The Owl's Nest - A Quiet Retreat with XL Deck & Lakeviews!

This property was completely updated and it shows! Beautiful lake views and the perfect balance of natural beauty and close proximity to attractions and shopping while avoiding the heavy traffic and bustle of the tourist centers. Located in a quiet, secluded community in Needle's Eye Point, this is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway with the family!

The house offers an open floor plan ideal for family gatherings and entertaining. The main living space includes a huge living area which opens up to the kitchen and dining areas surrounded by large, floor to ceiling, picturesque windows and panoramic lake views.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the expansive, partially covered deck which runs the length of the house or enjoy the sunsets around the propane firepit. Comfortable deck seating is located throughout around both the firepit as well as the outdoor, extendable dining table. The covered area can be beautifully lit in the evenings with decorative lighting. A propane grill is also available for use with additional tanks as needed.

The kitchen is fully updated with stainless steel appliances, induction stove, dishwasher, granite countertops and additional seating around the kitchen island. We stock all basic kitchen necessities such as dishware, glassware, cookware, and utensils. There is a coffee maker and grinder on the kitchen counter as well as a blender, crockpot and mixer in the cabinets. Please be mindful that the house is on a septic system and all kitchen waste should either be disposed of in the garbage disposal side of the sink or in the waste.

The large, lake facing primary bedroom is very spacious with a King bed, walk-in closet, and private bathroom. This bedroom offers a secondary living space with a large entertainment center, loveseat and work desk. The second bedroom is also lake facing with a King bed. The third bedroom is the perfect retreat for the children with two bunk beds and an additional twin trundle mattress underneath! Perfect sleeping arrangement for two families looking for a weekend getaway!

If you are looking to spend time on the water during your stay, please inquire with the nearby marinas regarding boat rental availability or, if you are bringing your own boat, slip availability. These do tend to fill up quickly, so please reserve with as much advance notice as you are able. If you are unable to secure slip rental, there is a public boat launch just a few miles away across the 39 bridge on the west side with space to park your boat on-site, if needed. Unfortunately, due to local requirements, all docks on Needle's Eye are private docks and the owners are unable to rent these to guests.

Due to tight turns and steep ditches around the driveway, we highly recommend dropping your boat and/or trailer off at the marina prior to your arrival at the house. It can be very difficult to navigate a trailer out of the drive without causing damage to your trailer or nearby property!

Although there is plenty to do on the water, we are thrilled that there are many other nearby attractions just a short distance away! Some of our favorites include Roaring River State Park for some great hiking and trout fishing, Dogwood Canyon Park (great hiking, cycling, fishing, and scenery - there are also tram and segway tours available), day trip to downtown Eureka Springs, AR (Quaint town with shopping/dining just 45 minutes away), Top of the Rock - just south of Branson and offers golf cart tours of Lost Canyon Park, nearby cave adventures such as Onyx Caves or take a daytrip to see the endless attractions in downtown Branson!
