Wonderful and quiet getaway next door to FDR State Park

We loved our stay, as it was super close to FDR State Park and Callaway gardens. The cottage has everything you need and is very cozy. Highly recommended!

Perfect cottage in great location

We had a wonderful stay here. The home was clean and nicely decorated. It had all the kitchen necessities to cook a nice breakfast. We went out to lunch at a local restaurant, visited Callaway Gardens and went for a nice hike in the state park. Will definitely look to stay here again when we visit the area in the future.

Gorgeous and quaint woodsy stay

Don’t skip this one! The house has everything you need for a relaxing getaway from everything. We spent so much time by the fire out back. Gorgeous place, and since we travel to GA regularly, we will be adding it to the list of go-to spots.

Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights Getaway

Our family stayed for two nights in Pine Mountain while visiting Callaway Gardens and experiencing the Fantasy in Lights/Christmas Village event. The rental house was cozy and comfortable for our family. 15 mins to Callaway made it convenient.

Relaxing

The weather was amazing, the trees shade the porch very well. The house was cozy. I really enjoyed my stay as well as my in-laws who stayed with us. My and the kids hangout was on the porch with the little gas fire table. Just a wonderful place that made wonderful memories!

Great house

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable chalet. It was clean and comfortable. I was grateful for the k-cups that were provided as I brought a bag of coffee based on the picture. It was located near everything we planned to do: Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights, hiking in FDR Park and good restaurants. We especially enjoyed dinner in Woodbury, Georgia at the Black Bird Cafe. Thanks for providing a great place to stay.

Mountain Getaway

Adorable Cottage! We enjoyed our stay so much. The location is very convenient and close to Callaway Gardens and downtown. The upstairs loft bedroom was my favorite with tons of books-so peaceful. If you are traveling with older adults just note the stairs are very short in depth so may be difficult for some. The resort area was very quiet but we were closer to other cabins than I could tell from pictures. The owner was AMAZING, answering my questions immediately.

Perfect mountain retreat

We were in town for our son’s graduation at Fort Benning. While the base is nearly an hour away from this property, it was the perfect opportunity for us to bring him back to rest and recoup from 22 weeks of boot camp. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Plenty of games and movies were enjoyed as well! It’s nestled in/near the FDR park and the scenery was beautiful. The nearby towns of Pine Mountain and Hamilton are quaint as well. Would definitely recommend!

Great location

The location was perfect. The beds were a bit small but we made it work. We had 4 adults and 1 child and living room area didn’t have enough space for everyone to sit comfortably on the couch. Probably better for a couple of adults and kids. I would suggest they purchase some better pots and pans. We needed up eating out most of time because it was hard to cook at the cabin. Coffee maker wasn’t great either. But location was perfect and we enjoyed our visit and all the time at Callaway Gardens.

Wonderful place to stay!

My family and I stayed here during a weekend trip to Callaway Gardens and the Wild Animal Safari. The rental was very clean, had 2 bathrooms and 3 queen beds (which worked well for us), a nice kitchen, and a great outdoor space with a fire pit and grill. I absolutely loved the huge window in the living area and there was a small lighted tree, Christmas placemats and Christmas scented candles out. My 16-month old grandson was with us and I was worried about the stairs, but the owner had a baby gate at the property, so that was a big plus! I was also pleased that there were portable fans and space heaters in the closets.
