We are a family of 9 that decided to spend Christmas in Mallorca and came across this Villa. The views are spectacular and the house was perfect for us. Large enough for everyone to have their own space and quaint enough for us to hang out together. The daily breakfast was such a nice touch. We woke every morning to an amazing spread. A wonderful way to start our day. In planning our trip, Marita was very helpful and responsive and MarĂ­a was a great contact while we were there. They even put up a Christmas tree for us at our request. It was small touches like that that made our stay so wonderful. We appreciated their concern for our comfort and felt their warm welcome. We hope to be back in Mallorca for summer to enjoy the pool!

We loved the location of the home. Marita, the hostess, was absolutely lovely and added something special about the home and the experience. The breakfasts were delicous and such a treat. It fit our whole family with Grandparents and older teens. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Stunning Villa and location

A group of friends stayed at Villa Catala to celebrate 3 60th Birthdays. Marita the owner was really helpful with the organisation and planning of the trip and once there, Maria, the Housekeeper and her team looked after us beautifully.The Villa was very clean, the pool was glorious, the views stunning, the beds very comfortable and the breakfasts laid on were on par with any buffet spread in a 5* hotel.We also made use of the Villa's recommended chef who prepared a stunning six course meal for us one evening.I can not reccomend Villa Catala highly enough.

Amazing retreat with friends

We had a beautiful stay. The property was amazing and comfortable with beautiful views of the sea. Anne was very lovely and offered us lots of great advice and made a beautiful breakfast spread every morning. The property is conveniently located with a quick walk to a supermarket and quick cab rides to restaurants and bars. We lounged by the pool, sipped cocktails and made unforgettable memories. We cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful relaxing neighborhood

We had a lovely time at the villa! The pictures are exactly the way it looks, just beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked and we enjoyed cooking one night as there is a grocery store right down the hill. Anne, the property manager, who lives next door, brought us delicious breakfasts every morning and even brought a birthday cake for my son one night. She was very helpful when we needed anything! Mallorca was our favorite stop in Spain and this villa made it even more special.

Loved our time in Mallorca

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mallorca and Villa Catala. I would say the outdoor area and pool is actually better than the photographs. Having Anne on-site was wonderful. Her breakfasts made the morning so much easier! She was always there to answer any questions we had but not at all intrusive. Anne is awesome! This villa is also centrally located if you want to see a lot of the island. The island is big but you can pretty much get to all the major attractions in under 90 minutes (Cap de Fermentor, Sa Colabra, Cala Mirror) and the mountain towns of Valldemossa, Deia and Soller in under an hour. We highly recommend Villa Catala!

Fabulous and did NOT want to leave!

STUNNING VILLA and FABULOUS views! We had such a great time and the location was PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT! We were close to night life and beautiful beaches and the grocery store, etc. Anna, the house keeper and chef of breakfast is amazing and OH SO HELPFUL! She was such a joy to help us plan each day and we truly did NOT want to leave. We were there celebrating a 50th birthday and took 3 other couples for a total of 8 people. It does sleep 10 but the other 2 would be downstairs away from the 4 fabulous bedrooms upstairs each with their own bathroom. It basically is a house with 5 master suites which is ideal when traveling with couples. We will be back and not soon enough - the house was gorgeous and so comfortable and just the perfect place in Mallorca!

Mallorca Wedding

Small family group chose Villa Catala as our base for family wedding. Ann, the housekeeper, was charming. Villa was immaculate exactly as described, spacious with lots of outside space with combination of sun and shade. We had delicious breakfast which was slightly different each day. Ann helped with snacks for a small pre arranged family gathering. Villa is slightly further out of Porto Portals than we appreciated and too far for some family members to walk. We were let down by Uber on a couple of occasions but the reliable Ann had an excellent taxi firm who responded within minutes and were very reasonably priced. We can’t recommend highly enough. Maybe not for Stag/hen parties because this is a quiet residential area but for family gatherings the perfect venue. Would love to visit again Many thanks

Beware- this property is not as claimed

We are very experienced renters, and have never before given a review like this. Unfortunately, the reality of this house does not match the claims. I suspect the photos were taken a long time ago. The owner is an estate agent, so she knows how to use wide angled lenses (the pool is smaller than implied) and to carefully stage tableaux. The bubble chair and white piano are the nice bits- the rest is an old house, tarted up , but far from luxurious. It is very big, thatÂŽs for sure- but a bit gloomy and needing updated. The pool area is very disappointing- surrounded by concrete blocks, garden untended, chairs mismatched , hot plastic cushions. Those stunning sea views are available only from one sun lounger- the rest of the time you are viewing trees , the house next door, or the ugly apartment blocks of New Bendinat. We had an issue with the pool- no biggie, these things happen- but we got a discount only after many screaming matches . BTW, donÂŽt bother ever complaining to vrbo- they are paid by the owners, so they ignore you. Oh, and be aware, the house is up a very steep hill, and there are many stairs from the garage to the house- so you are climbing up there with your luggage. We will never be back.

Superbe villa pour un week-end prolongé en famille

Situé dans une zone résidentielle, villa spacieuse et luxueuse avec toutes les prestations (que des master bedrooms), grande piscine et copieux/succulent petit déjeuner préparé par Ane tout les matins. Nous avons pu profiter du BBQ à gaz pour de belles soirées. Grand salon avec un piano à queue. Belle table en terrasse permettant de manger à 10 sans problÚme. Supermarché à 2 minutes. Plage à 5 minutes en voiture ou 30 minutes à pied. Nous ne pouvons que recommander la Villa Catala !

Villa quasi irréprochable: 5 belles chambres, la plupart avec balcon et belle vue, une grande piscine, agréablement équipée. On s'y sent dans un trÚs bel hÎtel, sans d' autres visiteurs. La responsable est superbe, habite tout prÚs, et est immédiatement là si nécessaire.

Tolle Villa, sehr ruhig und tolle Aussicht

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt in dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft auf Mallorca. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Anne herzlich begrĂŒĂŸt und sie hat uns alles ausfĂŒhrlich gezeigt. Die RĂ€ume sind großzĂŒgig geschnitten und zu jedem Zimmer gibt es mindestens ein Badezimmer, was sehr praktisch war. Insgesamt war alles sauber und gut gepflegt. Wir kommen nĂ€chstes Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder und freuen uns bereits jetzt darauf!

Wonderful villa with ample space

The villa was everything we could have wished for and as advertised. Plenty of room with large bedrooms and bathrooms. Wonderful pool area and in a great location. The on-site caretaker Anne also made a great breakfast every morning and was very helpful with any questions. Highly recommended!

Einfach nur Endstand

Es war ein herrlich entspannter 14 tĂ€giger Urlaub. Die Villa war genauso wie beschrieben und der schöne Ausblick war ein Traum . Der perfecte Sonnenaufgang aus dem Daybed war der Hammer . Excellent stay at Villa Catala

My family and friends had the pleasure of staying at Villa Catala from the 5th to 15th September. Throughout the booking process and run up to our visit, Marita, the owner, was available to offer advice and answer any questions regards our stay. The property is exactly as it appears in the photographs, beautiful, well maintained and in an excellent location for accessing in and around Palma and the south coast of Mallorca. Anne the housekeeper provides a fantastic spread of food for breakfast and ensures the property is kept to her exacting standards. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Villa Catala and we will certainly be returning very soon.
