comfortable for a quick getaway, girls trip, fishing tournament, remote work place or just relaxation on the east side of Possum Kingdom Lake. After an adventurous day on the lake or around town you can cozy up by the fireplace inside while watching movies with the surround sound system. Play the many games that are in the house. Enjoy the shaded back patio, where you can cook on the deluxe grill and smoker and enjoy your visit around the fire pit. Located only a 1/2 mile from the lake and centrally located to popular restaurants, Rocker B Baseball tournaments, several Wedding venues, hiking/ biking trails and favorite swimming and fishing spots. Boat access ramp is included and located 1/2 mile from the cottage.

Fun lake getaway

Went for a few days while on Spring Break with family and friends. Cabin was great, enjoyed everything about it! Hope to come back some day!

Neat, clean and good enough equipped. Host made effort with some extras like waffle mix, drip mix and s'mores. For that we can compliment the hostNegatives inside property was the toilet that didn't always had water to flush and no ventilation in bathroom. The mattress for the main bedroom is old, lost shape and not very comfortable. The property sits right on a busy road and cars are speeding by from dawn until late into the night.The surrounding neighborhood is very bad and although host claims it's walkable to the lake we didn't want to, due to the bad neighborhood surrounds. So we had to drive to some better parts of the lake although the initial idea was that we would have easy walkable lake access. So the overall location of the property lacked for us in too many ways.

Mini vacay

We decided at the last minute to take a short trip to Possum Kingdom lake with our fur baby. This cottage was available. The location is good. There is a local restaurant/bar just down the road with great food and service. Close to the lake to picnic and walk.

Cute cottage

This was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. I appreciated all of the extras like the coffee bar, soft towels, s’mores fixin’s and the record player. The kitten was nicely stocked. The owners definitely want their guests to be comfortable.

Overall Impression

Stay was ok. Bugs & moths throughout the home, mattress way too soft, coffee maker kept popping off, extension cord to short, shower pan was cement (not finished out) shared shower with the 2 crickets, not enough or no hooks/rods to hang towels or area to place personal items in bathroom, no closet are area to hang personal clothing, no ice maker, outside cushions and patio not cleaned up. The location is quiet, home spacious, floors clean, A/C units worked fine, neighborhood rough looking but seemed safe, outside flower beds and patio could use some TLC.

Great get Away

Very Awsome place. Clean, great Deco, large space. Coffe bar, hot tub, fire pit, and a Great grill for All pit Masters. And our fur babies were very comfy too. Thank yall. 😊

Sweet place but

The cottage itself is very cute. But it was freezing cold and only two small space heaters. Also it is not near the lake but instead on a busy highway and shared space with trailer park. April was very sweet but we left the property after 10 minutes. Not what we wanted for a romantic get away.

I cannot wait to return!!

I needed to get away. I love the peaceful vibe the country gives me and so I found this beautiful listing for a cozy cottage. I had no idea what to expect, I've never rented a place for a couple days. Well.. I thought the drive was everything I needed, until I got to the cottage! Parked in the grass next to the front door, and fell in love immediately! Everything was clean, welcoming, stocked... although I couldn't find the sponge for the dishes 😄 This place is so spacious and beautifully designed and layed out. Only cons I'd mention, and this is me nitpicking, is the uneven shower floor, not having a bath to lay in, the light in the bedroom cieling fan didn't work, and the bed is on wheels. But ill take all of that with a grain of salt. I cannot wait to return and show it off with a few friends!! Thanks for everything, again, April. 😊
