Fantastic with the only negative beeing that we did not sojourn during the summer to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor space and the amazing pool. This would be a dream place in summer for a family. A1 overall.

The backyard was like a little oasis with the various seatings where you could avoid the sun. The instructions provided by the host were clear and concise so there was no second guessing. The host was very friendly and communication was top notch. Very well stocked house and super charming decor. We were close enough to the town to walk everywhere. Saint Remy is much larger than we expected and we discovered all these new alleyways with lots of restaurants the last night Only regret is not having spent more time in this location

We had a lovely stay at Valerie's beautiful house! Valerie was a wonderful communicator and truly went above and beyond to make our stay extra comfortable. Given we travelled during a heat wave, the pool (and air con!) was amazing and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. The location was extremely convenient to the grocery store, pharmacy and to the main center of Saint Remy, which is beautiful. Overall, I'm so happy we chose Valerie's house to stay in, as it is truly something special!

We would choose Le Cigale again and again! Valerie and Michel were superb hosts and the property had everything you would want! Very clean, wonderfully appointed, prime location to St Remy and all points Les Alpilles! Less than 30 minutes from Avignon TGV for easy travel and plenty of parking if you should rent a car! St Remy had so much to choose from in terms of restaurants, boutiques, weekly market, hiking and biking. This truly was a wonderful holiday!

We had an amazing time, the house was amazing! So clean and the host was wonderful. She was so accommodating with check in and check out and had everything you would need in the house! I could not recommend this house enough! We had a wonderful time and would come back! If you have kids the house is also perfect for them- the gate on the pool is great, the heated pool is wonderful, the house is all on one level so we were never worried of steps and the host had everything you would need for kids- my girl loved the teddies and pool toys and there was even baby monitor and towels for kids and bedding for kids! So so wonderful :)

Valerie greeted us and took us on a tour of her lovey home, demonstrating how various features of the home worked. Valerie is an outstanding hostess! The home is spotlessly clean, and very well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The decor is very tasteful, and the outdoor area is amazing! We will definitely stay again should our travels take us on a return trip to Saint-Remy-de-Provence.

Excellent. A wonderful little house in a great position and secure parking. A short stroll into St Remy and a bakery almost at the end of the road. The house was immaculate - we could not have wished for more, clean, modern, 3 good sized bedrooms, comfortable beds, lovely little garden, large parking area behind electric gates. We will return.

Wonderful property in St Remy

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Cigale, St Remy. Our host, Valérie, has such a beautiful home, and has thought of everything for a comfortable and relaxed stay. The outside area with garden area and swimming pool is fabulous. The Villa is perfectly located in a quiet area with a short walk into the centre of town. Valérie was the perfect host and we would highly recommend.

Perfect for a short (or long) break

We had a lovely stay at this property which was a nice 5 minute walk to town. Checking in with the host was easy and Valerie showed us around the property explaining where things were etc. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and really well appointed; it had everything we needed. And the pool and pool area were greta too - a lovely way to finish out day! Would definitely return here if I travelled to Saint Remy again

Absolutely amazing home

Our stay at Valérie’s property was absolutely amazing!! The home was beautiful and clean and a short easy walk to downtown. The home had anything you could possibly need and they even brought in a crib and infant needs for our 11 month old! The pool was incredible and perfect for midafternoon breaks in the hot weather. Valérie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. This is probably my favorite property I’ve ever stayed at and I hope to be back!

Lovely Home & Location

We spent a week at the Villa Cigale and loved everything about it. The house is immaculate. The pool and outdoor space is beautiful. It’s a quick jaunt into St Remy, which is lovely on its own and was the perfect place to base ourselves for day trips to other Provençal villages. We had everything we needed. Valerie was warm and welcoming and available for any questions. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Excellent house and location

Valerie was a charming and helpful host - every thing in the house was high quality and super clean, the pool was fantastic and outside furniture and bbq superb. The location was brilliant 200m from boulangerie and deli and small rotisserie and just 10 mins walk into town, where there are plenty of restaurants! You could even get away without a car. It was probably amongst the best two / three places we have stayed in, in over twenty years of travelling to France. Highly recommend.
