Channel Marker
This 3rd floor 2 bedroom 2 bath condo directly on Surfside Beach accommodates 1-7 guests. Features include a fully stocked and upgraded kitchen with refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and all of the amenities one would need for a comfortable stay! We provide new plush towels and all linens to accommodate seven guests. Wi-Fi, DVD player, new washer/dryer, all new mattresses, furniture, and wonderful waterproof flooring! This complex has a private Oceanside swimming pool (open seasonally) and a charcoal grill with a picnic area. The oceanfront balcony overlooking the Atlantic is by far the best view in town! Channel Marker is a 3 story walk-up. NO ELEVATORS.

Surfside Beach is a small seaside town ~8 miles south of Myrtle Beach near Murrells Inlet. Nicknamed 'The Family Beach', Surfside maintains a small town laid back child-friendly environment. The town-owned fishing pier, water park, miniature golf, super markets and restaurants are just a short walk, golf cart or car ride away. From this convenient location you can visit Ripley's Aquarium, Brookgreen Gardens and many local golf courses.

We hope you enjoy our home and we take great pride in our beachfront condo. That said, being so close to the beach carries certain unique issues specific to the location. Normal wear and tear as well as weather events are much greater in this environment. Please understand all efforts are made to accurately identify all amenities. Occasionally amenities may be unavailable due to seasonal closings, repairs, and other issues beyond the control of the owner. We will make best efforts to update our listing with accurate information when possible. We also cannot control the weather. Atlantic Hurricane season runs from June 1 - November 30 but storms can still occur outside of those dates.

Pool season is March 31st through Sept 30th.

We have upgraded to Spartan disinfectant, which Approved by CDC for COVID.

Unfortunately we are unable offer refunds due to uncontrollable events where amenities are unavailable and/or poor weather. Please obtain travel insurance, available when you book, if you are concerned that one of these events may occur during your booked stay.

Good location, great weather the four days we were here. Convenient to restaurants, groceries. Lack of an elevator for the third floor wore out this 91 year old, but there probably aren’t many three story places that have one. No lamp in one bedroom.

The location is wonderful, gorgeous sunrises, great oceanfront area, and the home has been updated with new furniture, flooring, paint, and comfy beds. It is 3rd floor so be prepared to walk/carry luggage up lots of steps (particularly if you have elder or younger family traveling)- but that is standard for most condos in the area. We had a few concerns with cleaning and a loose balcony railing, but the host was super responsive and pleasant to work with.

Amazing stay! The host was amazing. Something small, but the hairdryer broke and they had one delivered that day! Easy to communicate with, and the condo was perfect for the 4 of us. Beds were comfortable and the view was amazing.

We were disappointed in the room.It could have been cleaner for the price. Bathrooms are outdated, kitchen faucet didn't work properly,condo smelled musty and railing on the deck was loose. Don't think we will rent at channel marker again.

Great property. Location is amazing. Close to stores, restaurants and activities. Right on the beach. If I had to list any issue, the third floor walk up (no elevator) was a minor inconvenience but the property makes up for it. Would 100% rent again.

Rooms clean, comfy beds, beautiful views, nice beach. Pool was nice but the weather wasn't warm enough for us to go for a swim.Kitchen had everything we needed- including a fully stocked Keurig! Host responded almost immediately to a few of our requests.

Luther was a great host! I was impressed by the thought put into making his guests' stays enjoyable. The simple things like toiletry supplies, towels, bedding, ect. were a plus, however, the additional laundry and dishwasher pods, dryer sheets, ziploc bags, and trash bags just sealed the fact that Luther puts a lot of thought into items guests may need. We enjoyed utilizing Luther's condo while other members of our family stayed only two blocks away. One of my favorite things was the sliding window in the main room. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean waves crashing and watching sun rises peaking over the horizon while laying in bed was epic. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony steps from the beach. Luther was forthcoming with a previous guest's rating of issues with the kitchen faucet and balcony railing. Honestly, we found the faucet was fine just stayed on the spray option, no biggie. As for the railing, if you live near the ocean or have property there, you already know that the salt water and air take a toll on a building's exterior. It's the trade you make when you decide to live the Salt Life. There wasn't an elevator, but we viewed the stairs as much needed exercise and we all need that, right! We also knew this prior as it was in the property description. We enjoyed staying here and would again! Thank you Luther for all the little thoughtful things and great communication! We definitely rate you a 5 star host with a beautiful property!!!
