Lodge/ Cabin- Large Groups & Sportsman - Private Beach - Parking -fire pit

The Driftwood Lodge is a pet friendly rental with access to 125 feet of private beach. The beach, which is also pet friendly, has a fire pit, deck and beach hut. We also have a gazebo with electricity and a fire pit located in our grassy courtyard. A self-serve fish cleaning shed and boat trailer parking without disconnecting is available.
The beach is private for Driftwood guests only.

Our Driftwood Lodge has 3 bedrooms with a loft sleeping area and 2 bathrooms. Two bedrooms are downstairs with one bedroom and the sleeping loft are upstairs. You can sleep 16 people total or 10 in separate beds. There is a full bathroom on each level. We also have a pull out sofa if needed.

Pet fee of $125.00 per stay. No smoking inside of lodge.

We are located in the heart of Vacationland near the friendly village of Bay View within walking distance of a fishing pier, Clemons Marina with boat rental, a ramp and dockage, town park, locally owned restaurant, convenience store/bait shop, laundry facility, as well as a bar & grill with outdoor seating and fabulous tiki bar.

Cedar Point, Lake Erie Islands, Marblehead lighthouse and many other local attractions are within a short drive from our central location. Walking trails in various parks and quarries.

The place was spacious. The bathrooms were a little small and showers were difficult for some family members to use. The stove was a black glass top, my old eyes had a hard time seeing touch top knobs.

Perfect Place to Stay

The cabin and property are very well maintained. This is the perfect getaway for a weekend vacation. We used this property as an offsite leadership meeting location. It served us very well with wonderful amenities, ample parking, and beautiful view of the lake. I’d recommend this to anyone!

Great place for fishing trip.

Plenty of space for the party of 8 we had on the trip. Clean, with a great front porch to enjoy the outdoors even when it rained. The location was ok as we needed to drive into Port Clinton to get on our charter. This was our second time staying at the property. Will do it again!!

Great family getaway

We had a group of 17 family members celebrating christmas together. We used to stay at a place in Cook Forest for many years but it got to be too far away. I was so happy to find this listing! Very nice place that was in a central location and with enough space for everyone. It exceeded our epectations! Some beds were a little uncomfortable and squeeky but overall awesome place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hosts were very pleasant and easy to work with and very responsive! I highly recommend!

Wonderful Thanksgiving Getaway

We needed a place to hold our family Thanksgiving gathering for our large group this year. The cabin had it all. Plenty of sleeping accommodations, games and toys for toddlers to teens, a fire ring for those who braved the cold. There was room to spread out or snuggle together to watch holiday movies. And the kitchen was more than I could have asked for when preparing a Thanksgiving meal for 15! A truly wonderful experience for all of us!

Perfect extended family getawsy

My family and I loved our stay. We had 5 adults and 5 kids (aged 5-12) and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kids loved the private beach and the paddle boards/kayaks. It was so convenient to be able to just walk back to the house if we needed something or someone was done swimming. And the firepit on the beach was a great bonus at night. We will definitely plan on a return trip.

Little family reunion 2024

Driftwood Lodge was a charming respite from all our budy lives. Space behind french doors & Wifi accommodated our eldest daughter having to work with online meetings the first couple of days. Our son , whose work overlapped during that time, mansged his meetings between cell phone & online. The littles (9months old, 18 months old & 3 1/2 yrs old) LOVED the footed tub & the beach. But there was plenty of room for them to play inside while we prepared meals. Sunsets were beautiful on the bay. When wind picked up, the mayflies didn't hang around. Kids enjoyed the daily visits from nature: bsby gull at the beach (with watchful parents nearby), wild turkey & several families of Canada geese. That being said, the drive & beach were clean & nicely kept as well. The young coupkes enjoyed the paddleboard at the beach. Proximity to Marblehead light & the island ferries & Tofts Ice Cream made for fun outings. Nice space behing the cabin to enjoy outside in the evening. The slider on the fron deck was another great place to great the day with our morning coffee & conversation. Truly Driftwood Lodge is a place our family would enjoy coming back to at any age!! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. P. S. Don't plan on doing laundry on vacation. It is after all VACATION!!

Sportsman's cabin

This property was perfect for our group of fishermen. Ample parking for boats and trailers, fish cleaning and freezer space on site, plenty of beds for a large group and close to several boat ramps. We will be back for our next trip to Lake Erie.

Had a great time at your cabin. Had plenty of room for the 6 of us and our to dogs. It was a good brother and sisters time together. Enjoyed doing the Jet Ski for the first time. Unit was located close to anything you wanted to do. Fire pit on the property and also on the beach was great.
