This 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom home is second to none for your vacation to the mountains! With all the windows this home offers, it is impossible not to see the beauty around you. Located at the end of the road, with 340 degree views and total privacy, you will feel as if you are on top of the world, even though you are just a few minutes from the slopes!
Recently remodeled, with attention to detail and comfort, your stay is sure to be exceptional. The large, kitchen and dining area make it easy for everyone to cook, eat, and laugh together. The open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and two living areas, including a fireplace, makes for great space to sit and unwind after your daytime adventures. The outdoor hot tub is the perfect way to end your day and take in the beauty that surrounds this incredible home. A quick few minute drive to the ski mountain, under a 10 minute drive to downtown Crested Butte, views for miles, and high end living space that accommodates 16 people comfortably, makes this house your dream vacation come true!
The bottom floor has a heated 2 car garage and a mud room for shoes and gear and entry to the home. The ground-level entrance near the garage opens into an office. For those who have a lingering business that needs to be addressed while on vacation, this room provides a real sanctuary from the activity of the house. It is secluded and quiet, with great WiFi. So work or play, the Avalanche House is the place to stay! It also has a queen bunk room, with room for 2 self-inflating twin beds available if needed in the closet, a full spacious bathroom, and a large laundry room. The main floor of the house has a well-appointed kitchen, bar, family room, cozy den with a fireplace, and a spacious queen bedroom with a full bath that serves as the common bathroom as well. The third floor has a master suite with fireplace, a king bed, full bathroom with double sinks, a huge walk in closet, and a much needed steam shower after a day of CB adventures! Views from the master and shower are spectacular! Also on this floor is a king bedroom with a full private bathroom and two more queen bedrooms that share a full bathroom in between them.
PARKING: There is space for 1 vehicle in the heated garage and 3 outside on the driveway.
