On a creek with view looking up to the Laurel Ridge/Eagles Nest mountain and the number 1 hole at Laurel Ridge Country Club Golf Course. Very convenient to downtown Waynesville plus Maggie Valley, the Blue Ridge parkway and not too far from Cherokee, Asheville, Biltmore, Rafting the Nantahala, Cataloochee Elk preserve.
The space
2500 SQ. FT. (Single story) HOME, 3 BEDROOM - 3 BATH (all on one floor) plus sleeper sofa in living room plus rollaway cot if requested. The ROOST is kept immaculately clean. The beds are high quality and therefore very comfortable. Spacious relaxing areas with plenty of seating for groups including several comfortable recliners.

Gracious southern charm in a perfect setting.

We had such a good stay at "the Roost". The hosts, Priscilla and Brian, were so accommodating and easy to communicate with. The house was very spacious and comfortable. They thought of so many details that made the stay very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.

Steve (and his family) were amazing model guests in our vacation home. They were such a respectful, sweet, and friendly family. Communication was great and on several occasions they expressed their appreciation for our guest home. When they departed they left our house in very, very good condition. Amazing

The hosts are amazing people. we have stayed here three times and hope to come back next winter. Can't say enough good things about this place. Can't wait to come back again.

Super Hosts

We were in town for medical reasons and needed a place to rest and recover. It felt like coming home. The homestead is peaceful with beautiful views. We cannot wait to return:)

Beautiful house

We had a great stay over New year's. The location was great, the neighborhood is amazing!!. We completely enjoy the house. Priscilla and brian responded immediately when we had a question. Would highly recommend!!!!

Superb treatment

The hosts at this property go way above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable. This is the second time we have stayed here and hopefully plan to make it a yearly tradition. This year we brought a small youth group to take skiing and the accommodations were perfect. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.

Home Away from Home

Truly a home away from home. We were able to settle right in because everything is immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen had all anyone could possibly need and more. Very thoughtfully and kindly supplied. We enjoyed the view of the golf course while sitting on the front porch. In the morning sun. The golf course is a great mountain course with amazing views. Great location for a short car ride to restaurants and downtown Waynesville. And much more! Brian and Priscilla are great hosts. If we stayed any longer we would have new best friends.

Great place for vocation

Great place to stay with family or friends. Clean , spacious, convenient. A lot of bed available. Provide everything including shampoo, conditioner, kitchen spices and so on. Only one thing is not very great that you have to arrange time to take shower if you have a large group, otherwise water will get cool if so many people take showers at the same time.

Great place for multiple families/couples

This place was perfect for our group! With three full bathrooms and the very nicely spread out layout, there is plenty of room for privacy but also plenty of space to spend time together. We stayed for a wedding at Laurel Ridge, which was so convenient! The hosts were so kind, communicative, and flexible. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful, Up to Date, Spacious Mountain Home Close to Sights, Hiking, Fishing, Golf and More!

There is a reason this home is 5 stars all the way - It doesn’t get better than this! We spent a month in this lovely home with many mornings and evenings spent on the front porch listening the the stream, enjoying the scenery, watching the lightning bugs and listening to the birds. The home has beautiful hardwood floors, is clean as a whistle, is well stocked, has excellent internet, 2 master suites, a TV and card/board game room, outdoor eating area, a gas grill for cooking local trout & more, and the Hosts are the best. We would’ve reserved the home again for next summer but someone reserved it ahead of us!

Beyond Amazing!

The Roost was a beautiful home! The hosts thought of every little detail to make our stay wonderful and most comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate our group…extra beds, late check-in, etc. The space was perfect for our large group. Plenty of privacy among the bedrooms. More than enough space for us to spread out comfortably to share in group time. More than enough space for all of us to eat meals. Beyond beautiful setting, both in and out of the home. We felt so welcomed, as if visiting family! We will most definitely be back!

Winter wonderland

This place was by far the best place I have ever rented. The attention to detail and all of the thoughtfulness makes this place stand out above all others. The house was stocked with pantry items and lots of k-cups. Everything was labeled. The hosts were gracious and took great care of us. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Awesome vacation

This was my first time using VRBO to rent. Process was simple but there is a minor hiccup with the actual property address. The hosts were great. Very accommodating. Lots of clear instructions on how things work and expectations. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay

This home was very spacious and spotless, providing what we were looking for plus much more. The owners were very friendly and made our stay most enjoyable as well as having lots of games, books, coolers etc for our use. Plus the location was perfect for all our outdoor activities we drove to see and hike. I would highly reccommend this home.

Simply Delightful

The house is immaculate-clean and pristine. There is no detail not covered. The owners have thought of everything and are amazing hosts without ever even being seen. They live next door and offer every assistance but do not invade privacy. Excellent choice!

We completely enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean. Priscilla was so helpful. There were a lot of toys that kept the kids occupied.
