Wonderful weekend

This was a great little place for our girls trip! It was clean and the perfect amount of space for the 4 of us. The wood burning fireplace was a bonus. The communication was great and the hosts were so nice!

We enjoyed our stay here!! My husband and I and our 3 kids came to Big Canoe for a family wedding. This cabin was very secluded and had great amenities for kids! Lots of board games and a nice open kitchen and living room area! We hiked bent tree property one day and it was BEAUTIFUL! Our kids really enjoyed the beach and playground area as well! If we ever find ourselves back in that area we will stay again!! The hosts were very sweet and made our check in process very easy!

Fantastic Find

We loved our stay here. The house was big enough to hold our family of 5 plus grandparents. Location was beautiful and quiet surrounded by the golf course. We saw deer and even a bear during our stay. House was extremely well stocked both with cleaning supplies and kitchen items. The hosts were very communicative and helpful before and during our stay. We would definitely return to this house.

The host was great and very responsive. The neighborhood is amazing with a gated community, but the home felt more like an aged mobile home on a basement structure. When we arrived, we had to sweep the spider webs from around the front door and porch. It is a wooded area so I understand those things can happen quickly, but it was an unusual greeting. It was very cold that week and the basement's area was pretty much unusable with only a few vents in that area. The living room and dining room were very comfortable and the screened in porch would have been nice if it wasn't so cold. The kitchen is an older kitchen but has new appliances. Overall, it was fine for what we needed, but Modern would not be my first description for the property.

Okay Stay

Beautiful area and great weather for July! We loved the community and amenities, but home was not up to what the pics portrayed. We got in late and couldn’t find the house. Front gate sent the community fire department to help us get in. Once we got in the house, it was definitely not as we expected. The home appeared clean, but seemed it had been closed up for a while. The musky smell was horrible and the air was on 80 so that didn’t help. It took all night to cool off. After a day or so the smell eventually eased up. The downstairs bedroom had no curtains nor did the door to the outside in the bedroom. Again the smell was bad down there as well. The beds were great and appeared to be pretty new. The home is obviously being renovated due to the unfinished flooring, etc, but in my opinion shouldn’t be rented until it’s completed. All in all it was okay, we enjoyed our time in the area for sure.

Bent Tree is beautiful!

We had a great stay. The house worked good for 7 of us and 2 yorkies. The kids loved the bunk beds and the many books, games, and toys. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, the screened porch is nice, the cul-de-sac is quiet, and we had no trouble parking 3 cars. Bent tree is beautiful, if you love nature stay here!

Great experience

Our family of seven had a wonderful time at this home. The neighborhood was lovely and included some lovely hiking/walking trails. The house was comfortable and cozy, and suited our needs. The master bed was super comfy! There were wonderful dishes and tools in the kitchen. Great place!

Our stay was highly complemented by all this property offers. Great cul-de-sac location surrounded by woods and the golf course. The kitchen is well equipped and the layout with the living room made for the perfect family cooking that we do. Highly recommended!

Three of the Four Bedrooms are Great

The property is located in Bent Tree, a golf community near Jasper, GA. This location is near to the very cute town of Jasper and lots of hiking. The resort is very hilly and wooded. The house is incredibly well-stocked with appliances (including a blender and slow cooker), new pots and pans, muffin tins, etc. The main floor has an awesome deck and a nice hang out area that was comfortable for our group of 7 (two sets of adults, three kids). The upstairs bedrooms were clean and well appointed, but the basement is frankly uninhabitable and I felt badly that my friends had to sleep down there. When we arrived the dehumidifier was not on and both upstairs and downstairs reeked of mildew. While we were able to air out the main floor, the downstairs continued to reek of mildew. Use of the dehumidifier made the entire basement stifling hot and really did little for the basement. As a person with severe allergies, I could not have slept downstairs, The upstairs was really perfect, but if we had known that the basement was really damp, we would have booked a different property. If you only need three bedrooms (king, queen, and double/twin bunks), book away. If you'll need the downstairs bedroom, then consider another property.

The dehumidifier is on a timer which is why it may not have been on, but we have adjusted that to ensure there is little moisture. The downstairs is only half complete, but we have ensured that the livable space is safe for guests. We do plan to make more improvements to the home and hope to welcome you again for a future stay.

The property/community is beautiful. Many nice amenities, we weren't able to enjoy the pool as it is not open very late. House was nice and comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive with any questions. We enjoyed our stay!
