Escape year round, with family and friends, to this private 5 bedroom 2.5 bath retreat minutes from Echo lake and Plymouth state park, Okemo golf resort, Okemo, Bear Creek, Killington, Pico, Suicide Six, Magic and Bromley Ski Resorts, 3 doors down from VAST snowmobile trails and incredible fishing at Colby pond. This cherished haven is a delight for both nature lovers and cycling enthusiasts, just moments away from famous swimming holes, various hiking trails, incredible foliage views down Route 100/100A, close to the Shire of Woodstock and offers several nearby Breweries to explore. Relax and enjoy time together outdoors by the stream, reading a book, sledding in the backyard or nestle indoors by the fireplace playing games while sipping hot cocoa or a hot toddy. Don't miss an opportunity to escape and create memories that last a lifetime!

We had a wonderful time. The house was convenient to get to and close to Okemo. It was clean, there was enough space for everyone and plenty of games to keep the kids entertained. Michele was a wonderful host.

I loved that this house was halfway between Okemo and Killington. It had plenty of room for my family and the bedroom on the first floor was perfect for my elderly father. The kitchen and entire first floor was roomy and accommodated our family of 8 perfectly.

Perfect Okemo Home

We had our annual Okemo ski trip with friends and luckily found this wonderful home. Plenty of space for all of us and a quick ride over to the mountain. 10/10 would stay again!

Great retreat for a family ski trip

We enjoyed our stay and found the house to be very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked if you plan to do some home cooking. It was a short drive to Killington and Ludlow. Overall great experience!

Wonderful Place to Stay

The house was clean and fully stocked (especially the kitchen) with all you could need. If you’re looking to be surrounded by nature and a chance to “get away” from noisy life, this is a lovely place to stay. Michele was also great to communicate with and had wonderful recommendations on things to do nearby. Definitely a 5/5 stay.

Wonderful!

This is a great home. Well stocked and one of the cleanest properties that we have stayed at. I would definitely stay again. We skied Killington and had about a 20 minute drive from the house to the Skyship base which worked well for our group.

Excellent ski vacation

We loved the house. It was so comfortable it felt like being at home. The kitchen was fantastic with a very spacious island for prepping meals and seating at the island for pre-dinner drinks. The hosts were super responsive and accommodated an early check-in for us. Their customer service was probably the best we’ve encountered.

Fall Family Trip

This house was just as described! Very clean and all the amenities you would ever need. Great communication with no hesitation about anything we asked. The timing was perfect to see fall foliage. We visited the local area, Stowe and Woodstock. Highly recommend!

Great stay!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean and well furnished and we stayed very comfortably for a week. There were many comfy seats for curling up with a good book or napping, a great big table for us to play games during the day and enjoy meals together in the evening, and just the right amount of beds for sleeping. It was a very hot week but the air conditioners helped cool the whole house pretty well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We would definitely recommend it to others and we look forward to staying again!

The Perfect Ski Home

Moose Tracks Lodge was the perfect home for my family and friends over Super Bowl weekend. We skied Okemo Mt, an easy 10 minute drive from the home, and it was the perfect place to come home to with a wood burning fire and cozy living room. 10 of us slept comfortably and the home was well stocked for us to cook our meals everyday. Michelle and Matthew were very attentive to our questions leading up to and during our stay. We will definitely be back to Moose Tracks Lodge.

We purchased this home to enjoy time with family and friends and take advantage of various nearby ski resorts, lakes, hiking trails, swim holes and a variety of other joys we are still uncovering. We love that this spot is private and truly a retreat for our family which we hope to extend to others when we are not there. This location is in the middle of quite a bit of fun in just about every direction. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

This property is centered in the middle of all the things we love to do. We love nature and the outdoors and wanted a private escape that would accommodate our family and friends with access to a variety of outdoor pleasures. We love the close access to multiple ski resorts, especially Okemo and Killington and wanted to be near the snow mobile trails to explore a whole new world. It only helps that our neighbor has extended a cross country skiing trail for us to enjoy, literally abutting our property.

We love the fact there is a fishing pond 3 doors down and a very popular Echo lake down the main road. We love kayaking and boating and can't wait for this summer to enjoy time. Needless to say, Camp Plymouth with its variety of hiking trails and all the nearby wildlife were huge draws for us. There's apparently a moose crossing just up the road from us where travelers park and wait for their very own moose sighting. There is also a 20 mile stream on our property that not only bolsters a nice view and backyard fishing, but sounds incredible, especially at night! We love the foliage in the fall and this location is not only beautiful to drive to, it's nearby all the leave peeping joys of Vermont. On that note, while driving around exploring the area, check out the Shires of Woodstock which are not too far and enjoy indulging in the multiple breweries, all within 30 minutes.

We are so excited about our escape and hope you enjoy it as much as we will.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We fell in love with this property for a several reasons, first its central location to all sorts of outdoor fun in the spring, winter, summer and fall! We LOVE that the house is set up on a big sledding hill which is so exciting for our kids. There is even a natural sled ramp that’s a TON of fun. We absolutely LOVE that 20 mile stream flows through our property. It adds so much character, from the old stone wall around it to the small swimming pools it creates. Sitting up on the back deck, the sound of trickling and flowing water are so relaxing it makes you want to stay even longer. Watch sunsets from the back deck come through the trees and don't forget star gazing at night!! I can't believe how many stars we see! This location is a haven for cyclists. We also love the proximity to snow mobile trails, a well known fishing Colby pond, a popular picturesque Echo Lake and tons of hiking trails all around us. If you love the outdoors, you will love this spot!
