If nature along with stunning views is something that sounds wonderful to get away from your daily life, then you have found it. We have put together the holiday spirit that is bound to make you and your special ones feel like anything is possible and we also provide binoculars to see all the things that are going on around you that will bring you some much needed peace. There is something about nature we feel everyone needs to get back to. This property is located minutes away from everything you need or want. Also you can make your favorite beverage and enjoy all the wonderful past Christmas movie classics which we make sure you have and then some. We feel this stay will bring your holiday spirit to life and carry you for the rest of the year. May peace be with you and all the cheer you can handle. It's all here except you.

Steve was great to rent from. We came to Ohio last minute and needed to bring our dog. This house was great the view of the lake in the back was gorgeous. Plenty of space and a great deck and yard. Steve was in contact with us from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a great place for family vacation or need a last minute stay like we did.

Excellent experience! The host was fantastic. Communication was great...communications with detailed information were timely sent even before having a thought to ask for the information. Even during the stay as courtesy follow ups. Listing was very accurate, home very clean, and the general area very relaxing with a beautiful view. The layout was great and the lakeside room with 2nd level balcony was awesome. The home is close to all essential shopping needs, dining, and recreation as well as easily accessible to major shopping centers and attractions. Moreover, the property manager was about the property one day and we had a great conversation...very welcoming and kind. I 100% recommend this property if you are in the area!!

It was our first time doing a VRBO or any other private stay. We really enjoyed the experience and this particular property was very pleasant for our first time experience. The Lake view was spectacular and the property was better than expected in terms of its location and it’s quiet serene nature. We definitely would stay there again. The only negatives of the house were that there was insufficient toilet paper and soap. The only other negative was that, although we had paid a 79 pet fee, the owner expected us to leave our dog in her carrier at all times when we were not in the house with her. We were not informed of this prior to the stay, so we had a very small carrier for her. Had we known in advance, we would have brought a larger crate.

This lakefront home was perfect! It was clean and had all of the items we needed to make us feel at home. It was bright and sunny, with a private deck to sit and watch the lake activity. Ac worked perfectly, beds were comfortable, linens were new. We will definitely be back. Stevie was a great host.

We were looking for a waterfront house on the Portage Lakes and this fit our needs perfectly. The home owner was responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.

Truly a Home Away from Home

Wow. This house was extremely charming and well-furnished. Surrounded by trees and a great view of the lake, we could not have asked for more. Guessing the house at 800 to 1000 sq ft — so much more than our planned stay at the airport hotel. Nicely furnished, quiet — really quiet, and tastefully remodeled and decorated. Our stay was so much more than we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed this little gem.

Amazing views & peaceful

We loved this home and plan to return. It was exactly as described, very clean, host was very accommodating, located close to stores and restaurants, friendly neighbors, great fishing and the view of the lake from the deck was beautiful and the provided binoculars for wildlife was outstanding! The dishwasher came in handy cause the grill worked perfectly and we highly recommend this place and hope to return!
