Que vous songiez à célébrer une lune de miel ou un anniversaire, ou profiter de quelques jours de «temps en famille", nous vous souhaitons la bienvenue à Casa Cardinal. Rock sur la véranda, ou faire de longues promenades dans les bois, puis profiter de la cuisine dans une cuisine entiÚrement équipé. Savourez les sons de la nature, ou regarder vos jeux préférés sur la télévision par satellite. Ceci est une cabane construite personnalisé offrant une retraite paisible! et situé, littéralement, à la fin de la route à Mountain Top. Comme vous le verrez dans le porche plus radicale dans la localité, des cardinaux, des colibris, des cerfs et autres créatures de bois apprécier l'éloignement, et vous aussi.

Toute l'annĂ©e 'ronde, vous bĂ©nĂ©ficierez toujours changeant panorama depuis les rockers porche et le swing: fleurs de printemps, l'ombre en Ă©tĂ©, ou cascade de couleurs de l'automne. Si vous ĂȘtes un randonneur d'hiver, vous reviendrez Ă  un feu crĂ©pitant dans la cheminĂ©e en pierre, et tremper une thĂ©rapeutique dans le jacuzzi double. Deux chambres, deux salles de bains et un grenier - peut accueillir quatre adultes et 3-4 enfants confortablement. Le dĂ©cor est confortable sans ĂȘtre trop froufrous, ou trop «pays» ... juste votre "home away from home". La rampe d'entrĂ©e et intĂ©rieur, maĂźtre de bain et la chambre, ont Ă©tĂ© construits pour accueillir des personnes ayant une mobilitĂ© rĂ©duite sur le premier Ă©tage. Sur un aprĂšs-midi pluvieux, la mezzanine offre un coin lecture confortable, puits de lumiĂšre et une deuxiĂšme salle de bain complĂšte. EntiĂšrement meublĂ© pour un week-end ou quelques semaines, «mi casa es tu casa".

Casa Cardinal est situé à seulement quelques miles de Callaway Gardens et Warm Springs, et fournit un cadre pittoresque, grand salon, deux chambres qui peuvent accueillir jusqu'à quatre adultes et deux enfants; une cuisine avec cuisiniÚre pleine taille, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes et cafetiÚre, et toute la cuisine et ustensiles dont vous aurez besoin!

Such a warm and inviting cabin in a gorgeous, secluded forest setting. Well equipped kitchen for making your own meals. Lots of restaurants in surrounding communities. Some closures during the holidays, but Callaway Gardens restaurants open every day. Kim is an excellent host - provides a wealth of information for your visit and is very gracious. LOVED our second visit to Casa Cardinal!

So quiet!! Great place to unplug and unwind. House is very comfortable and well maintained. Loved the setting. Located at the end of a road bordering FDR State Park. Callaway Gardens is nearby which offers seasonal events. Decent array of places to eat in several neighboring towns.

Kim, Ali and Stefani welcome you to our beloved log cabin and hope you make your own family memories! We three (mother & daughters) built the cabin to be a place of peace and spirituality-- a place to enjoy nature and one another. Over the years, we have hiked, biked and horseback ridden pretty much all of Callaway Gardens, FDR park, Warm Springs, LaGrange, Westpoint and surrounding countryside. A former military family, we still travel the world, but love to return to Casa Cardinal, to rock on the porch, enjoy the fireplace, play board games and enjoy photography. Now that reliable internet has arrived;-) we particularly enjoy sharing our home-away with other foreign service and military members and their families, teachers, authors & artists, and all who are young at heart or who find the flora and fauna, as well as rich history and outdoors activities in the area, a welcomed change of pace.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

With roots in Atlanta, but a life spent in Florida, Callaway Gardens was a family "stop" along the oft traveled road in-between. On one such stop, to marvel at the Christmas Fantasy of Lights at Callaway Gardens, Kim, Ali and Stefani found Mountain Top Resort was being planned, near FDR park and above Callaway Gardens. We chose the lot literally at the end of road, bordering the forest and brimming with fireflies and birdlife. We intended our cabin to be a place to relax, observe and enjoy nature and our own ever-changing lives. From the start, young Stefani (later an architectural student and designer) had clear ideas as to how to build and furnish our cabin. Over the years, Ali (now an ER Doc) and Kim (slow retiring from DOD) also brought items which reflect our international travels and interests, yet fit harmoniously into our simple place. When the girls were small, the surrounding attractions offered safe but beautiful trails for them to explore; as they grew up, the cabin, Callaway and day-trips to Atlanta's great museums, shopping and restaurants made our cabin the perfect place to share with friends. Designed with future accessibility and space utility in mind, we three plan to keep the cabin for decades to come and to continue to enjoy the seasons of our family's life, as much as the panorama of nature's changing annual seasons. We hope you will do likewise, as our guests.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

There are many log cabins sprinkled around Pine Mountain and Warm Springs, but our cabin was one of the first. We situated our cabin to allow for privacy and proximity to woodlands nature. We enjoy morning coffee on the porch, rocking or porch-swinging; and evening wine as the sun sets and the wood fire in the fireplace is started. The downstairs master has a sauna and walk-in shower with a built in seat. Upstairs, the girls' room, has a skylight which often showcases a passing moon, as well as a loft for reading or naps. A metal roof allows just the right amount of soothing patter on the roof when the rains come. It's simple, but cozy and convenient. Internet allows for one, streaming, TV; a dishwasher and stackable washer/dryer make the cabin modern. If you like the all white sterility of chain hotels, then our cabin is not for you. If you prefer the peace and quiet, and tasteful colors and textures of nature, then you will find your comfy escape here.
