Mo's Cottage is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage conveniently located in Hatteras Colony of the Tri-Village area. Only 3 houses back from Merrimac beach access, this nostalgic cottage has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

* Included is a fully stocked kitchen to prepare meals, laundry, beach toys, beach chairs, bikes, and a beach umbrella. Mo's Cottage is complete with a comfortable screened porch and an open living concept. The cottage has 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds. Linens are provided for the beds. After a fun afternoon at the beach or the sound enjoy the outdoor shower.

ALL BED LINENS AND PILLOWS ARE PROVIDED

*** You will need to provide all beach towels as well as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and any food/condiment items for your stay.

**** 1- 50lb dog or less will be considered for a non-refundable fee of $150.00.

** PLEASE NOTE: Hatteras Island is a fragile island, and we cannot control Mother Nature. We strongly recommend you purchase the traveler’s cancellation protection through VRBO as we have a strict cancellation policy. Our policy is 100% refund 30 days before stay cancellation, 50% refund 15 days before stay cancellation. Purchase the traveler’s cancellation protection policy if you need more protection than this. We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The house had everything we needed and was only a short walk to the beach. I spent a lot of time reading on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay here again.

Spring Break in Salvo

We had a great time in this charming cottage, a 1 minute walk from the beach. It's super comfy, and the wrap around deck is wonderful. We'd definitely stay there again!

Amazing week!

This place was so nice for the week. It was cozy and we enjoyed the outside porch for sitting and reading in the evenings! The location was pretty quiet and the beach was so peaceful because it wasn't crowded! We loved staying here!

4th Time and Happy As Always

We just got back from another terrific time in the Outer Banks. We always enjoy staying at Mo's Cottage for it seems like a second home to us because we like everything about staying there , along with everything in the area . I highly recommend this place for everyone.

Our Grandparents, Mo and Laurie, fulfilled their dream of building a family beach cottage on Hatteras Island in 1972. They enjoyed many years of fishing, exploring empty beaches, and bird watching with their two daughters and grandchildren. Our family treasures Mo’s Cottage with many fun filled beach memories. Mo’s Cottage was an Island favorite for visitors, many families returning year after year. We would like to once again invite visitors to enjoy “Mo’s” as we do.
