Channel Marker
This 3rd floor 2 bedroom 2 bath condo directly on Surfside Beach accommodates 1-7 guests. Features include a fully stocked and upgraded kitchen with refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and all of the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay! We provide new plush towels and all linens to accommodate seven guests. Wi-Fi, DVD player, new washer/dryer, all new mattresses, furniture, and wonderful waterproof flooring! This complex has a private Oceanside swimming pool (open seasonally) and a charcoal grill with a picnic area. The oceanfront balcony overlooking the Atlantic is by far the best view in town! Channel Marker is a 3 story walk-up. NO ELEVATORS.

Surfside Beach is a small seaside town ~8 miles south of Myrtle Beach near Murrells Inlet. Nicknamed 'The Family Beach', Surfside maintains a small town laid back child-friendly environment. The town-owned fishing pier, water park, miniature golf, super markets and restaurants are just a short walk, golf cart or car ride away. From this convenient location you can visit Ripley's Aquarium, Brookgreen Gardens and many local golf courses.

We hope you enjoy our home and we take great pride in our beachfront condo. That said, being so close to the beach carries certain unique issues specific to the location. Normal wear and tear as well as weather events are much greater in this environment. Please understand all efforts are made to accurately identify all amenities. Occasionally amenities may be unavailable due to seasonal closings, repairs, and other issues beyond the control of the owner. We will make best efforts to update our listing with accurate information when possible. We also cannot control the weather. Atlantic Hurricane season runs from June 1 - November 30 but storms can still occur outside of those dates.

Pool season is March 31st through Sept 30th.

We have upgraded to Spartan disinfectant, which Approved by CDC for COVID.

Unfortunately we are unable offer refunds due to uncontrollable events where amenities are unavailable and/or poor weather. Please obtain travel insurance, available when you book, if you are concerned that one of these events may occur during your booked stay.

Great spot!

Second time at the condo. We enjoyed every minute. Luther is great host, very easy to reach and work with, and get things done if you have an issue!

Great!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable and had all the needed comodities. Lovely view and easy acces to the beach. It was easy to work with Luther. We already booked for next year! We just wanted to mention two safety issues: the railing on the balcony is not solid (was a bit scary with the kids) and two electrical outlets that come out of the wall when you unplug a charger. Thanks again Luther! We can't wait until next year!

Great views! Loved that you could open the window in the bedroom and listen to the ocean. Could use a little updating with regards to the furniture (specifically the master bedroom), but overall we would stay again! It had everything we needed and the views were just what we wanted!

Clean and comfortable. The location is right on the beach and the views from the bedroom and living room were spectacular. I liked the location because you felt secluded from the main area and the beach was quiet yet it was a short drive to be back on the highway.

The good: The location is great with an amazing view. Beach was never too busy to get a good spot, beds are comfy. Area was pretty quiet and seemed safe. Check in process was easy.The Bad: The cleaning needs to be improved. There were dirty sheets left in the storage area of the living room end table, closet floors were filthy, under beds looked like it hasnt been cleaned in a long time, mold in dishwasher. The table on the balcony is so rusted with rough metal its a hazard to use. The listing says it has an ice maker which is not there. Front window and balcony slider do not lock which could be a concern for younger children.

Mid-July Girls Getaway

We had a Mothers/Daughters getaway and throughly enjoyed our trip! The condo location is perfect - right on the beach! The beach was never too crowded and was convenient/easy to access. The bunk bed bedroom was fun for the daughters (and had a huge bathroom for them to share) and the main bedroom was roomy, comfy, with a great view and perfectly appointed bathroom. The kitchen had everything needed including a stunning view of the ocean :-)

Another great stay in Surfside. The location of the property is perfect for our family and right on the beach! Luther was very communicative and always quick to respond. The property was clean, had all of the necessities, and we really enjoyed it! We would absolutely return!

Wonderful location with a beautiful view of the ocean and a relatively quiet beachfront for the kids to play. Had one minor issue but Luther was very responsive and had it taken care of quickly. Would definitely recommend!

All Around Great!

I want to start with the host, Luther! He was communicative and made our stay so much better. There was no nickel and diming that sometimes happens. The condo itself is cute and feels “homey”. All the kitchen needs you have are there. There is a Keurig and a small 5 cup coffee maker. You can cook, if you want, or walk up the street for some restaurants, ice cream etc. We walked the beach up to the ice cream shop on the pier. Check in/out were super easy. The location is perfect for groceries, restaurants, beach, shopping, etc. The best part is the view from the balcony. Sunrise with a cup of coffee on the balcony is second to none!

Stayed at Channel Marker in Murrell's Inlet. The condo was immaculate and ocean front. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and activities. Would do this again !
