Downstairs, relax in the master king suite with laundry area and a screen porch perfect for morning coffee and wildlife watching. The back patio is ideal for grilling and the private outdoor shower is a refreshing treat after a beach day. Zip to East Beach or the BHI club in the 6-passenger cart included. My wife and I loved our time here. The place was as advertised and is perfect for anyone who wants to be in a home in the middle of the woods. The home was so quiet and cozy. It was secluded but also conveniently located to everything you could want on the island. It was perfect for what we were looking for in our vacation!

Nice stay

The house was exactly as described. It was cute, clean and in a great location. We enjoyed navigating the island from this area since it was at the far end which forced us to bike (something we enjoy to do!) and use the golf cart. East beach was close, too. A very nice 5-day stay.

Great location, condo was clean but we did see 2 roaches which was a little upsetting. The internet was spotty at best.

It was a great place and was a little bigger than I had imagined. Certainly more than enough space for the 5 of us. The beach chairs could use replacing. The bigger golf cart was nice.

A much needed Walk on Sunshine

Lovely long weekend at BHI and A Walk on Sunshine was just what we needed. Clean, well appointed cottage close to East Beach and Mike's Bites. Would definitely recommend.

Mixed review

The property is cute and furnished nicely. There were cleanliness issues in the kitchen and there were roaches in the downstairs bedroom. (These are probably exceptions to the normal upkeep and owner was very apologetic.). There needs to be instructions for how to operate the TVs in each room. We finally contacted the owner so we could watch the TV in the den, but just gave up trying to work the two in the bedrooms. Also, you will be expected to start the laundry for linens before you check out. There were no instructions for the washing machine and I really thought this should be part of the cleaning fee and not required of a guest.

Weekend Getaway

Stayed at Keepers Landing for a weekend getaway and really enjoyed the house. Check in process was very easy and the house was extremely clean upon arrival. One small thing was the internet didn’t connect to the tv so we ended up using our cell phone hot spot. Other than that the house was great and would definitely stay here again.

Quiet getaway

Our overall experience on the Island was wonderful! Love the Bald Head experience! Just a couple of things we would point out
Some better operating directions for the main TV would have been nice
Wasn’t able to be addressed until next day
.Better trash directions would help to
Something like the Bin is located on the side of the house
It wasn’t easy to see
Earlier check in time would be nice
.3:00 pm would have been wonderful instead of 4:00pm
We will rent again
But for the money spent a few of these things could be tweaked.

Wonderful house and location

First time back in at least a decade!! Came for a wedding - house was perfect - well equipped- very up to date and comfortable all around! Did not use summer items but loved the convenience of 2 bedrooms and bathrooms for 2 separate adult groups. Management was right there when light were out in main bathroom - we definitely would stay again!

Lovely place

Great short weekend away. Place was clean and had all that was needed. The golf cart was amazing and was so good to have the plastic wrap since the island was on the chilly side.

Bald Head Fun

Great location close to the wedding we were attending on South Beach. Easy transfer of luggage from the ferry to the tram that transported us to our rental. It was was easy to explore the island on the provided golf cart. Having a map of the island at the rental was helpful so we could easily find our way around the island. Having beach towels, chairs and bicycles was a real plus! We found the well-stocked grocery store off of Federal Rd. in the South Beach area. South Beach was a great beach for walking, collecting shells and swimming. Thanks for sharing your house!

Even better than the pictures!

This home was so perfect! Beautifully furnished and very clean! Loved having the six seater cart. Highly recommend a quick lunch or snack at mikes bites right up the road.
