Mountain Hideaway et au calme, mais Ă  quelques minutes de Callaway Gardens

The Mountain House est un chalet Ă  trois niveaux situĂ© sur l'un des points les plus Ă©levĂ©s du dendroctone du pin, Ă  mi-chemin entre les villes pittoresques de Georgia Warm Springs, la maison de la Petite Maison Blanche de Roosevelt, et le dendroctone du pin, la maison de Callaway Gardens Resort. Notre chalet comprend deux chambres plus un loft avec un grand lit, une salle de bain et demie, une cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et une magnifique cheminĂ©e en pierre disponible d’octobre Ă  mars. Profitez des hauts plafonds, ouverte salon principal et l'enrouler autour de pont avec des vues boisĂ©es. Les villes de dendroctone du pin et de Warm Springs sont trĂšs visiteur amical avec l'hospitalitĂ© du Sud, restaurants rĂ©gionaux (nous faisons aimer notre Bar-B-Que!) et magasins spĂ©cialisĂ©s et antiquitĂ©s.

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Hideaway. Michael was very responsive to our needs. The house was as expected and had everything we needed. It was stocked with coffee and bottled water which we great appreciated. The kids enjoyed foosball and the toys and books. I loved the location on the mountain. Overall 10/10 and would highly recommend. Also, the beds were comfy as well with plenty of space for us all to spread out over 3 floors.

We enjoyed our stay at this house. We had lots of room (3 bedrooms!). Kitchen facilities were good (thought microwave was a bit recalcitrant at offering lower than full power - but we figured an end run around that). Beds and bedding were comfortable. There were a few lights out in the overhead lighting/fan fixture, but we compensated by turning on the many floor lamps as needed in the evening. We would suggest to the host (who was a VERY friendly person!) that he put some of the extra blankets, sheets, and linens in a closeable container, so that there would be room to fit our clothes in the dressers and closets. All and all, however, a very fine place to stay! Quiet, comfortable.

Everything was wonderful!!! The host, Michael, was easy to communicate with. I have never stayed at a place with all the extras. Such as coffee, tea, paper goods and games. I would stay again. Great place for the family.

The little cabin in the woods was just what we needed. It was peaceful and very well accommodating. I enjoyed the balcony and drinking my coffee and looking at the trees. The house was very nice. The kitchen was well stocked and there’s a wonderful game room downstairs. I also loved having a washer and dryer downstairs. .

Property is well established in a neighborhood of eclectic condos. It is very well maintained, is very well established. And the owner has given a great amount of care and attention, time and effort to make it a very good stay. I have stayed at Ritz-Carlton before and this particular owner gives more attention to the details of the lodging than does the Ritz-Carlton. I definitely will stay at this unit again. I'm very grateful for the fine touches that this owner applies to this scenario if you reach for a something in the cabinet, it's already there. If you think oh no I left something at home, he already has thought about it. Great job whoever the owner is.

We took this trip as a way to relax and recharge before I had to go back to work for the new school year. It met our needs perfectly! While initially a little difficult to locate, the location was perfect. It was secluded and quiet and exactly what we needed. We look forward to coming back and staying here again!

Perfect three day getaway

We did a lot of cooking while we were here, and there was only two of us so the kitchen space was perfect. We hung out mostly in the den area, which was beautiful. The whole entire process was smooth.

Peace & Quiet Gettaway

First let me say just how pleasant Michael & Joanne are. They truly care about their guest. They demonstrate this by keeping a clean well stocked home. You really only need to bring yourself & your food. They even provide all types of coffee & tea and all the paper products you may need. My family & I really enjoyed our stay. I must say its quite tricky getting there, but it is a hideaway.

Very Good Property

This property was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The only negative was I didn't understand that the third bedroom was a loft room. However my adult son didn't object to sleeping up stairs. The owner provided vary types of coffee and tea and two types of coffee makers. Over all our stay was very good.

Quiet neighborhood/wonderful location

Near Callaway Gardens, Wild Animal Safari, great hiking and about anything you might wish to do in the area. The home is equipped better than average for children inside. (They loved the play area downstairs.) The deck outside is a bit rickety, but we were away on excursions during the day, so not overly concerning for our group.

This chalet was well-equipped with all the necessities for our family to get together for a wonderful week. The owners responded quickly to questions and sent detailed instructions for getting to the cabin and checking in.

Great place to unwind

Beautiful place! We loved the layout! Enjoyed the fire place downstairs and watching movies. Such a great selection of coffee included and paper products were appreciated! Also enjoyed the Callaway water waiting for us cold in the fridge! The host was so nice when we locked ourselves out of the unit and he was happy to help us get back in. So easy to work with! We loved our stay and hope to come back again in the future! Thank you!

Transplanted Yankees from Ohio, where Joanna and I graduated from Ohio State (Go Bucks!), we moved our Family to Georgia in the early 1980's and never left. We are all Dawgs now, as Michael, before he retired, was an administrator and teacher with Georgia's Technical College System who earned his graduate degree from the University of Georgia. Joanna is a retired research scientist and an avid vegetable gardener. We live nearby in Midland, Georgia near Columbus on the 4 acres that has the large vegetable garden we always wanted.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We bought this property after moving to the area and renting another unit in the small neighborhood of A-frames and Chalets. It was within a short commute of work, and when our current chalet was remodeled, we bought it and it was our primary residence for several years. We loved living there full time and love going back frequently just to relax and enjoy the mountain.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our chalet has three levels, an open floor plan with a high ceiling on the main floor and lots of light. It is cozy and has a wonderful deck overlooking the forest. That gives us about the best view in the neighborhood as it looks out into nature. A huge stone fireplace in the lower level is original and available to guests in season and we provide the firewood. We know you will love the peace and quiet, the fresh air, and being close to nature.
