Beautiful Wildwood Lakefront Chalet

Located close to all northern Michigan has to offer! Near snowmobile, hiking and ORV trails, skiing, river rafting and more! Enjoy Fall colors! Snowmobiler's paradise in northern Michigan's snowbelt! Swim in the sandy beach, fish, and enjoy watersports during Summer!

Relax at this 4 bedroom 3 bath lodge style home which comfortably sleeps 12. (During the current Covid restriction we are limited to 10 guests). The main floor is an open concept gathering space with plenty of windows to enjoy the view. The fully stocked kitchen includes a large dining table and island seating. There is a comfortable living area with TV, and internet.
There are two first floor bedrooms, one with a queen bed and other with two sets of twin/full bunk beds. Also on the main floor is a full bath with rain shower.
Upstairs offers a master bedroom with a king bed, a futon, and it’s own bathroom with shower. There is also an open loft with beautiful lake views.
The lower level features a game room with a pool table, bar, tv, and a private outdoor hot tub with views of the lake. Also on the lower level you’ll find another bedroom with one queen and one twin bed, full bath, and laundry area with washer/dryer.
Outdoors you can enjoy grilling or relaxing on the deck. There is a sandy beach with a dock, a cozy fire-pit, a paddleboat, and a swing set for the kids. Enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking and boating on this all sports lake. There is a boat launch should you decide to bring your boat or rent one from one of the nearby marinas.

--5 minutes from Trowbridge (I-75) to get on the ATV/Snowmobile Trails (Reserve ATV's and snowmobiles in Indian River)
--40 minutes to Boyne Mountain, Nubs Nob, and Treetops Ski Resorts
--Golf at the Wildwood Golf Course, or other nearby courses
--Canoe, raft, kayak or tube down the Sturgeon River from downtown Wolverine

Great vacation spot!

We had such a good time! The place was beautiful and so clean! Plenty of room for everyone which made it easy to spend time in both good and bad weather. The guys caught alot of fish each time they went out on the boat as well as the kids fishing off the dock. The host has thought of about everything that you might need during your stay. We will definitely book again.

Very special place

Loved the beautiful home and gorgeous lake. Fishing was fantastic between 3p and 5p off the dock. Close to so many places, though I was content just to stay at the house and enjoy the hot tub. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing!!!

This house is beyond beautiful. The pictures do not do justice. The views are breathtaking!! The place was super clean. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The basement was perfect with a bar, pool table and hot tub outside. We absolutely loved staying here and plan to do it every year. This place is no doubt a 10 out of 10.!!!! The host is very nice and the communication was on point. Highly highly recommend staying here!!!

Mom’s Getaway

This house was absolutely incredible! Spacious, with a great layout and decor. It was the perfect spot for a mom‘s getaway weekend :-) the owner was very easy to work with, and the house is well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. We definitely want to come back, and would recommend it to anyone!

Fabulous Lakefront Home!

This vacation home has something for everyone in the family. The Little’s enjoyed the swing set, the old folks enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the waterfront. The young adults enjoyed fishing from the dock and taking a paddle around the lake in kayaks. We have family living nearby so this location was super convenient. We had a great time and look forward to booking this same location again next year.

Family Retreat

Incredible property! Very clean and has just about anything you need to live comfortably for the week. The owner was very responsive to anything we needed. Gorgeous home and we loved the hot tub and pool table for extra entertainment. The dock was great for our speed boat and 2 wave runners. We would love to return and are looking at a winter trip for snowmobiling. Highly recommended!

Amazing retreat

This vacation rental was gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations! The 12 of us had plenty of room. The water was a never ending gorgeous back drop. The water was beautiful and fun to play in. The kids loved the kayaks and paddle boat. As one of the moms doing the food for the week this kitchen was very well stocked which is so appreciated. The only slight drawback is the neighbor apparently dislikes children. When 8 little kids are playing in the water they tend to get noisy. She screamed at us that we were upsetting her dog. It was a very quiet lake but you’d think the sounds of joyful kids playing would be a delight to most people?And to be fair her dog barked it’s head off when it was silent outside. It never would occur to me to tell her her dog was bothering me? She was a tiny rain cloud in an otherwise perfect week. We had enough excursions that we weren’t there all the time feeling like we were walking on eggshells. The location of this is also great it was far enough away that it wasn’t busy but we went to St Ignace, Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City, Lake Charlevoix, Ocqueoc Falls in Rogers City all within an hours drive. We loved this vacation and would definitely recommend this place to others! Thank you so much!

Few little issues

The kids loved the lake. There was one day where they sprayed the lake and we were unable to use it for one whole day. Disappointing for sure but out of anyone’s control so we got over it. The cleanliness of the home was not great. There was a large glob of hair in the main level shower ( which I just used a piece of toilet paper to remove BUT was the shower even cleaned?). There were very noticeable cobwebs above the dinning table. One of the boys was leaning against the couch and slid it towards the coffee table revealing a very nasty looking floor. The little piece of trim coming off the counter on the right hand side of the stove could use some glue. This sounds like nit picking but these little things seamed to be everywhere and caught the eye of my mother she was extremely unimpressed which made our long awaited vacation to be less then enjoyable. The deck has a great view but the furniture definitely needs replaced. We came across 2 broken chairs and 1 that did not look safe to sit in. There were a few nails on the deck that were sticking up and caught our feet. . Overall the house was ok
