We had a restful stay at this sweet cottage within a quick walk to Short Sands, shops & restaurants. Lovely beachy decor and comfy beds. Very pet friendly with a fenced in yard that our dog enjoyed! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again ourselves. Thanks Camille for being a welcoming host!

An excellent property- accurate listing, incredibly clean space that appears to be newly renovated and a perfect fenced in backyard for pets. Had all of the amenities needed and a close walk to Short Sands. We will definitely be back!

This rental was great,very accurate listing details. It was clean,modern and nicely decorated. Very walkable to downtown and short sands beach, and longer but doable walk to the lighthouse. The dogs loved the fenced yard. We would definitely rent again!

Perfect Getaway Spot

Perfect location near Short Sands yet far enough away to be quiet. Mostly fenced-in yard is perfect for our dogs and the hot tub is icing on the cake. The property owner even left a rose plant on the kitchen table!

Place is open with plenty of room and bedroom space. Walking distance to short sands beach. Close driving to outlets. Definitely recommend for a stay at York Beach. Lots of restaurants We all had a blast.

Perfect getaway

My husband and I loved our time spent at this adorable house! We brought our dogs who settled right in and loved the fenced in backyard. The home is equipped with everything needed for a relaxing getaway and is also walking distance to the beach. We will be back!

Fabulous, clean and comfy cottage!

First, sites often say “pet friendly” when they really mean “pets tolerated”. This was the first we’ve been to that really felt like our dog was welcome and encouraged - including a basket of dog toys that she loved! It was wonderful having a fenced in yard!And in summary: a comfortable, neat property, close to the things that count in York. The hot tub was a joy, the appliances first rate, we just had a wonderful time! Highly recommended!

You will want to go back!

The photos of this property are beautiful, but wait until you see it in person!! It was perfect for our family of four and our two dogs. They loved the fenced in yard. Not only is this home beautiful and clean, it is so close to everywhere you want/need to go. An easy walk to Short Sands Beach, all the sweet little shops, great restaurants, and York Zoo. Also a short drive to Hannaford for all your grocery needs. Camille was super friendly and very prompt with responding to messages. She made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We are already dreaming of planning our vacation here next summer.

This house was our first house rental after camping for years with 2 dogs. We could not have asked for better!! Fenced cute yard, spotless cute house, walking distance to the beach. I’ve been searching the perfect dog friendly house, that’s clean, modern and close to downtown York
.and this is it! Super clean, updated , convenient , comfortable , spacious, quiet house within walking distance to downtown York and short sands. If you forgot something for the doggie, don’t worry! They had a little dog basket with wipes, bags, towel and toys. Dog bed in the living room and dog bowls in the kitchen! Yard was fenced in which was a huge plus for us! We can’t wait to return with our doggies!

Great place to stay in York

My family and I had a terrific time at this wonderful York home. The house is beautiful, spacious, well-furnished and very tidy. The property was very clean, inside and out. Our dog quickly made himself at home on the owner-provided dog bed in the living room. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked with cooking implements and utensils. The hot tub was clean and very well-maintained. The half mile walk down to Short Sands Beach was easy, lovely and made it possible for us to not drive often. The weather was not very nice, otherwise, we'd have used the firepit at least once--next time, hopefully. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The neighborhood seems very nice. Camille is VERY responsive to messages; often connecting within moments of my communications. She was very helpful, conscientious, and prompt. We are definitely planning on returning for future visits!
