The owner was very attentive to us when we contacted him. We had a minor question our first morning and he was there to help us within minutes! Also, it snowed one evening and the next morning we saw that he had already shoveled the walks. Plus a garage to use was so nice. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This property was perfect and just felt like home. It was stocked with everything we needed and was a great location for all the points of interest in the in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The house seems like it was caught in time during the late 60's. The decor itself just made me smile every day that we were there. My dogs enjoyed the fenced backyard and the dog toys that were there to keep them occupied. I will recommend to all my friends.

I felt like I was staying at my grandmas house ( a good thing ). Comfy and clean. The layout of the home was perfect for my husband and our two teenage children. Our two dogs enjoy the freedom of being unleashed in the backyard., after a day of hiking at Cuyahoga. Dan, the host was very accommodating.The house had toys for the dogs to play with, as well as a few things for young children if you have them. The house was stocked with everything you would most likely need on your stay. We would definitely stay at this property again when visiting the area.

We had a great time! Dan was very attentive, making sure we had checked in OK and had everything we needed. The fenced-in backyard was perfect for my dog Sherbert to let off some steam and we loved taking walks in the beautiful neighborhood.

Convenient and spacious

rooms are large, decor is authentic 1960s (clean and well-preserved), and location is great. Clear, timely, and concise communication from owner. Thanks for a great stay!

Great house! Fenced yard!!!

Great place. Perfect location, very nice and safe. It was fun looking at all the mansions in the neighborhood. Dave is very nice and answers text and calls. The house literally has everything one could possibly need, from kitchen to laundry room. We will definitely be back the next time we are we are in Akron.

Best place in Akron

The house was in a great neighborhood, and came equipped with everything you could ask for. The Host, Dan was very welcoming and communicative, the best host we have ever had on VRBO for sure. We will definitely be seeking out this place the next time we stay in Akron!

Throwback to the 60s

The area is nice & quiet with a train coming by every so often but not in an intrusive way. Actually, very quaint style. Home is very dated in kitchen & bathroom fixtures. Kitchen items are there but definitely more than gently used. Appliances needed a cleaning before used. Coffee, tea, & other items were stale & expired. I would suggest packing ur own if u'r looking for freshness.The main's bed was comfy. The toilet was low & the better of the 2 TBH. The hall bathroom's toilet was extremely low.Toilets are very very low to the ground. I'm 5'5" & my husband is 6'4" ... we both had issues. He kinda looked like he was being potty trained. (Sorry for painting a picture but it's accurate) Livingroom furniture is very grandma-esk. Diningroom table is very antique however in a very good way. Beautiful table & chairs (they do need some upholstery done to the seats since some have tears in them). Experience wise with Host ...Immediately when we got in the electricity went out. I contacted Dan & asked where the circuit breaker was so my hubby could care for it so he didn't have to come out in the rain. Dan did ascertain from neighbors that it was an area outage. I asked in general how long are they normally. He then gave me quite a few scenarios that were from car crashing into pole to other accidents. Whereas, I was just looking for high wind & teeming rain time period. I get that things can't be foreseen like that at all. Just trying to get a general idea. It

The house is retro/older. Very clean. Beds are comfy and warm. He has a ton of condiments. The back yard is fenced-in. Needs a little TLC. Dan was very nice.

Very comfortable home away from home in a great location

Dan’s place was perfect for our party of 5 when we were in town visiting family. The area is quiet and well-kept and the house was quite comfortable and spacious. More than enough seating and room to move around. We cooked and prepped several meals and had no trouble finding everything we needed in the kitchen. We were also grateful for 2 full bathrooms with great water pressure (it makes a difference when you have long hair!). The lightning bugs were abundant in Dan’s backyard, a rare site for these suburban Texas folks. Nearby Happy Tails Thrift Store was fantastic as was downtown Cuyahoga Falls if you’re looking for things to do. Not to mention the national park and the multitude of trails. Dan’s communication was great both before and during our stay and check-in was simple. We would absolutely return for another stay.

Great location to visit Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Dan was wonderful in communicating and available for any questions. Nice fenced in yard for our gentle giant. Great area.

Nice house in a great location

Overall we thought the house was nice and in a great location. There was plenty of space for our family. Communication from the host was great. We really appreciated having two full bathrooms, the fenced in back yard, Sun room, and well stocked kitchen.

Fall trip to Cuyahoga National Park

The house was very nice and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Easy drive to CNP. Fenced in back yard was perfect for our dogs.
