Virtually all brand new stuff from Sam's club, including new serta mattresses, 600 thread count sheets, new towels, pots and pans, TV, silverware, plates, decor, etc. Welcome to this delightful knotty pine cabin combo family get-a-way less than one mile from beautiful Thumb Lake (aka, lake Louise) near Boyne Falls/Vanderbilt. This cozy retreat features one knotty pine cabin with 2 new Sealy queens, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with a bathtub/full shower. Cabin includes all the essentials like Truestream WiFi, AC, heating, coffee maker, stove, microwave, and full-size refrigerator and smart TV so that you can stream via your own subscriptions. Guests will appreciate the peaceful surroundings and the warm, charming atmosphere of this fantastic property. A second, smaller cabin is for rent as well, about 40 feet away, only these 2 cabins are for rent, with no other properties or rentals on the 80 acre retreat. Combine both cabins for a group or family event, and Paul/host willing to help accommodate larger groups with other space and hosting equipment.

Our place will help you feel at home while you're enjoying family, friends, and reunions with the beautiful and warm outdoor setting, with beautiful views of the Thumb Lake and Chandler Hill area. Char-broil commercial grill for BBQ-ing outside shared with other cabin, oversized outdoor rocking chairs, patio and picnic table provided. Fire-ring provided, shared with other cabin.

Bring your boat, tri-toon, kayaks and water fun to enjoy beautiful Thumb Lake. Setting is on private property with only the two cabins and garage, offering private setting with viewing of Deer, elk, sandhill cranes, herons, ducks, geese, and other wildlife that are in the general area and have been spotted.

If you love beautiful clean water and beaches, you will love Thumb Lake, bring your water gear, boat, kayak, canoe, etc. Attached pics show the picnic tables/pavilion, and all water shots/pics are at Thumb Lake, within one mile of the cabins. Four-wheeler/recreational trails nearby for fun in the summer and snowmobiling (close to Chandler hill area for snowmobiling and mushrooming).

New Sealy Queen mattresses, including Posturepedic+ Walsh 13" hybrid, Pro, etc. About 20 minutes to Boyne, Gaylord and Petoskey. Room for parking for boat trailer, toys etc. Lighted outdoor area for safety.

Cabin is charming rustic, older charm with antique door handles (see picture), yet updated with AC and WIFI, and USB and C style charger outlets, Bluetooth music listening available. Refreshing fresh water well is tasty and cold! More pictures to come, new to the rental market and just getting started. More improvements to come as well, e.g., paint exterior, window repair and replacement.

Beautiful Thumb Lake Public pavilion, public beach and public boat launch just a mile or so down the road.

Both cabins are slightly discounted as they are a work in progress and we are new to the rental program. for example, some basic repairs, paint, etc.

Max stay is 7 days, 6 nights or less, please see house rules. This ensures quality turnover and proper cleaning and sanitizing. Reservations beyond this are not allowed, and will be cancelled by owner at no charge to VRBO owner by VRBO.
