Our Host was very accommodating and prompt with responses. Our family had enuf room for sleeping and playing games. The next door neighbors even loaned sleds to our grandkids while they were outside so they could slide on the snow. The only downside was no handicap accessibility so my brother could not visit. (My bad, I forgot to look for handicap access while I was searching). The price was right for us , much better than staying at a hotel which we were first contemplating. We would book this house again if needed.

We didn’t want to leave!

Inside and outside, this house had everything we needed for our 5-day stay. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and just beautiful. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the loons. It’s just a short drive to town for shopping and restaurants, too.

Winter in Detroit Lakes

We had a wonderful time walking to shops and visited a brewery in downtown Detroit Lakes. We originally intended to cross-country ski the area, but with no snow and unseasonably warm weather, we involved Plan B with family and simply hung out together. The house was extremely comfortable, well stocked, and exceeded our expectations. Great neighborhood, and great host.

Thanksgiving Gathering

My sister and I rented this property to host a Thanksgiving for our elder relatives who are living in retirement homes in the area. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable and exactly the right size for our needs. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I could not say enough positive things about this experience and give it my highest rating.

Great place for a family getaway.

Our family had a great time visiting. The house had plenty of room and the outdoor area had lots of space to play games and gather together as a group. The beach area was fun and the use of the pontoon boat was much appreciated. We would definitely stay there again.

Roomy Lakeside

Lake home has all the amenities for a great vacation. Clean lake, great views, well stocked kitchen wear. Plenty of space up and down. photos dont show the great kitchen and spacious lower living area. Pontoon was an added benefit to see the whole lake.

WILL BE BACK!

What an AMAZING time we had for our girls trip!! This is such a BEAUTIFUL location right on the lake in a quieter/private area! Also if needing anything, like groceries, it is just a short drive to get anything!! The house was very clean and was more than enough space for all of us to hang out! We LOVED that the pontoon was included and easy to take out! The view of the lake from the house is breath taking and we sure enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck looking out at the lake! The host was readily available with any and all questions and always responded right away! We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful!!

This place has an absolutely wonderful open concept in the living/dining/kitchen area! There were 6 of us and so much space to all hang out together! The 3 great bathrooms were perfect for a group to all get ready!
