AMAZING property!

This was the most beautiful place I have stayed in! The location was killer. Everything was super clean and new. Kitchen was stocked. Beds super comfy! And the deck view and swim ledge was breath taking. I will be back!

Views for days

Wow! We had an amazing 5 night stay at spectacular Slowtide. Everything listed and pictured is true and more. The location is great for everything northern to central Eleuthera. Everything and anything you could need was supplied at the house- beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, life jackets, floaties, towels, everything for the kitchen, books, games, and so much more. We loved jumping off the platform into the beautiful water and drinking coffee and watching the water from the porch above. And that outdoor shower was incredible. There were 6 of us and the space was perfect. The beds and sofas are so comfortable- I could go on and on. Recommend Slowtide 1000%!

My family of 5 (parents with three 18 + aged kids) stayed at Slowtide last week and we had an incredible time there. The house is absolutely perfect. We loved spending time on the back deck, watching the ocean and listening to all the voices of nature around the house. We (like others) saw sea turtles directly off the shore of the house, as well as dolphins and all kinds of fish. When you are at Slowtide, there is no sign of any other human activity in any direction you look, other than the occasional sailboat going by. It is literally the definition of peacefulness. We loved Eleuthera too. Slowtide is such an amazing place - it has everything we needed, was incredibly clean and the beds were really comfortable. We loved being able to walk down the back stairs to the jumping/swimming platform, and spent as much time as we could there. Jon was great communicating with us and answered all our questions before we arrived, as well as a couple that came up while there (thank you Jon!). We were also given very detailed information regarding the island (i.e. favorite beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, where to get gas, etc.) - this information was really helpful and allowed us to truly use our time efficiently to see and go to the things that seemed most interesting to us. We hope to come back some day and all 5 of us give this house the highest possible rating there is.

WOW- What a view !!

My husband, a girlfriend of mine and I just spent 3 nights at Slowtide which we found to be absolutely as pictured and described on the website. The house was very clean, comfortable, well furnished and equipped, very quiet and private but the view was the absolute best part of the experience ! Sitting on the wide porch on loungers being mesmerized by the gorgeous blue water was a highlight of our 12 day Eleuthera adventure. Jon was very prompt in replying and answering questions we had prior to our arrival. There were nice "extras" included- beach chairs, floats, beach towels and built in soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the full size showers along with a hairdryer and plentiful towels. It was also nice to find quite a variety of spices for the cooking we did but we also enjoyed the food at the Surf Shack, a short drive from the house. Since we knew we were heading south after the time at Slowtide we did not go in that direction to eat but there are good restaurants not far in that direction as well. For anyone who just wants to enjoy the view, the breezes and the quiet privacy (and doesn't mind a drive to the beach) , Slowtide is a peaceful retreat that would be hard to beat ! Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Eleuthera is one of my favorite places in the entire world. The perfect mix of people, views, activities, exploration and food have brought us here for years. It was a dream to own a home here and now we hope our guests love it as much as we do!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Slowtide Eleuthera is unique because it's extremely spacious - perfect for small groups to come and relax. The home has 2 master bedrooms and 2 master baths. Slowtide also has unique lofts accessible by ladder (one with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin beds). The best part of the home is the front porch - sprawling over 600 sq feet and with plenty of furniture for the entire group to hang out. We also put some thought into the rails and have table tops on each side with room for 4 each to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner while staring right at the water. Finally, the home has stairs that walk right down to the water. There is no place on earth like it and we look forward to hosting you soon!
