Close to Big Boulder/ Jack Frost ski resort as well and plenty of restaurants like Shenanigans, Boulder View Tavern, Nick's Lake House, Piggy's, Louie's Prime Steakhouse...the list is endless! Enjoy Split Rock Resort amenities , which include the Indoor Waterpark, Redemption Arcade, Cosmic Bowling, & Movie Theater. Take advantage of Split Rock Golf Course too! Plenty of things to do nearby... at Camelbeach, Camelback, Hickory Run State Park, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Kalahari, Knoebel's, Mt Airy Casino, the Crossings Outlets, and charming village of Jim Thorpe. The expansive walk-out basement boasts a 4th bedroom area with pull-out sofa, family room/game room with new air hockey/ping pong table, full tiled bathroom with shower, storage rooms, laundry room with new washer/dryer, and a lovely patio with hot tub! I love creating memories with family and friends that last a lifetime. We have had vacation homes in Arrowhead Lakes & Lake Harmony of the Poconos for over 12 years and we constantly reminisce about the time we saw bear, how we snowmobiled on the lake, how I floated with my brothers till 3 am under a moonlit sky, how we caught " BIg Walter" ( our nickname for the largest bass in the lake), our first real Christmas Tree we got at Thornhurst Nurseries with their hot cider and cookies, going to the Country Junction, which claims to be the World's Largest General Store, going to the butcher shop and trying ostrich or venison or even bison, and the epic snowball fights followed by hot chocolate & smores! We look forward to being there whenever possible, knowing we will always have so much fun! The memories we create are priceless! I really hope that you experience unforgettable moments with your friends and family at my home! We fell in love, and I hope you do too!

Great place/host/location

Wonderful location, clean, fun for kiddos, cozy, and next to everything you would want for nice weekend getaway. 5 mins from the slopes in either direction. Beautiful view and Tina (Host) was delightful to deal with and made the process and stay simple and enjoyable!!!

Pocono nostalgia

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The house was a great size with modern amenities combined with rustic wood paneling and nostalgic old games. we enjoyed many hours in the hot tub relaxing and just sitting quietly among nature. Lighting inside is dim, combined with shade from the forest can be a challenge for those with vision impairment.

Clean cozy home with wonderful views

I have stayed in the Poconos every year for a winter weekend getaway and Tina’s house was by far the cleanest home I have stayed in. Great family house with a great fireplace deck and views of big boulder mountains. We will definitely be going back.

Fall Getaway

Great house with everything we needed. We really enjoyed having unlimited firewood for Fall nights. The hot tub is an added bonus!

Great host, lovely rental

The host Tina was wonderful! Super responsive and helpful! The location was a convenient 10 minute walk to the lake, with a private beach. Home was cozy, with a great dining table and several comfy couches. Game room was a plus. Kitchen was adequately stocked with equipment, and it was awesome to have a dishwasher and laundry machine. The house was a bit confusing, so would have been helpful to have some sort of manual (we had issues with the internet, regulating the temperature, finding the beach and locating passes, etc). But again, the host was super helpful. Also, neighbor houses are quite close and the hot tub and fire pit locations weren't very picturesque. But those are small quibbles with a mostly lovely house.

Quaint Cabin-esque House

Enjoyable weekend getaway. There’s a beautiful fireplace in the living room with plenty of wood to burn, entertainment throughout the house, and plenty of space for family activities. If you want to get out, there’s also a lot of restaurants in the town which is a short drive.

Amazing!!

Wonderful property, very clean and well kept. My only advise is that if you plan to cook, there are some pots and pans but not much so maybe take some from home. Other than that the place is gorgeous, I would recommend and we plan to go back there again.

Thanks Alisha! If you ever stay again, I have extra pots and pans in the closet by the kitchen... but they are up high so you may have missed them. I do also have a small pan set, crockpot, and instapot that are not standard supplies. But if you need, lmk and I will have the maintenance team leave out for you!

Beautiful Place!

Beautiful house with awesome views! Waking up to the sunrise over the lake with a bunch of deer right by you is an awesome way to start your day. Nighttime hot tub is a great experience!

It was allll good , until....!

The house is beautiful. The area is lovely. However for some odd reason the day we were scheduled to leave the water was not working at all. We could not clean ourselves or the house. When the property manager (Tina) was contacted at first she seemed professional, Offering to give me $100 yes , $100 credit for the inconvenience for six people with the total 1600 and then some for the weekend. I was kind enough to say let’s make it 200 and move on but then she text me about an hour later saying we broke three of her windows! this was extremely frustrating and disheartening because I was on such a high from having a good time although we didn’t have water I was kind enough to let it go. But for her to then accuse us of breaking three windows and deny me the credit that she initiated. I feel like it’s discrimination and I am ready to call a lawyer. Tina is constantly texting me telling me we broke windows at her home when we did no such thing why would she ruin such a good weekend with this nonsense? I have been inconvenienced and disappointed. I am due a credit for no water! And my security deposit. This is a nightmare! I also have time stamped video of the walk through when we first arrived! The windows were already broken. She then Staged a photo of the broke piece next to the window and sent it to me. I can’t make this up!!!! Please help!!!! Jessica

HI Jessica, I know you are upset because I did not give you your security deposit. It is wrong to tell such lies and accuse me of discrimination .This is the first time I had to keep a security deposit . Yes, I am a fair person and did offer a small credit if the water issue was on our end. However, the plumber discovered that you guys broke the well pump when you or one of your friends messed with the valves and water lines. Also, the locks are not the standard kind and I had to custom order new ones, which costed $400 with labor. The total damage to my home ended up being $1950 , and your security deposit only covered a quarter of that. I have pictures & texts that you wrote after you got there about how perfect the house was , so there was no issue with the windows when you get there. I did ask you to send supposed video you mentioned , but you did not because I know it does not exist. I stayed at my house before you and don't damage my own home. I also had the house professionally cleaned and the cleaning lady is very thorough. She always lets me know if anything is broken & takes pictures, so she will testify to that as well. By the way, you were the one who called, texted, & threatened me 32 times. VRBO actually told me that I needed to let you know what was broken and why I was not issuing the security deposit. So that is the only reason I reached out to you. In closing, I hope no one else makes the same mistake I did renting to you.

Cozy Winter Lodge

Tina was an absolute delight to have as a host. She answered any questions we had promptly and even gave me a call to ensure our stay was perfect. As for the house, spotless and just as shown in the pictures. 3 floors and plenty of room for myself and 7 friends to stay in. Fully packed with linens and kitchenware. Can’t leave the best part out either, the hot tub! Nothing better than relaxing outside with friends or family in a hot tub during the winter season. Absolutely recommend Tina’s home! 10/10
