This little cabin was delightful!

It was great for our family of four. The kids loved the loft "bridge," and appreciated that there was enough space for us all to separate if we needed to. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The location is great; far enough away from towns to feel like you're away, and near enough to not spend all day driving to parks or the store. The host was appropriately communicative, gave great directions, and answered our questions promptly. We hope to come back to this cabin again!

Family vacation

Very cute little cabin very quiet and comfortable. Love the fire pit outside. My kids loved walking down road looking for agates we found so many. It was so much fun âŁïž we will do again. Scott was very easy to get ahold of if needed. Thank you.

Perfect for us!

This was a little gem. We weren’t quite sure what to expect other than it worked for our location, price point and size. It ended up being exactly what we wanted! Super clean, equipped and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Extended weekend getaway

My husband and I were looking to get away for a long weekend and wanted a cabin in northern Minnesota. This place was perfect! The location was very remote and away from any noise of the city. You do have to travel on a gravel road for a couple miles but that was not a big deal to us. We wanted complete solitude. There are a couple small towns nearby that we visited during our stay with very friendly residents and the cafe in Barnum was amazing! The cabin sits on a property with miles of wooded trees and there is a fire pit on the backside of the property to have a relaxing evening fire. (You have to provide your own firewood). There is also a covered deck on the front of the cabin if you still want to enjoy the outdoors and it is raining. The cabin is very cozy inside. There are 3 bedrooms, only one of them is private and has a door. The other 2 bedrooms were upstairs in a loft style arrangement. The beds were furnished with linens. The living and kitchen areas were perfect for the two of us. Everything is furnished for the kitchen that you may need-minus food of course. There are no blinds or curtains on any of the windows and I would plan on bringing towels to take a shower, they were not provided. Also the wifi did not work most of the time, which was fine for us and totally understood given the location. But if you're a tv watcher, I would bring alternate methods of entertainment. We had an amazing stay in the cozy cabin in the woods and Scott is very nice and prompt with any questions that you may have.

Cozy Cabin in Secluded Area

This cabin was located off a dirt road outside a small town in northern Minnesota - which was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We could hear and somewhat see the occasional car driving by on the dirt road from the backyard of the cabin, but other than that it was completely private. The cabin itself was a good size for my wife and me. There are three bedrooms, so more people could fit, but the common areas might get a little cramped with three couples, for example. The only real issue we had was that the backyard where the firepit is was pretty overgrown when we checked in on a Thursday evening. Scott let us know that he had hired a service to mow it, but apparently it hadn't happened. Someone came out right away the next morning to mow it. Overall we had a great stay and the communication with Scott was very prompt and responsive. Would recommend.
